Truly a hidden gem, Staff were amazing throughout the whole process and couldn’t do enough for the both of us on our wedding day.

The Bosk is a beautiful venue in the middle of the Cheviots so you are surrounded by hills and trees. We rented all the cottages for our guests so our wedding party completely took over the site, everyone commented on how lovely the cottages were. For the wedding itself, the Kim and Jess were amazing making sure everything was exactly to our taste. They adapted the menu for our guests and made the whole thing feel truly unique and a reflection of us as a couple.

We got married at the treehouse in October 2023. We booked in February 2023 and were pleased to find there was some availability. Communication was excellent from the beginning, and emails and calls nearer to the wedding were fantastic – especially with regards to the storm, which was obviously on our minds. I can’t speak highly enough of the experience that we, and our guests, had on our wedding day. The team really understood the vision for our Autumn wedding and worked with our other suppliers to create this. On arrival, the venue looked magical and you could tell the staff had put so much work into the decoration, including all the personal touches we asked them to include. Due to the storm, the staff had to be flexible and move around several elements of the ceremony and set-up, but communication was excellent and we were updated regularly about any changes. The day ran smoothly and there was great communication from start to finish, alongside a team of staff who were helpful, friendly and professional; even going out of their way to help us set up our wedding cake and being super patient with some of our elderly guests. Food and drink were excellent and proved to be very good value for money, providing substantial portions and good quality ingredients. The planning team were in contact regularly and had a good deal of knowledge about what works at this particular venue, making adaptations and additions to support our vision. They worked well with all our other suppliers, who have all been complimentary about the team at The Treehouse. For a small-ish wedding of 40-60 people, the Treehouse is an ideal venue and I would absolutely recommend. It is beautiful, both inside and out, and needs very little decoration in order to be a completely magical place, however the team worked closely with us to decorate and add personal touches to make the day truly special.

The venue is an enchanting, rustic and beautiful hidden gem we loved that there was somewhere for all our guests young and old to be either dancing, chatting to each other or at the bar or enjoying the sun on the terrace. Also it was important for us to have our little westie there who loved wandering around like she owned the place. Rebecca is amazing and her team provide the best service with a smile, there was nothing we would have changed

The venue, the location was just amazing. A wedding for just the two of us plus our boys, we couldn’t of asked for more, everyone there were so helpful in making our day exactly how we wanted it

We had our wedding reception at the Pavilion in October with 80 guests and the whole event was amazing and hassle free thanks to Tracy and the team. The venue was magical, twinkly and a bit of a show stopper when people arrive and see the cascade! It’s the perfect backdrop to have photos and you don’t need to be miles away from your guests to get some incredible photos. Tracy did a beautiful job of setting out our DIY decor, but the room was so lovely and magical all on its own too. All the staff were fantastic and nothing felt like a hassle, it just happened as planned and we had the most brilliant time eating and dancing while it all happened in the background - exactly what you want. The food was also great and a number of guests commented on how good it was. We can’t recommend this venue enough, very reasonably priced too for such a unique and special location. We just wish we could do it again!

We recently got married at the hotel and it was beyond our expectations. There was moments during the organisation that we felt a little nervous our day would not go ahead with covid and also with the hotel changing hands. However, all of our concerns were soon put aside and we could not have been happier with our special day. Some of our guests arrived on the Friday evening and we were welcomed by very friendly and professional staff. We had dinner in a private dinning area which was lovely. On the big day we had exclusivity of the hotel for the rest of our guests to join. The bridal party got ready in the bridal suite which is beautiful and very spacious. The day went as planned with the hotel staff, especially Joanna and James, were excellent and kept everything in order on the day. Anything we asked was not a problem for them. The food was first class and the wedding room was stunning. We could not recommended this hotel enough. It really was the best day of our lives and we could not have done it without the help of all the staff at the hotel. The newly refurbished bedrooms and public areas are amazing and could not be faulted. All of our guests had the best time. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful after refurb. The wedding of my daughter was last weekend (10th August) the weather was atrocious, Pat, Sarah and staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, Pat rounded up the locals to get as many guests to the venue as possible, Sarah was giving alternative directions, staff were being so supportive. Due to all their efforts what could have been a disaster turned out to be a brilliant day. The venue is superb with everything you need plus more. The barn is totally amazing and has to be seen to be believed!

We held our wedding reception in a marquee in the grounds of the Mill in September and we stayed in the Mill itself for a few days before and afterwards. It was nothing short of perfect. The Mill is a beautiful home and the grounds are equally impressive. The house was immaculate and had everything we could’ve wanted; there was even a basket of pastries waiting when we arrived. Elizabeth and Rob are wonderful hosts. Attentive and great company, while allowing you space to feel at home. The Mill has been beautifully refurbished. All of the rooms are perfectly put together, but the dining room really stands out. It’s obvious how much Rob and Elizabeth care about the Mill. We chose to have one of the most special days of our lives at the Mill because, not only is it a truly beautiful, private and unique venue, but also we knew Elizabeth and Rob would care about the day as much as we did. As soon as we can, we’ll find a reason to get back to the Mill.

My husband and I got married at Charlton Hall on Saturday. What can I say, the staff especially David and Esme went above and beyond to make our day so special. It was everything we wanted and more. The owner Richard and his whole family made sure everything was ready on time, we really appreciate the work they put in. Charlton Hall is going to be the wedding venue all others aspire to.
