We got married in July and gosh did Missenden Abbey DELIVER. We genuinely had the wedding we had hoped and dreamed of and it was all thanks to the amazing Missenden Abbey team and the stunning venue, got to mention the food was also insane. They were flexible and accounted for the fusion of both African and English culture! People always say that something usually goes wrong on your wedding day and just run with it, but genuinely, the team ensured everything was seamless which enabled us to feel so relaxed and fully embrace and enjoy our special day. We will forever be thankful. Shout out to Natasha and Lauren for always being available and approachable, regardless of our trillion emails. We could not recommend this venue enough and hope to be celebrating future events here too!

My husband and I got engaged 2 years ago and recently got married at Missenden on the 31st August. From the moment we visited the venue we knew this was the place we want to get wed. The scenery, beautiful grounds and amazing hosting, customer service and welcoming environment . All the staff were incredibly friendly, but our wedding Coordinator Natasha was outstanding. From start to finish she made our wedding feel seamless and was always on hand to answer questions (at the speed of lightening may I add!!). I couldn't recommend this venue enough. I must also mention that the food was outstanding too! We had so many compliments from our guests about their wedding breakfast meal and the buffet. It was honestly the best decision we made, and we will be going back in the near future for afternoon tea. Thank you to everyone at Missenden for making our day magical.

We cannot thank Natasha and the team at Missenden Abbey enough. The amount of effort they put into our day was outstanding. As the bride I was very relaxed and calm and I enjoyed every single moment of the day and that’s how to the planning, organising and support of the venue.

I had my vision and it was excelled and so much more. Throughout the process Natasha would reply to countless emails and any hick-ups on the way they were fixed.

Throughout our day we did have a fire alarm which delayed us by half an hour however the venue gave us half an hour extra of the bar service at the end of the night to compensate.

I also requested Indian buffet which was not on the menu and the chef made an outstanding spread of food. All the food was brilliant our guests loved 3 course meal that was on option.

We cannot thank the venue enough for the beautiful day we had.

We were so close to choosing another wedding venue but when we visited Missenden Abbey we were really blown away with how beautiful the venue was and how lovely all the staff were.

The whole process from booking our wedding through to the day itself was so easy. We were SO lucky to have Natasha as our wedding coordinator who was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day, exactly how we wanted.

We used Missenden Abbey for our wedding. From the moment we saw the venue, we knew we wanted to hold our wedding here. Natasha, our wedding co-ordinator, was really helpful and always quick to respond to any queries. On the day, Natasha was there to ensure everything was set up exactly how we wanted so we didn’t need to worry. The food was exceptional from the canapés to the wedding breakfast.
Our package included the DJ for the evening and Neville, the resident DJ, didn’t disappoint. We gave him an idea of the music we liked and he fulfilled the brief. I didn’t leave the dance floor all night.
Our whole day went like clockwork. It was our perfect day and this is in part due to Natasha and the whole team at Missenden Abbey. We would thoroughly recommend using Missenden Abbey for your wedding.

We had the most magical day and can't thank the staff enough. We had many compliments on the food, service, staff and beauty of the venue. Laura made us feel supported throughout wedding planning and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The pizza pasta van in the evening topped the day off!

Missenden Abbey was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Laura takes the weight off your shoulders & couldn’t do enough to satisfy our every need. Everything was taken care of. Great experience getting married at Missenden Abbey! All staff were friendly and accommodating, food was great quality and the coordinator Laura was brilliant throughout the day. Very pleased with the grounds and environment.

The only downside was the DJ, who got our names wrong and in general wouldn’t be someone who we would have hired.

We got married at MA in June, and can't recommend them highly enough. From the moment we booked, a year and a half before our wedding, they answered all our various queries quickly and efficiently. They accommodated all our various needs, including last minute room changes, and supplier requests. Our wedding coordinator had to take emergency leave the week of our wedding, and she was quickly replaced with another fantastic staff member who made all the final touches go smoothly. MA is quite simply a stunningly beautiful venue to get married, and the value provided by the staff, high quality food, included DJ, and the venue and grounds themselves is simply a great find.

I just wanted to say how amazing our Wedding day was. Laura, the Abbeys Wedding Coordinator, was the best & it felt like there was nothing she wouldn’t do for us, she made our day run so smoothly. The venue is stunning with its stain glass windows & pretty stair case & the grounds are kept immaculately. All the staff were so friendly. The food was very tasty & were really generous portions. All the guests that stayed said how lovely their rooms were, newly decorated & clean. It’s the perfect Wedding Venue!!

We chose this venue, as compared to several others we had viewed & assessed, it was, all things considered, best value for money.
We had exclusive use of the very well maintained Abbey which has a very cosy feel to it & with several day & evening guests travelling a fair distance, the on-site overnight accommodation was a major plus at a reasonable price.

Natasha oversees the wedding coordinators at the Abbey & all staff on the day so with over 20 years experience there, this was an important factor for us. Service on the day was very slick & numerous guests commented on how good it was along with the quality of the food.
This really is a great venue & the organisation very impressive so we would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Planning a wedding in a year did not seem as hard because of Missenden Abbey. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, in particular Natasha and Cathy leading up to the wedding and the day itself was so seamless because they were so helpful and made it as stress free as possible! From the beginning at the Missenden Wedding Fair we fell in love with the people we chose to be a part of the wedding. Our lovely harpist Tori, our funny and mystical magician Paul, our creative florist Taniece and her team, Tim and his on the dance floor fireworks and our wonderful photographer Graham who captured all of our chaotic and fun moments. If you’re going to get married we 100% recommend Missenden Abbey.

We planned the whole event in just over 6 months. From start to finish the team at Missenden Abbey made everything go smoothly. Natasha looked after us from the beginning, helping us to prioritise and giving us recommendations for various suppliers. We followed all of their recommendations and every one was exceptionally good. We had many special food requests and all of them were taken seriously, with Missenden Abbey looking after each one of our guests. On the day, we were looked after by Kathy and her team, who calmly ensured everything went smoothly and we knew we were in safe hands throughout the day. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the venue is an stunning in real life as it is in the brochure. We had the best day of our lives!

We got married at Missenden Abbey yesterday (25/5/24) and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day - truly the best day of our lives! Since meeting Natasha (our wedding coordinator) and booking our wedding in August 2022, Natasha has consistently gone above and beyond with every aspect of our wedding. Having such an incredible wedding coordinator honestly made such a difference to our wedding planning, and there is absolutely nothing I could fault from start to finish.

Every aspect of our wedding at MA has been absolutely outstanding - from the venue, to the food, to the coordination and organisation, everything! Our wedding food, made by the wonderful chefs, was honestly some of the best food we've ever eaten (we've had so many compliments from our guests)! It was a really nice touch when we had our wedding food tasting evening organised for us back in January, and we were blown away when everything was set up for us as if we were dining exclusively in the finest restaurant around! The food was prepared for us in the most magical way which was so special, and the staff had even printed off personalised menus for us for fun! On the wedding day itself, the food again was the star of the show, and we were so impressed with how lovely and attentive all of the waiting staff (waitresses & waiters) were!

We were so blessed to have such lovely weather on our wedding day, to truly showcase the beauty and glory of both the Abbey and the grounds. The whole set-up was absolutely perfect - there's nothing better than being offered Pimms or Prosecco after arriving at MA after the ceremony! Being able to have the resident Pizza Van (complementary with the wedding package we chose) in the sunshine for our evening guests was absolutely incredible too - genuinely the best pizza we've ever had and the friendliest man who owns the company too!

This truly is the best venue on the planet for a wedding (I know I'm biased, but I do genuinely mean it)! The wedding team (Natasha & Laura) have been absolutely fantastic, and it's been such a relief to have such communicative, transparent, efficient, and kind staff to work with! On the day itself (and the week leading up to the wedding), Natasha has genuinely been outstanding and went out of her way to make sure that every single request and need was met, and always put my mind at ease. It's been so lovely to have worked with such a lovely, kind, and supportive wedding coordinator, and I'm so grateful to have had someone so passionate about weddings help me have the bestest day of my life (because it truly was)!

I would absolutely recommend MA to every single person!
