The house and gardens are licensed to hold civil ceremonies, providing a breathtaking backdrop for your vows complete. Newington House also benefits from two historic churches close by in which you can hold your ceremony. St. Giles Church is just 50 metres from the house, and the impressive Dorchester Abbey is just 5 miles away. Wherever you choose to exchange vows, you will be welcomed by the friendly and professional staff afterwards for a drinks reception in the stunning grounds. Then, you can move on to your sumptuous wedding breakfast, provided by your choice of caterer. There is plenty of space within the grounds to erect a marquee or tipi to host an impressive celebration. We also offer intimate weddings for up to 50 guests inside the house.
