To begin with we looked at some more traditional wedding venues but realised they just weren’t for us. We were looking for a relaxed venue that we could hire for the day and night and realised it was right under our noses. The Perry Hill is our local pub .. and ticked all the boxes for what we wanted .. a cosy, but large venue for our November wedding .. fabulous food and friendly staff who all had our backs.. and were genuinely excited about working the event ! The pub is big - as is their garden so we didn’t have an issue with numbers . The pub has a very large inflatable igloo in the garden which we used as a Photo Booth - the space worked brilliantly …. On arrival guests were handed a drink and asked to direct themselves to the garden for mingling and pictures. We had lots of pre teens at the wedding who ran around the garden and had fun without causing any problems ! The smaller side of the pub was set up for our ceremony - we were officially married 2 weeks previously -so this was not a legal ceremony - but loads of fun! A friend re-married us and we said our vows etc.. got a fabulous group shot of the entire congregation ! Whilst we had a group photo outside the tables and chairs were arranged for lunch .. Phil’s food choice's worked perfectly - for meat eaters and vegans. We had a buffet rather than table service - and the food flowed … everyone commented on the fabulous flavours and variety .. in the evening we had more food - burgers / chips / toasties. No one went hungry ..! We had a band and a disco in the evening ..loads of space for dancing and for those who didn’t want to dance - there was a seating around the other side of the bar for chatting. If we did it all again - I wouldn’t change a thing .. it was a brilliant day - smoothly run - no problems whatsoever. Best bar staff and chefs … Phil and his team were a 10/10 !

We have chosen Enderby House for our wedding reception venue and we couldn't be happier. We want to extend our thanks to all of your staff members present on our wedding day. Every single one of you was fantastic and helped to make our day very special. You all made us feel very welcomed and relaxed which we are very appricative of. All of us loved the venue, the decorations, the food and the view of the river and skyscrapers at night! We also want to thank you for letting us have the toast on the terrace, it was a really nice gesture!

We got married at Life in July and worked with Laura for just over a year to plan it. We and our guests had the most incredible day and couldn’t speak more highly of the venue, the organisation and the staff. Laura was worth her weight in gold and made the planning process so enjoyable. Before booking with Laura we had been burnt with another venue which had really set the tone and made us wonder what the rest of the wedding industry was like - we will always be so grateful to Laura for completely smashing our expectations and restoring our faith, helping us to create the most amazing day, and be so on it during the day that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing and could just enjoy. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell everyone to get married at Life, and our only wish would be to do it all over again!

We wanted somewhere a bit different for our wedding day, without losing any of the atmosphere or indulgence of a more traditional reception. We were absolutely delighted with BSK from start to finish. The team were super responsive and organized, the space was absolutely perfect, the energy from the staff on the evening was incredible and so many of our friends have told us how it’s the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. We would highly recommend!

The Admiral Hardy was an amazing venue for our wedding of around 60 people. The staff were professional and responsive throughout the entire process, and we felt confident trusting them to make everything come together. On the day everything went smoothly, and the food was amazing. I couldn't recommend this venue more. It's also located in a beautiful part of London, and is also really convenient for transport connections.

I could not recommend The Jolly Gardeners enough, they are the nicest people, helpful from the moment you meet them and will accommodate anything you want to do on your big day! The venue is bright and beautiful, it's modern yet traditional, with lots of greenery and the added bonus of the lovely secret garden. On the day, the venue looked better than I imagined, and you could see how much care had gone into the setup. The food was incredible and our guests are still talking about it now. The service on the day is second to none as they have the nicest bar staff and waiters. In conclusion, from the beginning, it was completely stress-free working with The Jolly Gardeners and it is a perfect wedding venue.

What an incredible venue! Truly could not have been better! Pedro, the owner, handled our booking personally - I felt like our needs were really listened to, and the plan for our day was really bespoke and personal for exactly what we wanted - it felt so special. The space inside has so much character but is highly flexible - so many options for planning things exactly how you want it. Incredible food and wines, plus we got so many compliments on the cocktails - the staff were amazing and really went above and beyond for us. 10/10 would recommend!!! Thank you!!

I can't thank Nelli, Ivan and the team at Davy's Wine Vaults enough. Everything from planning to the tasting to the day itself was super easy and fun. They went out of their way to bring our vision to life and every one of our guests commented on how fab the venue was and how nice the staff were. The food was delicious, our lunch and the evening buffet had many compliments. We had special cocktails created which went down a treat, and the outside area was perfect for our welcome drink and some photos. I want to go back and do it all again!

We can't praise the Oystercatcher enough and could not have asked for more, from the initial enquiry all the way to the staff helping us carry leftover cake to our front door. We had never organised an event (or wedding) before and the manager and his team took everything in hand - full of ideas and also flexible and good humoured about every random idea and request we had. They also worked directly with our florist which was invaluable. The level of care and attention was genuinely heartwarming and knowing that the reception was taken care of and in such good hands meant there was minimal stress in the lead up to the wedding. The venue itself has a beautiful riverfront setting with an outdoor terrace and being on two floors meant we could have a champagne and canape reception downstairs before moving upstairs for a more formal dinner followed by music and dancing. Upstairs in particular has a spectacular view of the city which only got better as the sun went down and everything else lit up. It created a wonderful atmosphere for the guests, many of whom have subsequently been back for dinner. Regarding food, we had multiple tastings and help putting together a menu with enough choices to accommodate the usual dietary requirements of the guests and also to come within our budget. The quality and generosity of the food was exceptional and just as good on the day as during the tastings. The wines were served at perfect temperatures and the staff did everything with grace and style. Multiple guests commented that the attitude of the staff enhanced the joy of the day and we absolutely agree. We can't recommend the Oystercatcher highly enough and consider ourselves fortunate to have chosen them for our wedding.

We honestly cannot speak highly enough of the venue and staff, it was the perfect venue for our wedding day and evening. Having reviewed a dozen venues in London, stately homes, private members clubs etc.... we came across the Drake & Morgan venues (of which there are a few!) and were shown around by Will Breteau (Events Manager for Drake & Morgan). All the venues varied in layout and size but each and every one had the same unique modern, contemporary, relaxed style which we absolutely loved. We selected The Anthologist on first viewing because of the layout and location. It is situated on Gresham Street which at the weekend feels like a private road in the heart of London! The Anthologist has a very light, relaxed feel, and the open plan layout allows a seamless transition from pre-drinks to daytime wedding breakfast to evening party. The food is to a high standard and also very reasonable in terms of pricing and we have since had many guests comment on the food throughout the day. The food tasting was great, the chef and his team were extremely accommodating and offered great suggestions for alternate options and dietary requirements. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive and made the whole day run very smoothly. The team were headed up by Will Breteau and his assistants Ava and Louise - these guys, from start to finish, made what can be a very stressful exercise seem nothing but fun. They orchestrated everything, contacts with DJ, table linens, bands, flowers.... Everything. This just leaves you to enjoy yourself!! Will sets the bar for events planning, he had absolutely every base covered. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the city, look no further than than the Drake & Morgan venues.
