Located in Twickenham, Middlesex, Orleans House Gallery provides the peace of the countryside within an urban landscape for an unforgettable wedding venue. This estate sits on magical woodlands and overlooks the beautiful river Thames between Richmond and Twickenham. It offers easy access to Heathrow and central London.
Facilities and Capacity
Orleans House Gallery offers a variety of event spaces where you can celebrate your day. The stunningly restored Octagon room is full of character and has a rich history. It dates back to 1721, when it was built to entertain Queen Caroline, wife of George II. The space can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests for your ceremony. The public gardens leading from the room are the perfect place to host your post-ceremony drinks reception. Your guests will also be able to make the most of the unique venue. They're encouraged to stroll around the grounds and explore the gallery exhibitions when they arrive. If you are looking for a more intimate lunch or afternoon tea party to celebrate your day, the Coach House can host up to 60 guests. There are plenty of beautiful reception venues along the river for larger celebrations. You're invited to catch a boat from the wonderfully quaint pier, situated just minutes walk from the gallery to your evening celebrations.
If you are looking for an extra unique way to celebrate, enquire about the limited dates available each year for full ceremony and reception packages, using the gallery's courtyard and Coach House spaces for an indoor/outdoor evening experience for up to 80 guests.

Absolutely stunning venue with fantastic staff!
Can’t thank Beverley, Kinga, Phillipa, and all the wonderful team at Orleans gallery enough for making everything so seamless and easy. An already stunning venue is complimented by dedicated and detail orientated staff. We had a huge thunderstorm on the day of our wedding and the team went out of their way to make sure we didn’t even notice the rain! My guests were blown away with the beauty and we loved every second. Thank you so much!

The perfect place to get married!
We were married at Orleans House Gallery in August 2024.
From booking the venue, the process felt smooth and well managed. We first had contact with Beverley who discussed the terms of the booking and sent us all information we could need about the venue and how the day would run. She always responded quickly to correspondence and was very accommodating when our plans changed slightly. We then had contact with Kinga ahead of the day who really put us at ease, and answered all final questions we had, guiding us through the plan for the day. And on the wedding day itself we were looked after by Lesley who could not have done more to assist us. She was extremely organised and managed everyone really well. She was kind and efficient and we felt very looked after.
The venue itself was stunning and our guests were in awe of the grandness and beauty. Having a smaller ceremony meant it felt really personal and intimate, and we had a lot of lovely feedback on that. We were able to tailor a ceremony that really reflected us, whilst holding it in a stunning setting.
We would not have changed a thing and had the best day ever. We are just sad we can’t do it again!
Thank you to all the staff that helped us along the way, it was a day we will never forget.

Helping us have the most beautiful day
The team of Orleans House Gallery was fantastic and so helpful! On booking we had a lot of questions and Beverley went above and beyond to support our process and explain what we need. On the day Lesley was more than a family member to us. Supporting with making sure everything went smoothly and according to our plans. Our family and friends had the best time and we couldn’t have done it without the team amazing support! This beautiful venue was everything we wanted to have a wonderful day.

Fabulous day and Fairy tale experience
We are so happy we decided to celebrate our special day in the stunning Orleans House Gallery venue which ended up being a memorable and intimate event for us. Charlotte was very helpful when we first contacted the team couple of months before prior to our event and she was instrumental in arranging everything as per our wish leading up to our big day. Regardless of the stream on inquiries from us, we thoroughly appreciated the patience and prompt responses from the team which made it ever so easier to plan the event and more importantly build the confidence that everything will be delivered from the support of the team on the day.
On the day, we were so happy with how everything was laid out for us; we were particularly thankful to Val (our coordinator on the day) who ensured everything went smoothly during the ceremony and she was pivotal in making the whole experience stress free for us the newly weds but also build a joyful atmosphere for the guests. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
As for the venue itself, it is absolutely elegant and magical. It is the perfect setting for royal experience and pictures. It truly did ooze with class and our guests were genuinely amazed by visual treat from the interior designs and incoming natural light which made it a delightful experience. Our event happened in September and it was perfect for outdoor pictures with the natural trees as backdrop.
It was a breath taking day and I would highly recommend the venue not only because of the stunning venue, but also because of the outstanding, professional and dedicated team that will guarantee to make it the best day. Couldn't be happier!
We got married here in July 2023 and blew our guests away with the beautiful venue. It was perfect for our intimate wedding and we were able to stay at the venue to host a champagne reception afterwards which was lovely (and no corkage fee was especially fantastic!). Everyone was very helpful in the lead up and on the day and couldn't be happier with our venue choice.

What a venue!
We honestly had the most seamless experience chatting to Charlotte and Beverley before the big day, they were attentive, supportive and really helpful! Everything ran like clockwork on the day and Leslie is AMAZING, she was so calm and composed and told us all what to do in such a lovely manner. Couldnt recommend the team more, honestly amazing and the WOW factor from the venue is just another plus!

Still on cloud nine
We're still on cloud nine from our Wedding at Orleans House Gallery last month (April 2023). I fell in love with the Octagon Room having come across it while on a day out, and it was a game changer for our ceremony. Suddenly everything became more magical and we are so happy we met Charlotte, Lesley, Beverly and the team. It's a very special place to get married and the whole morning went smoothly thanks to everyone involved. All our guests were blown away by the stunning room and location. We had a champagne reception following the ceremony with speeches and photos. Just perfect.

A beautiful location with the most wonderful staff
We are so happy to have picked Orleans House Gallery to hold our wedding ceremony and could not have imagined a more beautiful venue. The Octagon Room and the surrounding gardens are absolutely beautiful! All of our guests commented how beautiful the location was and it felt like a wonderful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of London. We picked Orleans House because we loved the ceremony room and wanted a beautiful indoor location with lots of light - it was perfect! But beyond the lovely location, the thoughtfulness and dedication of all the staff really stood out to us. Charlotte and Beverley were a dream to work with leading up to the day and were always available to answer to even the smallest question. They were incredibly accommodating to all our requests, such managing the drop-off of all our supplies for our drinks reception, and letting us arrive super early to the venue to take photos beforehand. Lesley made sure every detail of our ceremony and drinks reception went smoothly and was extremely attentive to every detail - even making sure my veil and train were perfectly arranged for the confetti throw! We appreciated all these details so much and could not recommend this venue more highly. Thank you to everyone at Orleans House Gallery for such a perfect day!

The Perfect Venue!
We were incredibly lucky to have our wedding ceremony at Orleans House Gallery. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, steeped in history and in beautiful surroundings.
What made it even more special was the amazing staff doing all the magic behind the scenes. The whole team were absolutely brilliant in their support on the day but also in the run-up to our day. They are professional, friendly, genuine and punctual. Overall, excellent event organisers. I couldn't recommend them and this venue more highly!

Perfect wedding ceremony
We got married in the Octagon Room at Orleans House Gallery last weekend and I could not recommend it more. It was the perfect venue for us, the room is beautiful with so much natural light shining in on the period decor. It was the most stunning place for us to be married. We had drinks and nibbles afterwards outside under the trees which again was just perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly from start to finish. It really is the most stunning venue.

Beautiful venue
We recently had our ceremony at Orleans House Gallery, followed by a drinks and canape reception in the gardens, and a tea ceremony.
The venue is beautiful, with stunning big windows that bring in lots of natural light. We couldn't have chosen the more perfect venue.
Charlotte, the venue organiser, was fab - she helped us change our date (we had to postpone due to Covid) and answered all of our (many) questions ahead of the big day.
Leslie, the venue co-ordinator on the day, was amazing - she put a lot of care into ensuring everything went to plan and really made it a stress-free experience for us.

The perfect venue for a small/medium wedding!
We got married at Orleans House gallery with 40 of our closest family and friends in September 2021 and it was the most perfect venue. Charlotte (venue organizer) and Leslie (wedding attendant) were both absolutely lovely and extremely helpful, exactly the kind of people you need for your big day! The venue is stunning both inside and out with impressive interior features and huge windows onto the beautiful gardens and woods. We couldn't recommend it more highly!

Just perfect
Orleans house gallery is such a beautiful venue, and the space was perfectly suited to host our small ceremony of 12 guests. The whole place is very special and everyone was blown away by its elegance. Charlotte was lovely to communicate with, very reassuring and supportive during what wasn’t the most straight forward time to be getting married. Despite this, the team and Leslie in were just wonderful and the day went so smoothly. We just loved every minute, we can’t thank them enough! If you’re thinking of having your wedding here, you won’t be disappointed.
