Oxleaze Barn is a beautifully restored, exclusive-use Cotswold stone barn, that oozes timeless charm and character. Comprising of two original adjoining barns set in a walled courtyard garden, at the heart of an organic family-run farm.

Your day at Oxleaze...

Oxleaze Barn and the adjoining Milling Barn provide an atmospheric and authentic space to host an elegant wedding with your loved ones. With beams dating back to 1702, the Milling Barn features a private courtyard entrance and is a unique, characterful ceremony space for up to 100 guests.

The Main Barn, with a stunning fireplace and majestic oak beams, can seat up to 120 guests for the wedding breakfast.

Bi-fold doors open onto the manicured courtyard garden, which is perfect for an outside ceremony, drinks reception and family photos.

For a wilder touch, our pretty WedShed at the top of the grassy meadow is also licensed for ceremonies and has breathtaking views over the Cotswold countryside beyond.

Come twilight, the Milling Barn transforms into a vibrant party space, revealing our hidden vintage bar. With your choice of a live band or DJ, you and your guests can dance the night away.

Pretty festoons light the courtyard, adding more magic to the evening. Watch your guests enjoy toasting marshmallows over the open firepit while feasting on late-night snacks and sipping artisan cocktails.

As the evening winds down, your wedding at Oxleaze includes our on-site accommodation, which accommodates 12 guests spread over three self-catering cottages, including a newlywed couple's cosy nest in the Dutch barn.

Once you fall in love with this venue, your event will be in the talented hands of the in-house event management team. They have ample experience working with couples to bring their wedding vision to life. They can introduce you to their catering team, Ross and Ross Events and some of their trusted suppliers. Oxleaze Barn also offers unique props for hire, including vintage love letters and other charming decorations. Optional add-on experiences include photography sessions in the picturesque private gardens and a vintage tractor ride.

Incredible barn venue

We had the most perfect day celebrating our wedding last Thursday.
Charlotte and the team made the whole day run incredibly smoothly. They were so friendly and helpful with all of our questions throughout the whole process and it nothing seemed too much trouble.
The venue itself is beautiful, a really great size for the number of guests we had. The grounds were so lovely, and we loved all of the chickens and ducks.
The on site accommodation was ideal, we were fortunate to be able to add the extra night onto our booking the night before the wedding which was so useful.
We couldn’t recommend Oxleaze barn highly enough, we had the best day!

The best venue around

Oxleaze barn and all the team are the best of the best! We cannot even begin to explain how much love we have for this place. Through the whole process the team were unbelievable and made our day run so effortlessly.
The venue itself is stunning with so many options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies and so much flexibility on what you can do with your day. Forever the best experience we could ask for

Our perfect wedding

Thank you so much for helping to make our day really special! It was great to have such a stunning venue. The Oxleaze team helped to make our planning easier, and really made sure our day went seamlessly. On the day Kath and Mark were there behind the scenes so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing, and we were able to fully appreciate and enjoy our day! Oxleaze is beautiful and it is clear that they listen to their couples and are continuously making improvements - from big things like the milling barn, which was a fantastic extra space, to smaller things like the firepit. We loved that we were able to choose from Oxleaze’s suppliers list while also having the flexibility to choose our own suppliers which meant that we were able to make our day really personal to us. Thanks again!!! We thoroughly recommend Oxleaze to anyone else searching for their perfect venue.

Incredible venue, brilliant staff,stunning scenary

We had an absolutely incredible wedding day in August at Oxleaze Barn. This is a brilliant venue that looked stunning in the summer. The staff were all so accommodating and made sure the day went to plan, always going above and beyond what we would have expected. The private gardens are stunning and my parents particularly enjoyed walking around them. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from our special day and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting a barn wedding in a lovely countryside setting.

Wedding on 8th September 2018

We held our wedding reception at Oxleaze barn after holding the ceremony at a local church. The team were so helpful, friendly and welcoming and helped made the whole day run so smoothly. The venue is perfect for a group of 100 guests of all ages; and we loved that we could decorate it in our own way and according to our own budget. It's such a stunning venue, you don't' need to add much to have a beautiful wedding day. We particularly liked the garden space, the milling barn for dancing and the traditional beams. We hired the private gardens for photos which we would really recommend for a beautiful backdrop for bride and groom photos. A wonderful venue and wonderful team.

Our beautiful wedding

We recently had our wedding at Oxleaze Barn and couldn't recommend it highly enough.
The staff are warm and welcoming and could not do enough to help. They were on hand from the moment we booked the date to the day itself. Kath play a large part in ensuring the smooth running of our day without knowing she was there!
The venue is stunning, the barns have been brought to life and yet not spoilt, offering a truly rustic experience. This was appreciated and spoken about by a large number of our guest and helped to create a fantastic memory.

Perfect wedding venue

We held our entire wedding (ceremony and reception) at Oxleaze Barn in July 2018. In our 50's... Determined not to make an 'industry' out of wedding planning it was the only venue we viewed and we knew it was perfect from the start.
The barn is light and airy but cool so our guests were comfortable in the summer heat. The space is flexible so weddings can be held in or outside - on our day the weather was changable but Katherine was flexible about waiting to the very last minute so we could marry outside.
The enclosed grounds are perfect for drinks, children's games & we had a fish & chip van in the evening that went down a storm. The marsh mallows toasting on the firepit was also a hit.
The addition of the milling barn was perfect for evening dancing, with space in the main barn for people to sit down.and have some quiet time if they chose to.
We didn't do much decorating as the barn is beautiful as it is. We just had bunting and fresh flowers and the simple. Shabby chic look worked brilliantly.
The staff at the watering hole did a great job and were efficient and professional along with being friendly to all our guests. The flexibility of using any outside caterer was also a benefit.
Being able to stay at the Stable cottage was so lovely and convenient - it really was the icing on the cake.
So if you are looking for a fexible, beautiful space in the Cotswolds to get married in, with a team who are invested in.doing everything they can to ensure your day is perfect I would highly recommend Oxleaze Barn.

A massive thanks...

Just wanted to say a massive thanks for all of your help in making our wedding such a great day.

From all the questions we asked to all the help on set up (removing curtains, helping with table set up, mowing the grass etc), it all meant that our planning process was so much smoother.

Then on the actual day, the help from Katharine was invaluable, thank you so much. You made sure we had less to think about and it just seemed like you had everything under control from meeting the band, ensuring the aisle was all set up to making sure everyone was out the toilets for the speeches. You did so many little things that we didn’t even think about. Our wedding day couldn’t have gone any better and everyone loved the day and you helped make sure it was a success.

In terms of the venue, it looked incredible in the sunshine. We are so happy that we picked it and it looked unbelievably good on the day. Many people commented that it was like being somewhere abroad and you know that’s always a compliment! We couldn’t be happier with how the day went and are so glad that we chose Oxleaze barn.

Truly amazing venue

Just wanted to send this message to say thank you to you and Katherine for all of your hard work in making sam and kevs wedding reception perfect

The barn and the grounds are truly amazing and from the moment I actually came to see it on the Friday before the wedding I could see why they had fallen in love with it. It really is a beautiful barn and the grounds are stunning.
Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for either of you. Katherine I just wanted to say thank you for putting a bollard where my disabled husband was parked so that when we returned we were able to park as close to the gate as possible.
I am sure you will have plenty more weddings at the barn and hope they all enjoy oxleaze as much as we did.

A big thank you

I just wanted to say a big thank you from me and Joe (or should I say, my husband and I!) for such an amazing wedding. We really appreciate all of the extra help on the day that made sure that it ran so smoothly. We would definitely recommend you as a venue, and had many compliments on such a beautiful setting. Who knows, maybe we will be back for our 10 year anniversary!

The most incredible day

We had the most incredible, unforgettable day and couldn't have asked for more. The venue was stunning and met all our expectations. We had so much fun setting up the venue and our wedding day was perfect. I had lots of ideas in my head of how I wanted it to look and it really all did surpass that! The tables as well were so beautifully made and we felt very lucky to have them. Kath and Richard were so helpful with setting up and keeping everything running so smoothly, the caterers also commented on how helpful and lovely you both were! We can't say thank you enough really! x

Gorgeous venue!

We had the most incredible day, it was everything I could have dreamed of and more!
The beautiful setting of your barn and with the gorgeous weather made it the most idyllic venue!
All of guests were totally overwhelmed by how gorgeous the venue is, and we of course will be sure to spread the word!
You were all so, so helpful and Katherine was an absolute star on the day, I didn't have to worry about a thing! x
