We had our wedding reception at Portsmouth Distillery in September this year and the whole experience was fantastic. From start to finish communication with the venue was brilliant and they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. All of our guests were so impressed by how unique and interesting the venue was. All the bar staff etc on the day were great and Jackie who organised everything for us is an absolute star! Cannot recommend highly enough!

I booked my reception at the Village Hotel Portsmouth as I was confident that my experience of being a regular customer of the hotel, attending tribute nights as well as having gym and business club membership meant that I knew I was in safe hands. The reception looked amazing, the food was delicious, the staff on the day were highly professional and my coordinator Izabela Sledz was fantastic in not only keeping in regular contact but also solving a last minute crisis. Highly recommend!

From our first meeting with Abby, we were we looked after and fully informed at every stage. The staff were well organised and seamless. Our suppliers were welcomed and advised of all our requirements on arriving at the venue on the morning of the wedding. We were lucky to have spectacular weather on the day and I struggle to think of anywhere better in the UK or abroad that would have been as good for the day we had. The whole day was perfect and even though I am sure there was the odd hiccup, I wasn't informed and was completely unaware. As far as I am concerned our day was flawless! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Tower as a wedding venue and would like to thank the Tower and Gunwharf security staff for managing our day and our suppliers requirements so well.

Heidi, the wedding coordinator was so helpful. She arranges flowers, ballons and matching table cloths and napkins. Cake and stand and toastmaster are included in the price. Excellent service on the day, had so many compliments from my guests, it really was a lovely meal, and the staff were good aswell. DJ is also included and we spoke to him before to have the songs we wanted. We had a private bar and the do went on until 1.30pm. Brilliant day, I loved every minute off it, and it wouldn't have been anywhere near as successful if we'd done it ourselves.
