Poets House is a dream for those with a creative eye, offering an abundance of visual delights that will elevate any wedding theme. The property can host up to (non excluisve ) 50 guests for a civil ceremony, wedding breakfast, and up to 60 for the evening reception.. With exclusive hire, you and your guests can relax in the full privacy of the hotel and its gorgeous grounds. Welcome friends and family with a drink in the quaint walled garden before letting your day unfold in The Writing Room. Cosy and chic, this versatile setting can host from 50 to 120 guests for the nuptials and up to 40 in the evening. Meanwhile, the Sonnet Bar and Lounge is the perfect spot for a Champagne reception with its sunny aspect and easy access to the gorgeous courtyard. After the formalities, you can relax into your evening celebrations and dance the night away.

I would recommend the Poets House if you are wanting an intimate wedding. Beautiful venue and the staff made our day perfect.
The most obvious choice for a wedding venue !
Right from the start Poets House catered for our every need, unlike other wedding venues Poets House, arranged everything the way we wanted it, with no 'set packages' to choose from.
The food, wine, garden, staff, table decorations, drinks & canapes looked & tasted fabulous, the flow of the day, with the use of the garden, could not have been better.
Christine & her team liaised with our photographer (Chris Boland) & our florist (Wild Clover) all I had to do, as the bride, was turn up & say 'I do' !!
Fabulous location, fabulous food & drinks, fabulous staff - I can't praise them enough !
