Middlesbrough Town Hall’s historically significant design combines gothic beauty with well-considered modern interiors, providing that extra something special for you and your guests. You're welcome to host your ceremony in the Courtroom, which sports a classic elegance for you and up to 110 guests to enjoy. Guests can be seated along the original wooden pews as couples exchange their vows. Elegant chandeliers hang from the high, stained-glass ceiling for a breathtaking effect. Afterwards, you and your guests can make your way to the Main Hall for your reception. Their largest event space, the Main Hall can accommodate up to 350 attendees at a time. Originally built to hold classical music concerts, this versatile space can host a variety of events, from your first dances to your wedding breakfast. The large stage, uplit organ, and stained glass windows will make sure your love story takes centre stage. If you prefer a more intimate setting, The Crypt will surround you with exposed stone walls and arched windows for a unique, rustic aesthetic. In addition, the Fire Station and open-air Courtyard is sure to make you and your loved ones feel welcome.
