About
Welcome to Old Billingsgate, a breathtaking wedding venue located in the heart of Central London. This historical Victorian-era structure was a fish market, running up until 1982. It underwent a transformation under the careful eye of an architect, Lord Richard Rodgers; it has gone from being one of the 19th century's largest fish markets to a premier event space. Its rich history will certainly add to the ambience of your special day. Encompassing three versatile event spaces and boasting unparalleled views of the famous Tower Bridge, London Bridge, and The Shard, it is a truly unique space.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can choose from three of the incredible event spaces within Old Billingsgate. The Grand Hall is the largest of the spaces, boasting a wide open, blank canvas space with the capacity to host up to 1,800 guests for a traditional seated banquet. The skylight ceiling and triple-height ceiling create a beautifully lit atmosphere. The Gallery, with its warehouse-style shape and arching white beams, is a unique space offering a bright and airy location for your reception celebration. The Gallery can host up to 250 guests. Finally, the Vault provides a more cavernous-style space, lying beneath the banks of the Thames. The exposed brickwork and vaulted ceilings give the space a more medieval vibe compared to the other more modern rooms. With the capacity to host up to 600 guests, celebrate your love underneath the bustling city.
