Nicky and Simon (the venue owners) were such a delight to deal with. The main reason we booked this venue was because of them, it was just a bonus their home is surrounded by beautiful gardens which we made full use of; having an outdoor wedding. They were both more than happy to help and guide us during the planning process and from this we booked a few of their recommended suppliers, that were great. The Gallery and barn which were also included in the price along with the gardens are charming, and were the perfect place to host our evening entertainment. The next day we made use of their amazing grounds again for a game of rounder's and a picnic. While our guests played off their hangovers, Nicky and Simon kindly helped us clear away. Even their lovely daughter helped out by taking our recycling to the recycling bank, which we didn't expect her to do but were very grateful for. We couldn't thank them enough, we had a wonderful wedding in enchanting surroundings! We would highly recommend and will remember their magical venue fondly!

This is a truly magical venue, a stunning place in an amazing location. Perfect for our summer wedding, we could play games in the marquee field and watch the sun go down around the fire pit while partying the night away. The venue was ideal for our small wedding (60ish), which allowed us to use the gallery for the ceremony and the barn for our reception. Not only was the location amazing, but Simon and Nicky are truly wonderful human beings, helping to ensure that everything went without a hitch! They really help to ensure you have the perfect day and I we can honestly say that we had the best day of our lives! Thank you!

Nicky and Simon went out of their way to make Lucy and Danny's day the best it could be. Guests commented on the beautiful gardens and the warm and happy atmosphere. Having both the gallery and the cornbarn meant that we could use the two spaces for different purposes, and the ceilidh after dinner was a great hit! We felt at home both during the discussions ahead of time and on the big day itself, and nothing could have been improved. We heartily recommend Monks Withecombe for a wedding, as it made ours perfect! Thank you so much to Nicky and Simon.

What can we say? This venue, and its owners – Nicky and Simon – are simply fantastic. With the backdrop of Dartmoor, the stunning gardens and beautifully rustic corn barn and art gallery at Monks Withecombe helped us to create the wedding of our dreams. Nothing was too much trouble for Nicky and Simon and they went above and beyond to help us pull off the perfect day. Being the first couple to use their brand new Corn Barn made the experience even more special and we feel truly blessed to have been able to hold our wedding here. Our guests had an amazing day enjoying the beautiful gardens, playing games in the field, and dancing until they dropped under the sparkling fairy lights in the barn – it was a truly magical day,
