Neidpath is a fantastic venue to get married at. Its quirky nature means your wedding will stand out against all others. Everyone we dealt with before, during, and after our wedding was absolutely incredible. They did everything they could to take as much of the planning away from us as they could. I could not recommend Neidpath Castle and the team highly enough for your event.

Neidpath is the most gorgeous venue and has the best staff! From Ian who showed us round the first time we visited and gave us some cracking ideas, to Rachel who really got to know us over the past year and a half, planned the day to perfection, and helped with everything we could ask for beforehand, Sandy who kept us calm in the morning, sorted anything we asked of her, and finally David, he kept us to time the whole day, looked incredible, worked with all our vendors, supported us with everything!!

The flowers made by the castle were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! They were better than we could ever have imagined, they took our very basic idea pictures and made the most unbelievable displays! Just WOW!

The venue is gorgeous, all our guests had an amazing time wandering around, looking in all the nooks and crannies, and we had a great time staying in the Queen Mary's chamber for a couple of nights.

Even though the weather was very...Scotland in October...we had such an incredible time and we can't wait to share our pics with the team!

Our wedding at Neidpath Castle was nothing short of magical! The entire team was fantastic, ensuring every detail was perfect from start to finish. A special shoutout to Sandy, our incredible wedding coordinator, who made everything run so smoothly. Her organization, attention to detail, and calm presence were invaluable throughout the planning process and on the big day. The castle itself is a stunning venue, and the team truly brought our vision to life. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Neidpath Castle to any couple looking for a beautiful, seamless, and stress-free wedding day!

Where do we even begin? It’s taken me almost 2 weeks from our wedding day to compile all of our thoughts and emotions on just how idyllic, seamless, and dreamlike our wedding was.

Sandy from the very beginning you have been an absolute joy to work with. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, nor were they ever not appreciated when sending information about minor to major details. I was at ease with all the transitions involving Neidpath due to your confidence and expertise, which is not an easy feat on my end. Since I was at ease so was Andrew which as a combined pair is not an accomplishment that should be taken lightly. The only this I regret is your darn chest infection that stopped us from saying our sincerest and warmest thank yous in person. Please know everything was perfection on the day before, wedding day, and departure day.

Katarina was stellar in letting us know where everything was, including the dos and don’t of Neidpath. She left us with so much food in the main suite we couldn’t even finish it all or pack it in our suitcases! She was a comfort to know she was there, but also left us to explore and do our own thing (basically in complete awe of the place and me dancing around like a little girl in excitement). The floral arrangements were absolutely stunning and exactly what I had in mind! I think I have way too many photos of them in my phone. Please extend our thanks again even though we did our fair share when we were there.

Hannah is an absolute gem! She is sarcastic, kind, and just knew all the next steps like she was reading our minds. She kept the bubbly flowing, cued music, and made the day seamless, and our families loved her! She has this calming and soothing nature about her which when we hit a rushed moment, it allowed me in particular to stop and think about how special each minute was. She was always present and willing to do anything from gathering a family member to answering questions and accomplishing tasks. Please again extend our thank yous.

The catering team was a delight and the meal was delicious! They cued up our meal like they had done it a million times before and paired incredible sauces and concoctions with each dish. My mother even asked for the salmon recipe which she happily gave her! Again…. how many thank yous can I give.

Neidpath was truly a dream. We never regretted our decisions for a minute and we happily give our permission to post photos that I will attach to this email. Forlovenandthistle photography deserves all the credit for these amazing shots (Holly).

We had a perfect day for our wedding and this is down to the great support we got from the Neidpath staff throughout the wedding planning and beyond. The castle itself is stunning, rich history and can be made up to as grand or as minimal as you would like it. The warmth we received from all the team made us want to made it all again! Thank you.

The castle itself is stunning and was absolutely perfect for our intimate wedding. It was a bonus that we were able to stay overnight in the castle. The real star of the show, however, is Sandy! She went above and beyond at every step. She was responsive, friendly, and so incredibly helpful! I highly recommend Neidpath and its crew! I only wish we could get married there again!

We fell in love with Neidpath Castle as soon as we stepped in the door and who wouldn't. They have retained its historic features with the modern touches (plumbing) to make it comfortable.
We had our wedding in May 2023, the blossoms were still out and the weather was perfect.
Soon as we booked Neidpath castle, Sandy was our main contact and she was just spectacular. Sandy helped in any way she could with video calls, responding to emails at all hours and arranging visits for us and our suppliers. She had great suggestions for our wedding and let us run with our own ideas too.
What you need to know:
You arrange your own catering/bar etc. They will give you some supplier contacts but you can also use your own if they sign their contract.
Maximum numbers are around 94. This is a tight fit for dinner.
They have flower and candle packages you can use but not pressure to use.
You get 2 nights stay in the castle and cottage next door
Lots of stairs... just be aware
Plenty plug sockets etc for bands, DJs
Fully functioning kitchen

Neidpath Castle is a fantastic venue with gorgeous scenery and stunning backdrops. The staff are efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, and excellent to work with. There is no where else we'd rather have gotten married.

We had found Neidpath originally through a google search, and couldn’t believe such an amazing venue actually existed! We fell in love with it from the start, and couldn’t be happier that we booked it for our wedding day. We got a two nights stay in the castle as well which was the cherry on top. Once we booked the castle, we also had Rachel helping us with every step
Of our wedding planning process. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and always calmed us down if we were stressed. :) We literally couldn’t have planned our day without her, and she was there on the day to help as well make sure everytbing went smoothly.

The wedding day was an absolute dream. The guests loved the castle and getting to explore around on the day. It also made for some excellent photos. I can’t recommend this venue enough if you’re considering booking, do it!!

Neidpath Castle was a truly magical place to tie the knot, providing an amazing backdrop for our special day! Rachel from the events management team was amazing, consistently supportive leading up to the event, offering assistance and answering our questions to help make our wedding as unique for us as possible. Our guests loved the venue's charm and rustic atmosphere, giving us fantastic feedback. We really did have the best day and could not imagine getting married anywhere else!

Neidpath Castle was the only place we viewed, and we knew immediately that this was the most perfect venue. Sandy, David and the entire team, were extremely professional and welcoming throughout the entire wedding journey. Being handed the keys to an entire castle was simply surreal! Both the team and the location were serene and peaceful, and keep both bride and groom calm throughout the day.
