We have just got home from our weekend wedding at High Brockholme and I just don’t know where to start. Rachel, Alan, Heather, Jaz and Tony - what a family. THE funniest, most organised and yet relaxed family I have ever met. You made our weekend. The venue is honestly breath taking - every single detail is just flawless. The grounds are stunning and the onsite accommodation is as good as any hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you to the whole team, the memories of our wedding with you will last a life time x

Our wedding went off without a hitch. From tge moment the guests arrived to the moment they left, no-one asked us question, or was uncertain about anything, so we could enjoy every moment. The food was delicious, and everyone had plenty yo eat.

We were blown away by Sedgewell Barn as a wedding venue on our first visit there. The barns had everything we were looking for in a wedding venue and we loved the idea of glamping with family and friends before the wedding, giving us a full weekend of celebrations. We were Sedgewell Barn’s first ever wedding and we are so grateful to Catherine and Stuart for pulling out all the stops to ensure we had our dream day. Not only was the barn beautiful on the day, but Catherine and Ellen helped us plan a wedding in less than 6 months! They were able to recommend some fantastic suppliers and we’re so grateful that this part was made so easy for us, as we are aware of how stressful that could have been with our short timescales. Every one of these suppliers were fantastic on the day and we’d highly recommend them all to future couples at Sedgewell Barn. Sedgewell Barn’s blank canvas provided us with a unique opportunity to design our wedding exactly how we wanted. Catherine and Ellen supported all of our ideas and helped us finalise our timeline and coordinate suppliers. We filled the big barn with a race track and games, chose our own layout for our wedding breakfast, chose the chairs we liked, decorated the barn with waterfall fairy lights and even held a pub quiz! As the barns are so pretty as they are, we felt we needed to do very little to decorate them, saving us money and giving us more time to focus on other aspects of the wedding. The barns’ surroundings are incredibly picturesque and our photographer captured some beautiful photos in the cornfields. The courtyard was landscaped beautifully and made for a wonderful confetti reception and all of the facilities had been finished to a great standard including the bar. Sedgewell Barn’s location is incredibly serene which makes it perfect for such an intimate occasion. We could not be happier with how our wedding day went and we’re so grateful to everyone at Sedgewell Barn for helping us pull off our dream day!

22/07/2017 Bell We got married here on Saturday... What a place the room was 5* comfy and plenty of space. The decorations and layout was perfect not one problem or piece out of place. beautiful outside area and kids play area. The hotel staff were all amazing and always there to help .Food was amazing too . Most of all the duty manager (event organizer ) Louise was amazing supportive and made everything happen as and when . She was there every time we turned round never stopped all day made everyone feel welcome. She put 110% into everything and went the extra mile to make our day her min by min planning is 5*. I would recommend the venue and planning to anyone 100% happy and will miss dealing with Louise thank you

I can't put into words how amazing our time here has been. We got married on Saturday and had our reception in the hall which looked so beautiful. This venue was everything we had dreamed of and more. The whole team has gone above and beyond to make our stay here totally amazing. Everyone has said how amazing it is here and have thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Thank you for everything you have done to make our day perfect. Holly, Jess and Phill you are fantastic!

I would like to thank all the staff for the wonderful wedding reception, which was held for my daughter last Sturday. We could not have chosen anywhere better to celebrate such an inmportant occasion.
