Norwood Hall Hotel is a large hotel wedding venue in Aberdeen, Scotland. This fine Victorian mansion was built on the site of Pitfodels Castle, one of the former holdings of Clan Menzies. The castle was abandoned in the 17th century; work on Norwood Hall was completed in 1881. The hotel is conveniently located only a short drive from Aberdeen’s city centre. The hall is set amidst seven acres of secluded woodlands. The property features magnificent landscaped gardens and grounds, and the main building is approached by a lovely tree-lined avenue. The venue affords breathtaking views of the Scottish countryside and award-winning managers offer friendly service and hospitality that are second to none.

Visitors to Norwood Hall Hotel will immediately be struck by its sweeping staircase, corniced ceilings, rich wood panelling, and ornate fireplaces with roaring log fires. The hall is licensed for civil ceremonies, and it hosts ceremonies and receptions of up to 200 people. You can stage your ceremony on the lawn or in the stunning Pitfodels Suite, which features a dance floor and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gardens. Norwood Hall’s elegant library can accommodate up to 20 people and is a perfect setting for more intimate celebrations. The venue also has 73 bedrooms, including standard doubles, deluxe doubles, accessible doubles, and super deluxe options.

Services Offered

Norwood Hall Hotel is available for exclusive hire, and it hosts no more than one wedding per day. In-house catering is provided, and you are invited to select from a range of delicious buffet and seated meal options.
