Originally the home of Lord Tollemache and built in the early 19th century, the hotel is the only fully intact medieval-style castle in the country. Over the years, it has been the location for numerous movies, including Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Who, and Coronation Street. Peckforton Castle's stunning exterior has now been complemented by a lovingly refurbished interior which houses 48 bedrooms and truly magnificent entertaining rooms. Five unique function rooms are available where ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions can be held. The venue can host up to 165 guests in the day & 350 in the evening. Each distinct setting can be enhanced with eye-catching floral arrangements, elegant furnishings, and more. When the festivities draw to a close, newlyweds are invited to retire to one of the hotel's suites for a well-deserved rest.
