Firstly, we just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at New Hall for our amazing wedding day, from the planning all the way to the set up and ensuring everything went smoothly and that any issues were immediately fixed. On the wedding day, Izzy and Laura did such a fantastic job ensuring our wedding day went smoothly.
 
The venue itself is magical, our guests loved New Hall and were blown away by it.
 
We would 110% recommend anyone to have their wedding at New Hall Hotel, it truly is a dream wedding venue with the building being surrounded by the moat where the beautiful water lilies are, all the greenery, the history of the place makes it so grand and majestic and royal. 
 
Our family stayed in the hotel rooms and every single one of them loved their rooms, they loved the service.
 
And we were absolutely lucky enough to have breakfast together the next day in the main chamber (where we had our ceremony the day before).  That is something priceless, a memory I will forever cherish

We genuinely cannot fault anything, we are so happy, our family and friends said it was the best wedding they have been to :) and that's definitely such a grand compliment.

The venue is just absolutely STUNNING. Staff was wonderful. However, it feels like there is lack of communication during the wedding from the wedding organization team. I understand that the hotel has wedding almost everyday, and the team might be tired or does not have enough staff, but I feel that they did not put their 100% into the wedding.

We had our wedding day at New Hall in July 2022 and it could not have been more perfect. The venue itself is absolutely breath taking and is something that you have to see with your own eyes. If you are after stunning photos this is your venue. We had to postpone our wedding from 2020, there has been many tears and stressful moments but the staff at New Hall were super accommodating assisting us throughout the last few years. We can definitely say it was 100% worth the wait. When the day finally arrived we were absolutely blown away. Every one of our guests is still talking about how amazing the food was. All the staff we dealt with were so lovely and made sure everyone had the best day. If we had to do it all over again we would definitely choose this venue over anything else. We cannot wait to be back at New Hall in the future.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the staff to the service we couldn't have wished for anymore for our big day. Every guest was catered for and well looked after and no request seemed to much for staff.
Everything went perfectly and we did not have to ask for anything during the day.
We can not speak any higher about New Hall. And will most definitely be back for other occasions

My husband and I are from Jamaica and we decided to get married i England. We booked the hotel with just looking at the pictures. From start to finish we were pleased with the service. The property is beautiful!! We are happy that we had our wedding at New Hall

Absolutely can't recommend this venue any more. Its completely stunning pictures really don't do any justice. Can not thank Olivia Jacks and her team any more we had the best wedding day ever on 9th April 2022! The day was stress free too an left us with no worries. The communication from start to finish was amazing also. Makes me want to relive my wedding all over again!

We just wanted to get married as soon as possible, with a small group of immediate family, but still something to mark the occasion that felt special.
After a lot of searching online and emailing / ringing a few places with slow/no responses - we were lucky enough to discover New Hall through Handpicked hotels - they had an excellent website, got back to us very quickly with emails. They had availability for about 5 weeks time and arranged an in person visit straight away.
We knew we liked it the second we were there - the building and the setting is beautiful - the moat just makes it.
We were greeted by our wedding coordinator Olivia - who was friendly, relaxed, professional and who was able to offer us exactly what we needed 'the intimate package' - which was very reasonably priced and included ceremony room, private dining for 10 people a 5 course meal with wine, canapes, champagne, bridal suite, breakfast for everyone the next day - a dedicated team who would dress the rooms for you, a live video link for people who can't be there, a few other extras included and then other bits you could add on and build up your package if you wished. The wedding co-ordinator was amazing throughout, really helpful & patient, quick to respond to every question / amendment / new requirement.
They had a handy list of suppliers you could use to help you find local florists / photographers etc. or you can still choose your own.
Funnily enough - we had never been married before, so had no idea of the full process, but we were helped every step of the way. Olivia was great and has the aura of someone super experienced at wedding organising relaxed and calm and we knew we could trust her to help get stuff done!
The actual wedding day was perfect - the hotel has a one bride policy (only one wedding a day) - all the staff were extremely friendly helpful and attentive and made our guests, the groom & myself feel very special & well looked after.
The Ceremony Room and the Garden Room (dining room) are beautiful without any further dressing up (and the building is full of interesting history). But we did have beautiful flowers from the florist (recommended via New Hall/handpicked hotels) and I provided decorations and instructions, which the dedicated team followed to the letter and created something even more beautiful than I expected.
The hotel was really accommodating and let us store decs the night before / remove them the morning after.
The food and drink at the hotel was yummy and beautifully presented and there was a lot of it - everyone was stuffed after dinner. They also took great care to make sure any allergies /special food requirements etc were catered for.
We also had use of the lounge & bar and the out door garden space. The grounds are beautiful. Our Bridal suite room was amazing - extremely spacious, beautiful furniture and little extra surprises in our room chocs n rose petals that were a really lovely touch that made us feel extra special.
Due to covid & work & the difficulty travelling at the moment, we also stayed for our mini moon there - enjoying afternoon tea, room service - use of the swimming pool at the spa and nice treatments like massages and pedicures.
From beginning to end one of the best experiences of my life.
We highly recommend having your wedding there! Perfect for all your needs - everything all organised in one place - they really helped take a lot of the hassle and stress out of it - which is what you need when you've only given yourself a month to get married.
Felt perfect for our intimate 10 people wedding - but they also have larger dining rooms and a marquee if you want to have a BIG wedding.
We also recommend just visiting the hotel to enjoy the hotel! - We will definitely be back again.

We had the most fantastic wedding at New Hall Hotel!

From the very start when Olivia (our wedding coordinator) showed us around the hotel, right up to the day following our wedding (when we departed the hotel) everything ran smoothly and we had no worries or issues. The organisation and communications from Olivia were excellent throughout. Our queries were responded to very quickly, the final details meeting was very thorough and really helped us to plan our wedding in the last couple of months before the big day.

We chose to have a small wedding with just 14 guests. We were able to work out a package to suit our needs based on this and we were very pleased with the options available to us.

We had our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the Great Chamber - such a stunning room with lots of history. The great thing about this room is that it is so ornate that it doesn't require much additional decoration - we opted for some flowers for the chairs and registrar’s table, and some tealights for the windowsills, plus the red carpet!

We had our champagne reception on the terrace, where a section was reserved for us. Our wedding breakfast in the Great Chamber was absolutely fantastic - the food quality was excellent with really good size portions and the waiters/waitresses were very attentive and friendly. It all felt really special!

The bedrooms at New Hall are stunning – very comfortable and a good size. All our guests were pleased with their rooms.

We used the spa facilities at the hotel on the day after our wedding – this was such a lovely treat. The spa offers a really good selection of treatments, which we and our guests had booked in advance, on the advice of the hotel.
We arranged traditional afternoon tea at the hotel for our guests for the day following our wedding which was a really nice finale to our wedding celebration.

Izzy (operations manager on the day of our wedding) was fantastic, she was on hand throughout to ensure everything was as we had planned and we really appreciated this.

All of the staff at New Hall were so friendly and helpful, they really made our wedding day and stay at New Hall extra special. We had the best time! Thank you New Hall! x

We got married at new hall on 27th May 2022 and can honestly say we had the most beautiful day. The venue itself is stunning and we were lucky to have sunshine all day to really showcase it in our photos. The staff were very professional throughout and we’d like to give Olivia and Issy a special thanks for looking after the planning of our day. We had a bereavement very close to the day which meant some hard last minute changes had to be made - again Olivia was so understanding of this and helped us to still create the perfect day. It was just amazing, thank you.

We had our wedding ceremony at New Hall yesterday and what a magical experience it was! From the second we arrived, the staff were amazing! They had organised everything so perfectly and ensured things ran smoothly! Staff were professional, warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.

And the personalised teddy bear as a reminder of our day was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I hope this email finds you well. We recently had our wedding at the New Hall Hotel and Spa. All of the staff at the hotel were amazing, helping to make the day very special. We had members of your staff such as Julian helping with translations to non-english speaking guests, we had the night porter talking people through the history of the chamber at who knows what time in the morning and Hermione was a constant reassuring presence ensuring everything ran smoothly. I have no doubt that given the opportunity the other members of staff would have gone over and above too.

However an individual that stood out from our first moment in the Hotel was Laura. We had seen a few different venues all of a similar type and style. However, after meeting with Laura we both unanimously had decided that we would pick new hall, purely because of the impression Laura had left on us.

Laura is clearly very passionate about what she does and is a true asset to Hand Picked Hotels. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. She is clearly very methodical and structured in the way she works. But, she does all of this with an ability to maintain a friendly and personalised touch that your brand clearly prides itself on.

I am writing this email on behalf of my husband and I who got married on Fri 2nd August.

From the minute we booked our wedding with you everything has been just fantastic. Laura is very well organised and ensured every detail was discussed and our meetings with her helped to put my mind at ease as I knew we were in good hands.

Then to the day.......the only word I can use to describe it is ‘perfect’. Everything just ran so smoothly from the moment we arrived.
The food was absolutely delicious (we have had many compliments from our guests) huge thank you to the chef.
In terms of the staff on the day- all we can say is a huge ‘Thank you’. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and polite and were very professional at the same time.

Oh and we love our teddy that we get to keep with the personalised jumper!

As you can probably tell I could continue writing as there were just so many things that just made our day so special. So much so that when it was time to leave yesterday I became very emotional and shared a few tears however they were definitely tears of happiness.

I would say two particularly helpful points were the very thorough and regular questioning that guided us through the process, and your open day introduction to recommended suppliers - they were all superb!

Thanks so much to you and charlotte and the team for putting such an amazing experience together for us. People kept commenting how chilled out I seemed - but of course I knew everything was under control so there was no need to stress!

I would also just like to add that there is a great friendly atmosphere and attention to detail that is consistent throughout all your staff from the spa to the restaurant and reception - it is noticeable and much appreciated.
