The Old Nunnery is an exclusive use seafront venue sitting on the scenic river Clyde in Ayrshire. It is suitable for micro and intimate weddings of up to 30 guests. Mingle with your closest friends and family the night before your wedding and have a relaxed complimentary dinner. Chill out before the big day in hot tubs and detox in the steam room, your private thermal suite. End your wedding celebrations with relaxing Sunday massages and brunch.

Our "Mother Superior" wedding package really is quite superior. It includes the following for 30 guests: exclusive use of the 14-bedroomed venue and spa facilities for three nights (Friday until Monday) or 2 nights on Tuesday to Thursday. You also get the following services included.

• Unpacking, storage, and refrigeration of the drinks you have delivered to the venue
• Welcome hot fork buffet and clear up on arrival day, served 7pm to 8pm
• Bar services for the night before the wedding (5:30pm to 10pm) and the day of the wedding from 2pm to midnight.
• Canapés served with drinks at the reception
• Light, informal continental wedding day breakfast buffet served in the kitchen from 9am to 10am
• Canapés after the wedding ceremony and your own wine served to guests
• Three-course wedding meal with choice of 2 for each course
• Gold candelabra centrepieces and LED candles
• Use of the wedding arch, thrones, and chairs
• A member of staff is present on the day to ensure everything is set up correctly and runs smoothly

Outside ceremonies are possible.

Prices typically are around £270pp for a 3-night stay per guest (assuming 28 attend), including the wedding and all of the above or £200pp for winter weekends and midweek weddings throughout the year (assuming 24 guests).
