From the initial itinerary meetings, to answering questions throughout the planning process and then on our big day, nothing was too much to ask, and the team really ensured that the whole day was smooth running and exactly as we wanted it to be.
The drive up to Orchardleigh, the house and the gardens are like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Our guests even mentioned on the day just how spectacular it was ‘It’s like Bridgerton!’ The 3 day package was absolutely incredible and really helped us to make the most of celebrating our wedding with our family and friends. Orchardleigh’s team go above and beyond and there really is no more beautiful setting to get married than here. There was no stress in the planning process and everything went perfectly to plan on the day, and that’s all thanks to the wonderful people behind the scenes. Thank you, our wedding day was truely the most incredible day of our lives.

Rachel & her team provided us the best day of our life’s. They are professional, kind & welcomed us with warm arms. They went up and beyond to make our day so special. The food was spectacular and great quality. I would highly recommend Orchardleigh house great Valley for money and setting. We was able to take our dog Louis who loved the surroundings. Stunning, fairytale wedding venue. The 3 day package was excellent and Anne-Marie made sure everything ran smoothly on the day! We feel very lucky to have got married in such a beautiful place.

At first, my partner and I were impressed by Orchard Leigh Estate during our initial visit. However, this quickly changed once we paid our deposit. From that point on, the service completely deteriorated. We were handed a mountain of paperwork with minimal guidance, leaving us to navigate the process alone. While we understand that planning a wedding involves details, we felt as if our role had shifted from clients to mere numbers.

Communication was extremely poor. Despite numerous emails, they consistently addressed me by the wrong name—calling me Richard instead. Aside from payment requests, it was near impossible to get a response or any meaningful engagement from their team. This lack of professionalism led us to cancel our wedding. As a result, we lost around £2,000, despite our efforts to request a partial refund through a polite, well-worded complaint, which was entirely ignored.

Since canceling, we’ve visited other venues and spoken with experienced wedding coordinators. To our surprise, several of them openly frowned upon hearing that we had considered Orchard Leigh, with some even stating that they refuse to assist clients who choose to get married there due to the venue’s reputation. That alone speaks volumes about their standing in the industry.

In summary, we feel we were sold a dream during our initial consultation, but once the deposit was paid, that dream quickly turned into a nightmare. Losing £2,000 is not just frustrating; it’s a lesson we hope other couples won’t have to learn.

Please do your research thoroughly before booking with Orchard Leigh Estate. We sincerely hope others avoid the disappointment and financial loss we experienced.

Truly amazing day. We were well looked after.

This wedding venue could not be more perfect. The beautiful island church was the perfect location for our wedding ceremony, and this was followed by reception drinks and Canapés on the lawn which was beautiful given the sunny weather. The wedding breakfast was incredible- not only in quality but also quantity. And our wedding coordinator Annamarie made sure everything went as smoothly as possible and just as we wanted.

We booked Orchardleigh House for our wedding with 2 years' notice. Over that time they were always quick with communications and we were left with the feeling that we were in safe hands.

Our coordinator was Heather and she was both helpful and accommodating, even to more unusual requests from us. On the day, either she or a member of staff was always present to make sure the bride and groom were comfortable and to help with any issues.

Orchardleigh House itself is an incredible venue, with a very Downton Abbey-feel to it that left guests extremely impressed. The restaurant on the grounds offers a great place to eat the night before the wedding and the boat house provided afterwards is relaxing and quiet. While our stay there was not perfect, we feel it would be unfair to mark it against Orchardleigh in this review as any issues we experienced were not necessarily due to them.

The staff at Orchardleigh are incredible, they were all extremely polite, well-mannered, and efficient. A special mention to the head chef, Karl, and the kitchen staff who absolutely nailed every aspect of the catering from the canapes to the evening buffet; everything was timely and everything was delicious. The rooms were immaculate and the housekeeping staff were kind enough to distribute our home-made hangover kits to each door before guests retired for the evening.

In all we would not hesitate to recommend Orchardleigh to couples looking for their venue.

We had a fantastic day at Orchardleigh estate! The venue is beautiful and we had no problems whatsoever with the accommodation, logistics, food or staff on the day. Our guests had a thoroughly good time and Heather was always on hand to ensure we kept to time as much as possible to ensure we got all our must have photos in. Thank you to Heather and all of her staff for making our day so special and for all your help with my many, many questions in preparation for our big day! We will treasure the memories! This venue truly has it all. From the moment we were shown around the venue last year by Claire we fell in love. Our day was made so special by Phoebe and the rest of the staff where nothing was too much trouble for them. We had our day on a Friday in January and we were so lucky with the weather, however we viewed the venue on a cold wintry day and it looked just as spectacular.
All the guests praised the staff, food and the venue so much it really made our day. If you're after a wow factor venue that has amazing food, drink, accommodation and caters to your every need this is the place for you. Cannot recommend Orchardleigh enough.

We had an amazing wedding day at Orchardleigh walled garden. The staff were amazing and did absolutely everything to make our special day perfect. A huge thank you to Carl for organising our day and to Jacqui and Nic in the office for ensuring our day went smoothly. We both couldn’t have asked for a more magical day!

We got married in The Walled Garden at the end of August, and just wanted to say what a fantastic day it was! The venue is beautiful and the food was superb. We had a surprise helicopter ride, organised by my father and it just topped off an already incredible day! The staff were all very helpful and professional and our wedding coordinator oversaw everything to make sure the day ran smoothly so that we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones! A fabulous venue in a beautiful setting!

Just wanted to say a long overdue Thank You to you and the team at Orchardleigh for helping us host our wonderful wedding on 30th September 2017. We completely fell in love with Orchardleigh from when we first visited in 2016, as it had everything we had dreamed of for our ideal wedding venue and you both were so kind, informative and efficient at helping us with all of our plans! We could not have been happier with the service we received.

My husband and I married at Orchardleigh in January last year and I know that it is incredibly cliché, but I can honestly say it was the best day of our lives! Orchardleigh is such a truly magical place and we fell in love with stunning House and breathtaking grounds as soon as we arrived on our very first viewing and just knew it was the venue for us! Right from our very first viewing the staff at Orchardleigh were so helpful and friendly, guiding us through the Wedding planning process, right up to our Big Day. On the day of our Wedding, the staff really excelled themselves. Our coordinator was absolutely fantastic and everything ran so beautifully with absolutely no little hiccups at all (well if there were we certainly weren't aware of them!). The Waiting and Bar staff were fantastic - very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble – plus they always ensured we had a full glass! Almost a year on and our guests still regularly talk of our Wedding Day and often tell us it was the best Wedding that they have ever been too - which is such a wonderful thing to hear and true testimony to the staff at Orchardleigh! We are incredibly grateful to all of the staff at Orchardleigh for making our Wedding Day so utterly magical and truly perfect!
