Thank you for an an amazing day, Nicola and the team did a great job from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and their flexibility was brilliant. We both had an amazing day and evening and our guests all had a fantastic time, everyone commented on what a great venue and day it was.

As a supplier this venue is absolutely perfect for a wedding or special occasion.
The views are absolutely stunning, summer or winter it’s a photographers dream!
The hospitality team are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, food is top notch.
It’s really a blank canvas, big enough for anything you needed to make your event special!

The venue is very pretty and the price is reasonable, but we experienced a lack of attention to detail on the day as well as amateur staff and quite a few things that were promised as part of the package which were not delivered. As a result we have been in contact with the venue since, to express our concerns and request compensation for multiple mishaps and undelivered promises including the quantity and quality of the food, poor microphone and speaker equipment and staff showing a level of incompetence (including, but not limited to, one of the waiters dropping food on a guest's suit and not apologising). Aside from all of the events during the day, all of which were admittedly small errors, but when added up create a big complaint - it is the lack of accountability I have experienced from the venue since the day, that has caused me to make such a scathing review. They have shown very little accountability, they have essentially implied that because we didn't express any concerns on our wedding day that what we have since raised with them must be untrue. We personally did not want to spend our wedding day talking to the staff about areas we felt they needed to improve and a lot of the issues raised were only bought to our attention in the days after, by guests who were affected by all the mishaps/lack of attention to detail, so we couldn't raise them on the day. It is a shame the venue felt they had to respond defensively to our complaints & comments as it has left a sour taste and I would now not recommend this venue to any couple looking for a stress-free experience on their wedding day, I have attached a professional photo from the day which shows the BBQ food was clearly not cooked on the BBQ itself as promised as you can see the grid is completely clean, and no heat coming from it (regardless of the rain on the day - no one expressed they wouldn't use the BBQ to physically cook the food if the weather turned). This is just one example of the food quality not being to the standard promised, but unfortunately because the venue refused to share the CCTV they had allegedly been checking in order to prove that our concerns were invalid, I don't have any further photographic evidence to share. Also, beware that if there is a golfing event being advertised at the time of your wedding, there could be bright signage and coned off areas which could be seen in your pictures, which again you won't be warned about.

Nicola and her amazing team at the Mill Green Golf Club were just fantastic. Nicola has such an eye for wedding planning and just fitted our brief just perfectly. She coordinated everything so well that we didn't need to worry about anything.
The food that was served was so lovely and we recieved so many compliments on how nice it was. The venue is such a beautiful place and decorated to such a high standard. We are so glad that we held our reception here. Thank you everyone at Mill Green!

We held our wedding reception there and would rate it 100% they couldn't have done enough for us Gemma and Liam were fantastic.a very happy Mr and Mrs Dingwall.

Everything was truly superb, the ceremony room looked lovely and the marquee was better than I ever imagined. The food was piping hot and delicious, the staff were fantastically professional at all times, and the DJ was outstanding, the dance floor was packed from the start until the end.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mill Green for any event.

Just a quick note to thank you for our wedding day last Saturday, we had a super day. Everything went really well, you had done a lovely job with the decorations (probably better than I could have done) the room looked fab and the food and service was first class.

Thank you to Mill Green for our wedding which was the 14th August 2010. we had a great day and everything we could of asked for! we had great pictures around the lake and a hilarious time on the buggies. A day we will remember. we had a traditional roast dinner which was delightful and the dessert was even better.

Our evening reception was at Mill Green Golf Club, and a warm summers evening it was, we had the BBQ on the private patio overlooking the putting green and it was a lovely sunset. Toni was a great help and finished our cake for us the day prior. the room looked fab and the BBQ was excellent. We were very pleased with our day!

We had our wedding reception on the 4th September at mill green and it was beautiful. The weather was sunny and the room looked fantastic. We had plenty of meetings leading up to our wedding and everything ran smoothly. The food was great and plentiful, and we had an amazing time.

Our wedding was the 18th of December 2010, the day it snowed.
We had an amazing day, the area and view of lake were gorgeous for our photos. The food was superb and a lovely beautiful day to remember. All of the staff were attentive and cleared all of the roads and lane to ensure our guests a safe entrance and exit.
The planning was excellent and a huge help on the day.

Mill Green was fantastil for our Daughters wedding in August 2010.
All of the preperation down to the smallest details.Food was amazing and surrounds beautiful for all of our family pictures.

Toni the wedding planner at Mill Greeen was a fansatic help to us- a friendly & professional events co-ordinator. We had a great day, the food was good, & staff were helpful. We do think it may have gone a little smoother if Toni was present in the day - a mis judment on our side! But all in all a lovely day & the pictures have been fantastic with the views. Also there was plenty of room for children.
