We got married at Mulberry House on Saturday 9 November 2024 and had the most amazing day. The team at Mulberry House are exceptional – They go above and beyond at every stage – From the first visit to planning meetings and to the day itself.

The Mulberry Suite, Cedar Suite, Marquee and Grounds are just “picture perfect” and we got lots of positive compliments about the venue. There is plenty of on-site accommodation that guests could stay, which made our wedding even more special by being able to have breakfast with our guests the next morning.

From planning the big day to the wedding day itself all the staff involved are highly professional, friendly and accommodating. It made the planning and the day stress-free and everything we could hope it to be – A special mention to Chloe, Claire and Jo who were amazing and helped our day become exactly what we wanted.


We could not recommend Mulberry House enough to any future couples – It really is the most perfect venue…we only wish we could come back and re-live our wedding day again! Thank you again to ALL the staff at Mulberry House.

We can’t recommend Mulberry House enough as a wedding venue. From start to finish they were responsive and flexible, and the whole team were kind, supportive and professional. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning, and all our guests loved their rooms and meals. Our huge thanks go to Claire, Jo and Faisal who made sure our day went perfectly, they were so on it that we even ran ahead of schedule! We will definitely be back to visit and would recommend Mulberry House to any couple looking for the perfect venue.

My wife and I got married at Mulberry House on 27 October 2024 and it was the most perfect day made even more special by the excellent staff at Mulberry House. Every single staff member was so lovely and accommodating - we truly felt at ease knowing that everything was in hand and the day ran so smoothly. Special thanks to Claire and Jo - the dream team! They helped set everything up and it looked perfect and was my vision come to life, and they were truly there for not only us as a couple but our family too - nothing was too much to ask. They were looking out for us on the day making sure we felt okay and that we were where we needed to be. And huge thanks to Chloe who was our point of contact leading up to the day and talked us through everything, answered every question and eased our worries.
The day was such a whirlwind and I was wishing it would never end! The staff thought of everything to make our day special - even going as far as putting wedding cake, card box and prosecco in our room for when we got back in the evening. Beautiful honeymoon suite, and seperate getting ready room too with an amazing breakfast spread.
As a lesbian couple we had struggled elsewhere to find a venue to accommodate 2 brides - but Mulberry had the facilities to make us both feel special and have our own spaces to get ready that weren't too gendered or typical 'bride' and 'groom' spaces. We felt completely accepted and welcomed by everyone at Mulberry House.
I could go on and on but in short if I could rate more than 5 stars I would - the venue is absolutely gorgeous and the service is top quality. It felt like one big family who welcomed us with open arms.

We got married at Mulberry House on 18/10/2024 and could not have wished for anything more. The venue and grounds are stunning – the lawn and garden is meticulously looked after and looked perfect every time we visited and of course on the day itself. This was one of the main selling points to us as it really gave us the ‘wow factor’ every time we went to the venue and we thought it would do the same to our guests – as well as being the perfect setting for our photos!

The whole Mulberry House team, from the lady who very first showed us round, Chloe the wedding specialist who helped us with all the planning, Jo the wedding co-ordinator on the day, the reception team, the bar and catering team and everyone else in between, were AMAZING.

Communication throughout the whole booking and planning period, plus even since the wedding, has been absolutely faultless – Chloe was always patiently on hand to answer my numerous questions and promptly replied to emails, took phone calls, and made us so welcome when we met in person at Mulberry House.

The day itself ran like clockwork – everything went exactly as planned with everyone in the right place at the right time, but everyone was still relaxed and having a great time – even our guests commented on how organised everything was and how smoothly it all went. Jo was so friendly and really put us both at ease on the morning of the wedding and looked after us (even helping me manoeuvre in my big dress!) the whole day.

All the food and drink was delicious – portions were a very good size and beautifully presented. We loved that we were invited to a tasting evening to help us make our choices for the day and were even able to pay an extra fee to bring my parents along for the evening so they could experience the food and venue before the big day too. The bar and catering team on the day were brilliant – with some even joining us on the dancefloor as the night went on!

Another huge benefit of this venue is the amount of accommodation. We were able to invite many of our guests to stay the night at the venue with us and then continue the celebrations at breakfast the next morning. The rooms and furnishing are of a great quality and have all the facilities you need.

We honestly cannot speak highly enough of Mulberry House and it’s amazing team and would 100% recommend. We cannot wait to visit again soon for afternoon tea or one of the other event nights!

We got married on 22/09/2024, and what a day! From the minute we viewed the venue at one of Mulberry's amazing wedding shows we knew IT WAS THE ONE!
The whole proceeds of wedding planning was made so easy with the support from Claire, Jo, Natalie and Chloe.
All emails were answered pretty much straight away and the lovely ladies on reception were always so helpful if we called up!
Nothing was too difficult for the team. A fussy eater bride… no problem. There were so many options to choose from and Nick, the head chef couldn’t be more accommodating! So thank you.
The wedding taster evening was fantastic! Live entertainment and the chance to sample the dishes you can’t quite decide between!
The wedding day itself…. The most perfect blur!
The girls arrived at 8am, make up and hair team ready to go! We had so much space! A getting ready room and breakfast room! Breakfast rolls and mini hasbrowns washed down by pink fizz! The boys had their own space too to get ready away from the girls! Perfect!
Claire and Jo made every part of my vision come true! From setting the setting the ceremony room up with the little details to making the wedding dinner room beautiful! Couldn’t have wished for anything more!
The food was ON POINT! So many positive reactions from our guests! Especially the brownie!
The waiting staff and bar staff all fabulous! Couldn’t do enough for us throughout the day! Sammy and her team really are amazing! Harley too. He’s served us many times at various trips at Mulberry and it was a pleasure to have him on our wedding day! He was great!
The evening …. Again amazing! Beautiful set up. Our centre pieces were moved from one room to another. No grief for the staff at all! They always saved us one of everything (even if we didn’t get round to trying it all) 🙈
The whole venue was pristine! Beautifully clean. Toilets and rooms spotless! Sammy, Linda and all the ladies you’re a real token! The grounds were also kept beautifully! And the black swans made an appearance which was extra special!

We had the most amazing wedding day at Mulberry house, from every meeting leading up to the day the team kept us up to date and checked in on us in our wedding planning. The team on the day specifically Jo was incredible and made our day run so smoothly! The food and drinks were delicious, and all our family and friends told us what a brilliant day it was and how great the venue did. The day was above and beyond what we expected, every staff member was perfect and it really was the BEST DAY EVER, thanks to Mulberry house, we want to live the day over and over again! Amazing food, delicious drinks, beautiful house and scenery, friendly team, organisation of the day was perfect, what more could you ask for!

We had our wedding at Mulberry House September 2024 and it was the best wedding I could have asked for and that was all thanks to the expertise and skills of everyone at Mulberry House.
From the day we arranged to book our wedding with Mulberry House, they offered tremendous support and helped at every stage. They are very professional and incredibly organised with the lead up to your wedding and spot on running the day for you. I could trust them completely.
All my guests had a brilliant time and complimented how wonderful, warm and brilliant the staff were as well as how gorgeous and well kept the grounds are.

We were aware of Mulberry House prior to becoming engaged, but once we were engaged we viewed Mulberry House along with a few other venues in Essex and Mulberry House stood out from the start.
The quality and attention to detail around the grounds, building and accommodation is incredible and made for beautiful photographs. We had an outdoor ceremony by the lake, however the cedar suite used for indoor ceremonies is just as beautiful. The marquee is crisp and clean, we noticed other venues looked a bit grey/grubby but that was not the case at Mulberry House!

The accommodation has recently been refurbished, it's clean and beautifully decorated and comes together nicely with the venue. Breakfast the morning after is also incredible!

Food was amazing (and Halal!), they catered to various dietary requirements including, gluten, dairy and caffeine free. Provided non-alcoholic options for toasts and reception drinks for pregnant and muslim guests.

Finally, the staff are amazing and make you feel like part of the family. From booking a viewing, to booking the wedding, questions etc and on the day of the wedding everyone is helpful and extremely good at their jobs!!

We've just had our wedding at Mulberry House and I am so glad we chose this perfect venue for our wedding. The grounds and house itself are just stunning and made for the perfect setting.
Jo and her team were just amazing. The last thing you want on your wedding day is having to think about the timings of everything, how things look and is everyone having a good time - it's supposed to be about us. Jo and her team made sure this was not the case for us and everything ran so perfectly without us having to think about anything. We could focus on having a great time ourselves, and getting in all the important things like time for just us, drinks and of course the photos.
I could not recommend Mulberry House enough, all the in laws have been talking about is doing it all over again, and if i could- I would be straight back to Mulberry House!!!

We had the absolute best wedding day thanks to the Mulberry House Team. We couldn’t have picked a better venue! All of our guests were amazed by the beautiful grounds and the ease at which the day proceeded, and the general treatment by Mulberry House Team. Our guests continue to say they have never seen a couple enjoy and relax so much on their wedding day and a lot of that was down to the amazing staff. Throughout the whole planning process, we felt cared for and looked after, even with bumps and unforeseeable problems along the way, which the Mulberry House Team tackled amazingly! Special shout out to them for holding our hand through the process as we were planning the wedding from another country.

I myself am vegan, and my husband is a chef, so we wanted a venue that could make the most bangin’ vegan food - and boy did they deliver!! Even our most meat-loving guests were blown away by the menu. It was INCREDIBLE!

We both said immediately the next day that we wanted to do it all over again! That’s a testament to everyone involved in making it such an amazing, special day.

We had our wedding here Saturday 17rh August. Everyone and I mean everyone has expressed how amazing the venue is alone, let alone how incredible every single member of staff is! The day ran fantastic, it went so smooth and we couldn’t have been happier! We are so so glad we found you when searching for our venue because it was perfect. We cannot Thankyou all enough especially Jo, Claire & Chloe who were faultless throughout. We are so sad it’s over but we will definitely be visiting every chance we get ❤️

From the day we set foot in mulberry house to view for a potential venue for our wedding we felt totally at ease and knew it was exactly where we would love to get married, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, venue, and feel good vibe sealed it for us.

From our very 1st meeting with Jo and all the staff they couldn’t do enough for you. Communication was spot on, planning meetings, you could see your were in professional hands, it’s what they do and they just do it so well !

On the day Claire was with us at every step and anything we needed was immediately resolved making the whole day flow and stress free. All our suppliers worked seamlessly with the venue making it a truly unforgettable day. So would suggest to go with their recommended suppliers.

They made me and now husband feel very calm. They made it flow very well and didn't have to worry about what was happening next. My husband suffered from anxiety and they made him feel calm they allowed him to take his time to get himself together, and Claire looked after him by making a special drink to make him feel better. I will 100% recommend this beautiful venue and will be back for our anniversary.

We got married at Mulberry House on the 30th May and it was everything we could have wished for. The day went so smoothly and Claire was so attentive.
