Wedding Venues in South East London

We took a gamble on Sugar Studios and it totally paid off. Brad and the team are amazing and really supported us in bringing our vision to life. We did two site visits before the big day and communication with Brad outside of those was seamless. We had lots of other suppliers involved in the wedding and everything happened exactly as we'd planned without needing a separate on-the-day co-ordinator (although I do work in events so have a lot of experience). It really is a blank canvas for you to do with what you wish. The cafe truck worked perfectly for serving our meal, we were able to create multiple areas for our guests so everyone could choose where they wanted to be and nothing was too much trouble. If you want a unique venue, suitable for a large wedding, where you have control over what it looks like and what the vibe will be, we highly recommend Sugar Studios.

To begin with we looked at some more traditional wedding venues but realised they just weren’t for us. We were looking for a relaxed venue that we could hire for the day and night and realised it was right under our noses. The Perry Hill is our local pub .. and ticked all the boxes for what we wanted .. a cosy, but large venue for our November wedding .. fabulous food and friendly staff who all had our backs.. and were genuinely excited about working the event ! The pub is big - as is their garden so we didn’t have an issue with numbers . The pub has a very large inflatable igloo in the garden which we used as a Photo Booth - the space worked brilliantly …. On arrival guests were handed a drink and asked to direct themselves to the garden for mingling and pictures. We had lots of pre teens at the wedding who ran around the garden and had fun without causing any problems ! The smaller side of the pub was set up for our ceremony - we were officially married 2 weeks previously -so this was not a legal ceremony - but loads of fun! A friend re-married us and we said our vows etc.. got a fabulous group shot of the entire congregation ! Whilst we had a group photo outside the tables and chairs were arranged for lunch .. Phil’s food choice's worked perfectly - for meat eaters and vegans. We had a buffet rather than table service - and the food flowed … everyone commented on the fabulous flavours and variety .. in the evening we had more food - burgers / chips / toasties. No one went hungry ..! We had a band and a disco in the evening ..loads of space for dancing and for those who didn’t want to dance - there was a seating around the other side of the bar for chatting. If we did it all again - I wouldn’t change a thing .. it was a brilliant day - smoothly run - no problems whatsoever. Best bar staff and chefs … Phil and his team were a 10/10 !

We have chosen Enderby House for our wedding reception venue and we couldn't be happier. We want to extend our thanks to all of your staff members present on our wedding day. Every single one of you was fantastic and helped to make our day very special. You all made us feel very welcomed and relaxed which we are very appricative of. All of us loved the venue, the decorations, the food and the view of the river and skyscrapers at night! We also want to thank you for letting us have the toast on the terrace, it was a really nice gesture!

We got married at Life in July and worked with Laura for just over a year to plan it. We and our guests had the most incredible day and couldn’t speak more highly of the venue, the organisation and the staff. Laura was worth her weight in gold and made the planning process so enjoyable. Before booking with Laura we had been burnt with another venue which had really set the tone and made us wonder what the rest of the wedding industry was like - we will always be so grateful to Laura for completely smashing our expectations and restoring our faith, helping us to create the most amazing day, and be so on it during the day that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing and could just enjoy. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell everyone to get married at Life, and our only wish would be to do it all over again!

We wanted somewhere a bit different for our wedding day, without losing any of the atmosphere or indulgence of a more traditional reception. We were absolutely delighted with BSK from start to finish. The team were super responsive and organized, the space was absolutely perfect, the energy from the staff on the evening was incredible and so many of our friends have told us how it’s the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. We would highly recommend!

My experience was great. The venue is super cool - really quirky. So many guests commented on how fabulous it was! Good transport links too. Great space - over 3 floors means people can spread out a bit and can create ‘zones’. Venue very accommodating on access both before and on the day. Provided good list of local contacts for stuff like catering, lighting etc. Space for dance floor is plentiful. Strongly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience working with The Ministry for our civil partnership. The team were impeccably professional, well-organised and communicative at all times - they were lovely to work with, and the process was always very smooth and collaborative. The venue itself is beautiful and very flexible, the food and drink were really high-quality, and everyone we met, whether Antonio the Event Manager, Thanos the Bar Manager, or any of their staff, operated at a really high level, while always being friendly and approachable. They gave us lots of time and attention, and went above and beyond to make sure we and our guests had the experience we wanted. We couldn't recommend working with Ministry highly enough - we had a wonderful party with them, and a great time organising it.

We got married in December 2023 and the Kingswood Arts team took care of us the whole way. Kind, thoughtful, caring, responsive, the team made sure we were looked after and helped us throw the best wedding party anyone could have. Massive thanks to Jack, to Nikolas, and to the whole team for making our dream wedding come true 🤍

The Admiral Hardy was an amazing venue for our wedding of around 60 people. The staff were professional and responsive throughout the entire process, and we felt confident trusting them to make everything come together. On the day everything went smoothly, and the food was amazing. I couldn't recommend this venue more. It's also located in a beautiful part of London, and is also really convenient for transport connections.
