Facilities and Capacity

With a selection of spectacular spaces available, Norton Grounds is available for exclusive 3 night stay allowing you to have time to set up and enjoy the day and relax after. The capacity to cater for weddings with between 120 and 250 guests. There are a number of different ceremony and reception options available. The 18th-century Thrashing Barn is a warm and inviting space that can host both ceremonies and receptions. This lovingly restored 18th-century barn boasts lovely timber cladding, a high tin roof, and warm lighting, giving it a rustic but modern feel. The barn can accommodate 150 standing guests and 120 seated. Adjacent to the Thrashing Barn is The Cow Shed, a chic industrial space which can be used as a dancefloor and bar area for larger weddings. Alternatively, couples can host their receptions with up to 150 guests here. Elsewhere, the manicured lawns provide a fantastic outdoor option for exchanging vows. Seating can be arranged on the grass where the landscaped grounds and picturesque countryside provide an idyllic backdrop for ceremonies and wedding photos. A Marquee can be erected on the lawn for larger weddings with up to 250 guests.

Services Offered

Norton Grounds offers a range of services and only host a limited number per year so that we can tailor to the couples needs. A wedding coordinator is available to ensure each couple's special day runs smoothly. Accommodation is available onsite for up to 20 guests. Outside vendors are welcome and the team can provide a list of trusted local suppliers if needed. The team can also provide set up, clean up, and security for the celebration. The venue has an entertainment license and there are live band, DJ, and bar facilities onsite. There is also a helipad so couples can make a dramatic entrance, confetti is permitted, and the property is pet friendly. The hidden gem is easily accessible, has good disabled facilities, and plenty of parking for guests.
