Located in Faversham, Kent lies Mount Ephraim, a beautiful wedding venue. This family-owned stately home with 10 acres of Edwardian gardens and stunning views of the surrounding countryside and orchards. Mount Ephraim offers the most perfect, picturesque and tranquil setting for your wedding day.
Facilities and Capacity
The main house at this property is exclusively just for you upon rental. As you can have access to the house, both the day before and the day after your wedding, you will have a stress-free experience. Above everything else, the team at this venue want you to feel relaxed and enjoy each moment. Ceremonies and receptions can take place in a range of event spaces. You can choose from getting married in our main hall which features an elegant staircase, and a guaranteed spectacular entrance under a large glass skylight. Alternatively, the gardens offer an enchanting experience for an outdoor ceremony. There is an impressive staircase leading down to the ceremony lawn, which sits alongside a series of rock pools and leads to a beautifully crafted Japanese stone bridge and lake. The reception rooms, adorned with marble fireplaces and chandeliers, create an elegant space for your ceremony. Wedding breakfasts can also unfold at Mount Ephraim, comfortably accommodating up to 100 for a sit-down meal. These banquets are prepared by fabulous caterers Scott Anderson Ltd. Using only the finest ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible, this team create imaginatively presented and delicious tasting food that is beautifully served.
Accommodation
There are 22 on-site guest suites at this venue. Out of these 22 rooms, there is a luxury wedding suite and four individually decorated, double ensuite rooms, so you and your select guests can wake up to the stunning views and enjoy breakfast the morning after your celebration.

Perfect Wedding
Cannot recommend Mount Ephraim highly enough. We got married there in late May and it fulfilled all of our expectations. The gardens are absolutely stunning and all our guests loved exploring. The house itself is characterful and attractive without being too austere or 'wedding-y' if you know what I mean. We wanted somewhere that gave a sense of occasion but also a sense of family and community, and Mount Ephraim delivers exactly that. The accommodation is brilliant too. Our guests loved the opportunity to use the snooker table!
Everyone who works at Mount Ephraim, especially Lucy the owner and Amy who was our co-ordinator on the day, were phenomenal. The day ran without a hitch and we were so reassured by every communication we had with the venue staff. The catering firm Mount Ephraim work with- Scott Anderson- are truly a cut above the norm. Lots of guests commented that the food was so nice, more like a high end restaurant than a large catering firm.
All in all, a perfect experience- thank you so much to all at Mount Ephraim!

Magical Venue
What an incredible venue! From booking our wedding with Lucy, and arranging visits during the ease of lockdown measures, right up to the morning after the big day; Mount Ephraim was the perfect venue for our wedding and Lucy and the team were amazing. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the grounds & house are, as well as the incredible food supplied by Scott Anderson Catering. Lucy made arranging the fine details of our day so easy and stress-free. She really made us feel at home and looked after, in order to have the most perfect day.
Surrounded by our loved ones and friends, our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more. Our first dance in the reception room by the stairs was a moment we will never forget - surrounded by our loved ones, singing & dancing together. It truly is a wonderful atmosphere in the main house and the gardens during the summer evening was beautiful.
From a very family orientated background, Mount Ephraim and all of its staff feel like (and some are!) one huge family. The bedrooms are beautiful and the bridal party loved their stay on the night of our wedding - even getting a glimpse of the Classic Car Show out on the front lawns the next morning - what a treat! Breakfast in the Tea Rooms was superb and the team were incredible at catering for our guests with allergens and the younger guests (Thank you Sophie & Elliot!).
The venue were so supportive and we were able to have sparklers at the end of the night & our live band fit in perfectly by the dancefloor.

Wish we could do it all over again
We had our wedding reception at Mount Ephraim in June 2023 and the whole day was perfect.
Us and our guests were welcomed with drinks and canapés on our arrival from the church and were given time to relax and mingle how we wished. Some chose to sit and chat whilst others had a wonder around the grounds, I wanted this feeling of freedom for us and our guests and the gardens were perfect for that. We also used this opportunity to have some photos taken including a group one of all the guests on the stairs at the tennis courts which we will treasure.
Our wedding breakfast was absolutely 5* and everyone commented on how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff were. We were given time and space to say thank you to our guests and do our speeches. Nothing felt rushed or on a strict to d schedule which is something we really wanted.
Some of us stayed the night at the accommodation which was spotless, high spec and felt luxurious which is definitely something you want to feel on your wedding day.
The gardens are stunning and were perfect for wedding photos, the views all around are breathtaking and you get a feel of being somewhere really special. We had so many comments on how lovely our wedding day was and I was so pleased everyone enjoyed themselves. The day was smooth and relaxed exactly as we wanted. Lucy made sure of this, she was so helpful, welcoming and warm and made us feel as if nothing was too much. The perfect person to help you plan your wedding.
I only wish we could do it all over again! Luckily you can go and visit Mount Ephraim gardens to reminisce which is a bonus!

The wedding of our dreams!
There really are no words to describe how perfect our wedding at Mount Ephraim was - it was an absolute dream and so much more than we could ever have expected.
From start to finish, Lucy was fantastic! Always quick to respond to emails and made us feel so welcome! We arrived at Mount Ephraim on Friday with 22 of our guests joining us for extended celebrations. We booked out both the garden wing and B&B the night before & the night of the wedding and this really was the best decision. Not only is the venue beautiful but the accommodation and all of the facilities are just perfect!
The wedding day was amazing! Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly the day had run!
We would 100% recommend Mount Ephraim to anyone looking for a stunning venue with both a grand house and beautiful gardens! The pictures are too die for at this venue.

Perfection
Lucy and her team at Mount Ephraim were exemplary. They were so friendly and made us feel as ease straightaway. The venue is magical and quite different from anything else we saw. It’s was so wonderful to have the whole house to ourselves and accommodate all the live music we wished for. The day felt effortless but I’m sure Lucy coordinated this behind the scenes. We have no regrets about booking this venue and we could not have hoped for a better wedding experience, they made our day so incredibly special.

The most perfect day!!!
Our wedding day at Mount Ephraim was absolutely perfect from start to finish and exactly what we dreamt of! Lucy and the team were fantastic - so friendly and accommodating, throughout the planning stages and on the day itself. The entire day ran perfectly, they made us feel completely relaxed and allowed us to enjoy every second. Their caterers (Scott Anderson) are superb, so many compliments on the food. The house and gardens are stunning and the whole team really made our day so magical. Our weekend stay in the B&B and Garden Wing also helped us to spend special time with our friends and family in this beautiful setting. I would absolutely recommend Mount Ephraim Gardens to everyone!

Perfect Venue
We got married at Mount Ephraim in July 23, and it was truly everything we could have hoped for - and more!
Mount Ephraim is a really special place, and Lucy guided us through the whole process of booking our big day seamlessly. The venue itself is beautiful, with plenty of accommodation and set up options.
We used the caterers that came with the venue - who again we couldn’t fault and even a couple of the recommended suppliers who were also brilliant.
Honestly couldn’t recommend a more special place to host a wedding. Thank you to Lucy & everyone at Mount Ephraim - we have the best memories of our day.

PLEASE get married here!
We would like to thank all the Mount Ephraim team for all your help from the day we booked our wedding and all the way through to our wedding day. Nothing was ever too much to ask for, especially during the difficult times we’ve all been facing, the patience and support we received throughout was incredible. All our guests have commented how stunning the venue was, how lovely all members of staff were.

Beautiful venue
From our first visit to our wedding day Lucy could not do enough for us she was so helpful and kind. Mount Ephraim we fell in love it was a beautiful venue it was perfect for our wedding the gardens where stunning, we got so many compliments about Mount Ephraim and how stunning it is.
