Retreat East is an idyllic countryside wedding venue located in Ipswich, Suffolk. This setting in England can easily suit various wedding and related event needs. This venue is a lovingly restored dairy farm that offers a classic backdrop for couples to celebrate their love and commitment. We are situated 80 minutes from London, 60 minutes from Cambridge, and 30 minutes from Colchester, making it a conveniently located venue.

Retreat East is surrounded by 35 acres of countryside and wildflower meadows. Exclusive use of the venue is offered but is equally suited to smaller gatherings. Throughout the property, barns are brimming with character and a 16th-century farmhouse is designed with sustainability in mind. They also feature a rustic chic style. This venue is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and accommodates up to 68 people. The vows can be exchanged in the Great Barn or The Farmhouse Garden with 100 people in attendance. The venue is also able to accommodate receptions with up to 120 guests.
