Wedding Venues in Newbury

Rebecca and I wanted to have a small ceremony to legally marry prior to flying out to Lake Como to have our wedding with all of our friends. The setting was perfect and the team at Elcot Park were super flexible and helped make our special day run perfectly. Thank you!!

This is such a special place and a brilliant option for a ‘DIY’ wedding. Loads of outside space to do what you want with the site. Having close friends and family staying on site in the barns was so much fun. There is loads of space for a marquee and perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The barns themselves are beautiful, and we all loved being in the hot tubs. Danielle was fab and always responsive in the run up to the wedding answering any worries. On the weekend the on-site team were nearby and super helpful. We had the most amazing weekend and can’t wait to go back and stay in the barns for a holiday sometime

We fell in love with the idea of a tipi wedding as soon as we saw the tipis set up in the woodland of welford park in the sunshine. We loved the idea of an relaxed, outdoor venue with complete flexibility of suppliers and Forest Edge Tipis allowed us to do exactly that. Aimee’s communication was great and her help on the actual day was amazing. We 100% had the best day pf our lives and wouldn’t change a thing.

Great staff that accommodated all needs/request to provide a perfect day at an amazing venue. Photo opportunities were great and all our guests had an amazing day.

Amazing wedding day, spent with attentive staff, perfect setting for an up beat special day. The main restaurant was converted into a lush dedicated area for the wedding. Themed in purple lighting, ivory and a hint of silver sparkle Inside and outside areas available for photos Bespoke package made to suit budget and times of the day

Dear Nigel I would like you to know that we were absolutely delighted with the superb wedding celebration that Charlie and his team put on for us on Saturday. I cannot begin to tell you just how thrilled we were and how flawlessly everything went. The preparation was perfect, the service was outstanding, the food was delicious – what more can I say? Several people said to me that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. I know that Ian and Sarah were delighted too and will want to thank Charlie themselves, but I wanted you to know what a great asset you have there – you should be very proud of him. We stayed here at our Niece's wedding on a recent visit a few weeks ago. We were impressed from the outset. The staff were great and the facilities second to none........our Niece lives in the area and in the words of Arnie "we'll be back"

My daughter and her husband got married at Donnington Valley Hotel in June 2003. The day was a great success thanks to the efforts of all the dedicated staff at the hotel. Greens was a beautiful room for the reception - especially as we had a lovely day. Everything from the flowers to the napkins were perfect. The food was great and the service even better. The evening reception also went with a bang. More friends and family enjoyed us for a fun disco and more great food. The Cromwell Suite was ideal as we even had our own bar.

This was the most superb country location with spectacular modern landscaped garden - the water feature has won an award. The service from the minute you drive in until you leave is faultless. The food was exquisite and if you enjoy wine you will be in heaven. We were guests for lunch not a wedding, so am afraid that I can't review that, but if that day was anything to go by - you will not be dissapointed.
