Peak Edge Hotel is a beautiful wedding venue located in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Nestled on the edge of Derbyshire's beautiful Peak District National Park, Peak Edge unites serenity and sophistication to create an elegant setting for your special day. This idyllic setting provides all you need to make your perfect country wedding a reality, including stunning grounds, oak beams, vaulted dining rooms and roaring open fires to set the scene.
Facilities and Capacity
The stunning Oak Room provides the perfect setting for your special day, with the breathtaking backdrop of the Peak District countryside. Large skylights allow natural light to flood the room, while hanging crystal chandeliers and a bespoke-designed bar add a touch of elegance. The Oak Room is versatile and chic, making it the perfect canvas to paint upon the day of your dreams. The private terrace and garden area provide additional space to celebrate the day in the tranquil Derbyshire countryside, with the addition of a fully licensed pagoda and private lake for those who wish to host their ceremony outdoors. The newly renovated suite, The Walton, is the ideal event space for a more intimate day. With a large open ceiling, bar, private restroom facilities and an outdoor terrace, it is the perfect area to host a smaller celebration. The Peak Edge Hotel can accommodate weddings of up to 200 guests for an unforgettable evening of celebrating your forever union.

Perfect in every way...
Turning up for our meeting at Peak Edge we had a number of other venue viewings booked. Within hours of leaving Peak Edge, these were all swiftly cancelled. We were truly blown away by the venue and also Michelle - her calm but knowledgeable approach was absolutely perfect for us. I don't think we asked a single question when we viewed as everything we could've wanted to know had been answered during our look around.
From this first meeting with Michelle, right the way up to the morning after the big day - every single point about our wedding and the planning was perfect.
The attention to detail at Peak Edge is incredible, every member of staff that we came across was truly professional and provided an impeccable service. Many of our guests took time to complement the venue and staff for how smoothly the day ran as a result of their hard work, management and organisation. Everything has been so well thought out and their experience is clear to see. All of our suppliers had a point of contact and these were well organised ensuring we didn't need to worry about anything on the day.

Simply the best.
My husband and I got married here on the 7th April 2023 and everything from our initial consultation to checking out the day after was flawless. Francine and the team were always to hand for any little queries during the lead-up and on the day everything ran like clockwork thanks to their professionalism and military precision. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.
The food was magnificent - all our guests commented on the quality and flavour of the canapés and our wedding breakfast. The evening paella was a particular hit - a real showstopper, cooked in an enormous paella pan on the terrace.
The location is just perfect with gorgeous, sweeping views over the fields behind and ample opportunity for stunning golden hour photos in the grounds or surrounding areas. We regularly walk our dog around here and it was also a massive bonus that he was welcomed for the ceremony and drinks reception.
We cannot wait to return here for our anniversary.

Amazing venue !
I can’t put into words how perfect our day was from beginning to end.
From meeting Laura after the proposal , she was the best wedding planner I could ever have imagined . Nothing was too much trouble and I lost count how many times she calmed my panics down !
The venue is just WOW ! If you are looking for a classy , tasteful , country venue then look no further . All our guests were blown away by the venue but also the team that ran the day.
The food was incredible , the team that waited on us couldn’t have been more polite and attentive. The whole day just ran seamlessly because of them.
If you do visit , also check out the grounds as the setting is perfect for those stunning photos you will be looking for !
So in summary, nothing could have been done any differently to make our day anymore perfect than what it was !

The most amazing wedding venue
I could not recommend Peak Edge highly enough. The venue is absolutely stunning and not only did we think so but so many of our guests commented on how amazing it was. The staff really do go above and beyond. Fran was our wedding coordinator and from the first initial look around of the venue we did up until the day (and even the morning after helping up pack everything into our cars!) she just made me feel so relaxed throughout it all! And on the day Harriet was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her!
All of the staff are 10/10, the venue and the grounds are stunning, the food was beautiful - I would recommend to anyone to get married here!

Just Perfect!
If you’re looking for the most perfect venue, Peak Edge is the one! It’s the first one we looked at and fell in love immediately!!
Michelle and the team were amazing in coordinating and planning our special day!
Any questions, queries or worries, we were easily put at ease after talking through them!
The planning goes through every single detail which is then put into action by the team so you have nothing to worry or stress about on the day!
Communication with Michelle was brilliant and her excitement for our day made use even more excited to get married there!!
The venue looked beautiful with our theme when we were allowed to view before the guests!!

Outstanding venue!
The amazing Francine Myers planned our wedding to pure perfection- nothing was too much trouble, every detail was confirmed and carried out. The rooms were out of this world- the food was delicious and the peak edge team were so professional and attentive. (Special thanks to Gareth & Tim) the whole experience was just magical. 💗

From start to finish the Peak edge and all their staff have been amazing from the first look round through the meetings to the wedding day they were fantastic.
The venue itself is stunning, modern country style stunning luxury with picturesque views.
The wedding co ordinators are friendly professional lovely people who go to every length to make your day amazing! The day couldn’t have run smoother every detail was perfection and the food was gorgeous can’t praise or thank them enough!

WOW Perfect Day

We got married in August 2021 and could not have asked for a smoother wedding planning process or a more perfect day.
Having to cancel our wedding four times due to the pandemic the wedding team could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They even went that extra mile and send us a card and flowers on what would have been our original wedding date. This was such a thoughtful thing to do at such a awful time.
Overall Not only did we get to still get the wedding day we always dreamed of, we didn't have one second of stress through the whole day.
Laura and Fran our wedding planners were unbelievable and would highly recommend them and their team to run your wedding day.
The waiting staff and bar staff couldn't do enough to help us and our guest throughout the day. Even had bar staff helping me with my dress and veil which they didn't have to do. All those little touches made us so pleased we chose Peak Edge.
The venue is so breath taking and has been made even better then when we originally booked it in 2019 due to the renevations made during lockdown. The rooms in the hotel were also amazing especially the Chatsworth suite.
The wedding pictures were made even more perfect by grounds of the venue and the gorgeous weather we were lucky to get on the day.
Everyone of our guest commented how beautiful the venue was, how smoothly everything ran and how nice the food was.
Our wedding day will always be something we will remember as the perfect day that Peak Edge helped to make it.

Our wedding 28.03.24
Our special day on 28th March 2024 was amazing. We felt so supported by Francine throughout the whole process and on the day. The food was amazing, the ceremony room and wedding breakfast room looked amazing and they even allowed us to use the other room which was so helpful. The staff on the day were so attentive and did so much for us. Thank you so much

Fantastic the most perfect day
We found the most amazing place to have our most perfect wedding day I wouldn't want to change a thing about the day the staff was out of this world the venue the details of the day was amazing there was always someone to talk to for any enquiries and you won't be disappointed to use the peak edge hotel they make your perfect day one you won't forget
