Mill Farm provides four acres of open meadow to serve as a stunning wedding setting, located in the countryside of Gamlingay, Bedfordshire. Our family-owned-and-operated property has been lovingly tended by the Jakes for three generations. Established in 1975, the meadow was initially used to grow vegetables and produce sold at the family’s farm shop. Now, it serves as a breathtaking outdoor event space for in-love couples to stage the day of their dreams.

Mill Farm boasts four acres of scenic open-air event space for creative couples to style as they desire. This blank canvas location offers near-endless possibilities in terms of event layout and utilisation. There is ample room to accommodate all aspects of your occasion here comfortably. This can include your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening reception, and even tented accommodation. We are happy to allow couples to set up tipis, tents, and marquees on the grounds to provide shelter and indoor options for their celebration. The site benefits from its own electricity supply, freshwater, and CCTV. This location is ideal for those that wish to create their special day from scratch. The space can be easily transformed to suit any number of themes or wedding visions. The beautiful natural landscape that surrounds the site provides a perfect backdrop for special occasions and for wedding photography in particular.

There is also an onsite house that features four large double bedrooms - the master with an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe - a large open plan family kitchen, with bi-fold doors that open onto the decking and garden area, and two additional large reception rooms. There is direct access to the field from the house. The property will be available to hire along with the meadow, bell tents, open-fronted barn and amenities.
