It is a shame this lovely place had been abandoned with everything left inside, surely someone must own this beautiful place

We were very impressed with the helpful and friendly manner in which this hotel acomodated us and our guests at our recent wedding. As well as supporting us through the organisation of the day, they also catered for some of our unusual requests and could not have been nicer!

All our guests commented on their comfortable rooms and the quality of the food. We would like to say that if we were ever to get married again, we would do it here!

The first thing you notice when you come up the driveway is a beautiful building in beautiful surroundings, and you feel the same when you step inside and see the gorgeous sweeping staircase in front of you. The hotel is styled to fit it''s surroundings and when you walk into the bar and garden suite with it''s large windows with stained glass panes it is breathtaking.
But the thing that really sets the venue off is the staff.
From the moment we fisrt booked our wedding, Dot the events co-ordinator was amazing, keeping in touch every step of the way and being available for a coffee to put my mind at ease with even the smallest details, right up until the day. On the day, Dot was on hand with Charles the general manager and both ensured that the day ran smoothly, even finding extra chairs and table settings at the very last minute. But all of the staff were excellent, from the lovely friendly faces on reception to those serving on the bar and in the restaurant. The food was wonderful and plentiful, even though we had a number of unexpected guests they all still were well fed.
The reception room was large and airy and beautifully decorated down to the last detail.
The bedrooms were spacious and clean and the newly decorated bridal suite was very special. The housekeeping staff were very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed to get ready.

There is just no part of the experience at Northop Hall that I could fault. It is very easy to find from the main roads and well signposted and there is plenty of car parking, with disabled parking directly in front of the venue.
The grounds are gorgeous and well kept, perfect for the photographs.

It is a venue I would recommend to anyone for any occasion!

We recently held our wedding reception at this hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with the facilities and service we received. The hotel lends itself perfectly as a wedding venue with beautifully kept gardens, tree-lined views, a good number of guest bedrooms and a feature staircase perfect for indoor photos. The layout of the rooms is excellent with an atmospheric bar ideally situated next to both the wedding reception suite and the front gardens that afford a great seating area for summertime drinks. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who provided a most professional service throughout the day. The food was excellent, the tables perfectly laid, and the service fast and efficient. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I have to admit, we were a little apprehensive throughout the planning stage as there was some lack of attention to detail in the paperwork, but don’t let this put you off – the final product was a fantastic day had by all that went without a single hitch. We highly recommend this hotel as wedding venue.

our wedding was at the end of november, so we had a christmassy style garland on the staircase and the fires burning.... it was gorgeous! The staff were great, and the food was lovely. definatly worth look.
