We had our wedding here during covid and had to move our day to September 2020 from a lockdown in May. I can quite simply say we had the best day, better than I could ever have imagined. The food was incredible - because we could only have a sit down meal at the time we make sure to feed our 30 allowed guests well! Everyone still tells me how good the food was. The atmosphere with the candlelit rooms and roaring log fires, with my own personal music playing and everyone I love in one room is hard to even describe. I can't thank Rebecca the wedding manager enough for how well we were looked after on the day. Afterwards we were able to retreat up to the amazing Shepherds Huts and stay cosy by the firepits Quite simply the best day and I will cherish every second forever

We have a very personal connection to this place. Brockholes was the first day out we did as a couple! This place is so beautiful we shared our love of photography whilst sitting at the river bank. We loved that day so much we came back on the day we got officially together! Now we came back on the first day as husband and wife just last week! When we were looking for our wedding venue we just knew Brockholes was for us. Along with the personal connection I had a vision of our wedding in this place. The architecture of the building inspired my decor which was eco and DIY themed. Throughout our experience during the build up the staff were very helpful and flexible especially during these difficult times during this pandemic. Unfortunately we too had to postpone our wedding as a result of lockdown 3. But we’re so grateful on their flexibility and hassle free rearrangement towards us. We didn’t have any extra charges or loose any money. Which I know how very fortunate we are as I’m aware other couples haven’t been so fortunate in this difficult situations with other suppliers. When it came to our big day it turned out even better than we imagined! The atmosphere the whole day was spectacular! Despite the great British summer we still embraced the day whatever the weather. Overall I would like to thank the staff, Caroline our wedding coordinator, Steven catering manager and the team that helped us prepare and set up for our big day. You all did a fantastic job to make our day run smoothly and also make it special! I’m so happy with the way our wedding day turned out and also the money we put in to pay goes back into the nature reserve.

“We had our wedding reception here in March 2018, and we were so pleased with this venue! The barns are stunning and have had some great work done to them, we particularly loved the big wood burners and the uplights that change colour! Katie was such a helpful co-ordinator and made our day really special. She worked so hard behind the scenes to help everything run smoothly. Access to the venue beforehand was really easy, and we popped down numerous times to have a look without needing special access. There’s loads of space to make use of in the barns, and you can even use the lake for your photos. We‘re delighted we chose Wyresdale’s wedding barns for our special day - thank you team!” Thank you SO much!

We can't thank the Staff at the Preston Marriott enough for their contribution to our daughter's wedding on Saturday 4th September. It was a perfect and memorable day made especially so by the care and effort of all of the staff involved. A particular thanks to Gemma our wedding co-ordinator and also to B-J who made an excellent MC for the wedding breakfast. The attention to detail and readiness to oblige made our planning so much easier and free from worry.All of the guests commented on the superb venue and outstanding meal. Thanks once again.

my cousins wedding was held here and it was a fabulous day, brilliant care from all staff and the perfect venue for the perfect day!
