My husband and I cannot thank Kate and John enough for their incredible support and flexibility throughout our wedding planning. Their professionalism made the entire process seamless, and I’m especially grateful to Kate for her invaluable guidance. The venue itself is stunning and offers great value for money. The food was amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop praising how beautiful everything was. Everyone agreed it’s a hidden gem in Croydon! It was also a bonus that our hairdresser, makeup artist, photographer, and DJ were all familiar with the venue, which contributed to a smooth and timely flow for the entire day.

We were not looking forward to the viewings of wedding venues - but we only viewed Oaks Farm and it was perfect for what wanted.
Katie and John were great from the first time we met to the last time we saw them the day after the wedding.
We used the catering provided (10 flavours) who were great, Jodie was great and very helpful and understanding with last minute changes to the menu.
We used the barn for our service and then the rest of the venue for the reception, sit down meal and party.

We had a little cottage we stayed in the night of the wedding and the groom was able to get changed there beforehand also.


We would highly recommend Oaks Farm to anyone looking for a venue that has everything in one place.

Only cons we had was the noise restriction for the DJ and the end time of the event was 11pm on the dot.
Other than that we had an amazing time.

We got married in September at Oaks Farm, from the moment we booked we knew we had the chosen the right location and people to host our wedding.
The detail in which your day was planned and the professional yet friendly atmosphere from the whole team really made us happy.
It rained the whole day which meant we didn’t get the outdoor ceremony we had hoped for but we had help keeping everyone dry for photos and getting to the chapel it didn’t even matter.
I’d highly recommend Oaks Farm and I wish I could do the whole day again!

We spent a whole weekend visiting different venues back to back and none felt right for us. We then got recommended Oaks Farm from a caterer who works closely with Oaks Farm so we decided to check it out and as soon as we saw it we knew this was the place for us.
From beginning to end it was the most amazing & smooth sailing experience which is what you need when planning a wedding.
Katie and John were great and communication was 10/10 I could not fault them at all. They we're great at allowing us to come in (with notice) during the lead up to have a look around again and finalise little bits and pieces.
If you do book this venue we would honestly also recommend using their recommended supplier "For Ya Party" who done an exceptional job with the decor.
We honestly could not have asked for a better experience with Oaks Farm.
On the day we felt everything went to plan and our guests LOVEDDDDD the venue it was just the perfect day and to end what was a great day we loved that we could stay on site in the cottage.

Oaks Farm have been incredible from start to finish. From the moment we knew this was the venue for us until the day after the wedding itself they have been so well organised and professional every step of the way. Needless to say we couldnt have had the day we had without them. This is such a gorgeous venue in the heart of Croydon with great connections to London and beyond. John was there the whole time making sure everything ran so smoothly on the day. There were moments where the stress of planning would get to us but John and Katie had such a calming effect on us that it really helped reassure and give us peace of mind that all was in hand and the day went brilliantly. They were also incredibly flexible and dealt with changes so well that we simply could not have asked for a better wedding venue or team and it was so lovely to share such a beautiful day with our friends and family all of whom were so impressed by the beautiful surrounding scenery and the decor and detail of this lovely venue. Equipped to have quite a decent sized wedding but also felt it could pull off a more intimate wedding which is something we were going for despite the guest list of 80+. What also helped was the recomended suppliers they use (caterers, DJ, photobooth etc.) are all so professional and know the venue so well that everything just ran so smoothly and like clockwork it all fell in to place. In fact there were times even at the end of the night where our guests needed some help and this was something that was beyond the call of duty for the team at the venue but they were more than happy to help. We found this to be incredible and really show how much they would go the extra mile to help make the day what it was. We can't thank Oaks Farm enough for eveything and would joke that we wish we could get married again just so we could get to use them once more! We are eternally grateful to them for helping make this day one we will take with us forever.

We got married at Oaks farm on 18/11/23, and what a day! We were originally supposed to tie the knot in 2020 but due to Covid we postponed. We came across oaks farm and thought, wow! The venue is everything we could have imagined and more. Katie and John were so helpful throughout the build up to the wedding, and the whole day when it came was perfect. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had. The venue is family run and the attention to detail in outstanding. We loved that everything was all in the same place, this made it very personal for us. Our overnight stay was included in the cottage with a breakfast hamper which was divine. All of our guests loved every minute, the location and the staff were just great. Do not hesitate to book oaks farm for your wedding you will not be disappointed. We are so glad we chose to get married at oaks farm and are so grateful for the team especially Katie and John for making our wedding perfect. We wish we could do it all over again! X

When my husband and I first saw the venue, we immediately knew that we wanted to get married there. Tucked away in Shirley, it is a stunning place and conveniently allows you to have both your ceremony and reception all in one place. The team at Oaks Farm gives you anything that you can need to plan your day from the very beginning - their website is full of potential timelines for the day, templates for the tables, vendors and even items that they are able to lend you on the day like easels, cake stands and cake knifes. The venue is by nature standalone beautiful so it doesn't need much decoration to make it look absolutely magical. The grounds are kept immaculate and for October they were as green as it gets. On top of that, there is a cottage you can stay at on site which made our post-wedding walk a very short one, and our morning of very easy as they kindly left us a delicious breakfast. A big pull for us was that Oaks Farm is a dog friendly venue, and we got to enjoy our beautiful day as a family of three with no issues. John and Katie - you were absolutely incredible from early beginning of wedding planning to the day of when you had to help us sort last-minute issues and we cannot thank you enough.

We had the best day ever. The whole process from booking to the wedding day was relaxed and efficient. It could not have gone any better and all those that attended the wedding commented on how relaxed and enjoyable it was and that the team could not do enough for us or our guests. Highly recommend.

Emails and phone calls were answered promptly and we had many visits to Oaks Farm before hand to chat with Katie about our big day.

The venue is absolutely stunning all our guest commented on how beautiful and relaxed the venue was.
The cottage is beautiful and lovely for getting ready photos.
We used 10Flavours catering and the staff were so polite, the food was lovely the staff came and found us while having our photos taken to ask if we needed drinks and they saved us canapés.

They is not one thing I could fault - the whole day was perfect.

I would recommend Oaks Farm for your wedding or special occasion.

Took away the pre-paid alcohol after the meal with little warning, with immediate effect, and aggressively pursued the policy for people who had picked up a bottle of wine, to finish it. I appreciate that the venue wants to make more profit, but it could have been done in an infinitely better way, and with a more responsive/adaptive approach. The staff/managers were rude.

Oaks Farm is a beautiful wedding venue, the grounds are pristine and well looked after. All of our guests and suppliers were in awe of how lovely the venue looked. The owners John and Katie were warm and approachable and always emailed us back promptly and were very helpful at answering our questions no matter how small. We were able to visit the venue as many times as we liked with family and suppliers to show them around and again John and Katie were never too far if we needed to speak to them. The venue has plenty of places to take beautiful photos and the Barn had an intimate and cosy feel for our wedding breakfast with our guests. We feel very lucky to have been able to book our special day at Oaks Farm Wedding venue and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else for any function.
