  Lucy and Alcott are a dream!

  When my husband and I started planning our wedding, I was adamant I didn’t want the faff of a DIY wedding in a field. That plan went out of the window when we found Alcott and met Lucy! We’d almost put a deposit on somewhere else, but left our visit to Alcott knowing this was where we had to get married.
  
  It’s a true family affair; this is a special place to Lucy and her family and that was reflected in the care and love that was put into the venue and our wedding.
  
  Lucy is a wealth of knowledge. Every vendor she recommended was brilliant, high quality and excellent value (no quotes could compare!).
  
  Alcott is brilliant situated; easy to get to but feeling private and secluded. The fishing ponds looked beautiful on the photos. The space is huge; we had a 5 hat tipi with space for an huge outdoor ceremony, flags, hay bales and picnic benches, loads of garden games, a bouncy castle and glamping, and still space for an impromptu family Olympics.
  
  Lucy was on hand the whole way through. She went above and beyond to make our day so special. She’s professional and efficient but still feels like she’s your friend. After spending the last 18 months chatting constantly, I’m going to miss having her in our lives. We need another excuse for a party!! I also want to give an honourable mention to mom Jane and the gorgeous dogs!
  
  We were told by so many people that ours was the best wedding they’d been to. I’m inclined to agree :). That would not have been possible without Lucy and Alcott.

  Amazing from the start!

  From the start Lucy has been absolutely amazing and could not do enough for us!
  
  We were due to get married in August 2020 and due to the pandemic we couldn’t go ahead with the day we wanted and the numbers so chose to postpone. I called lucy to explain and she was so understanding and did everything she could for us to move our date to 2021. She contacted majority of the suppliers on our behalf and sorted new dates and paper work etc. It took all the stress out of the situation and made us feel 100% looked after.
  
  Fast forward to now and unfortunately we are in the same position again, Alcott has everything we want for our wedding and we want the day we planned and make full use of the venue and all the supplied so again due to the circumstances and family being stuck in Australia we made the tough decision to postpone and move our date to 2022.
  
  Lucy was amazing again and offered us the closest Saturday available to our current date for next year and got on to all the suppliers to rearrange our whole day (for the second time)
  
  I cannot wait to get married at Alcott and knowing lucy is on hand anytime for any questions or queries makes everything 100 times easier!
  
  We can now sit back and relax knowing everything is taken care of and can get our excitement back!

  Amazing venue!

  Alcott weddings was a beautiful venue for our wedding, allowing us to have all of our friends and family around us for our wedding day! Lucy was so helpful from the very first time we visited to the very end of setting down, she always makes it as stress free as possible. We felt at home having our wedding at Alcott and it was such a special day! Thank you so much to Lucy and the team for everything they did to make it possible.

  Perfection

  Going to start with the amazing venue; we had the most amazing day. Two years in the planning with the calmest, friendliest, and the most organised person in charge. We got to live out the crazy vision we had planned. Festivals all over the country cancelled. Not our Wedfest! With an amazing team we went ahead and lived our dream. Cutting, sucking and siphoning rain water with dad”s hose pipes, constant tipi checks, we had our dream day. With a surprise pizza delivery to our lodge to end our night.. Nothing is too much to ask even in a week of full bridezilla mode.
  Throughout 2 days of severe weather warnings, we lived our dream and started married life, without a hitch. Complete calmness, professionalism and friendliness. The wind did not curtail our day and we loved every second of it. Guests have commented about how unique and perfect it was. We love love loved it.
  Thank you Lucy and the team, we are forever indebted to you.

  Great service

  We knew that we wanted a tipi wedding and we knew that we wanted a beautiful location in which to put the tipi. We called Lucy at Alcott Weddings and arranged a meeting, along with a couple of other venues. After meeting with Lucy and going over what she could offer us we took a ride down the drive to the field that accommodates the tipis. It was perfect. Even on a cold October evening as it was getting dark, we could imagine our big day there, in the sun. The beautiful quiet surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, the oak tree and the lake a wonderful feature bonus. The practical part of us appreciated the large car park, the service road and the excellent drainage system. That night we cancelled viewing the other venues, we knew that this was the place that we would get married. It was perfect.
  After booking our date we had contact with Lucy on a monthly basis, receiving suggestions of entertainment, decorations and additions to the evening food. Lucy was always on hand to help us out, clarify anything that we needed and help ease our minds.
  Our big day has now been and gone, last weekend. It was just as perfect as we had hoped, the venue was beautiful. We would recommend Lucy and Alcott Weddings to anyone looking for a wedding that dreams are made of.

  Friendly professional service

  We had a great time holding our wedding at Alcott Farm. It was a beautiful venue to host our wedding reception in. The surroundings were amazing and make beautiful photo’s no matter the weather. It was very easy to find for our guests and everyone commented on what a lovely venue it was. Lucy was very friendly and helpful to deal with. She has a number of contacts that she can put you in contact with which is really helpful. We would be happy to recommend Lucy and Alcott Weddings.

  Kind, thorough and fabulous

  Having our wedding at Alcott was the best decision we ever made. Lucy is fantastic in helping us plan and organise it in 5 months, she helped us with absolutely everything and made the experience easy. We were able o create our wedding from scratch how we imagined it. We had the worst weather possible on our wedding day and all the support crew helped to tie the marquee down and I think the rain made it better! Beautiful, unique, tucked away venue and lots of beautiful places for the ceremony and pictures.

  All round fab!

  Alcott Weddings was the first and only venue we viewed when we decided to get married. It’s a beautiful canvas on which we were able to create our perfect day. Lucy was extremely helpful and had many useful contacts and suggestions for all our needs and queries, but did not impose at all. Just genuine help and advice, which we really appreciated. She was on hand to help with planning, set up and tidy up and made our lives very easy.
  The flexibility and accommodating atmosphere we got from Alcott and Lucy was exactly what we were looking for and we wish we could do it all again in exactly the same way!

  My husband and I had an absolutely incredible wedding at Alcott! From the day we booked our wedding, to the end of our wedding night Lucy has been absolutely amazing! Her help and support along the way helped us to plan the wedding of our dreams. Lucy suggested the most amazing suppliers who all helped to make our wedding the most amazing day of our lives!

  Perfection!

  What an amazing wedding venue, it’s so beautiful! Lucy and all her team are lovely people to work with, they made the whole process of wedding planning so easy from the start – Lucy is great to work with, has some great ideas and will help you create your dream wedding. She works with a wide range of brilliant suppliers, and those that we worked with were all amazing – Key Event Network, Seven Mile Catering, Final Funk band, James Carpenter DJ, Big Chief Tipis. The venue is stunning and so versatile, there are so many things you can do to make your wedding unique in every way. We couldn’t recommend Lucy and Alcott enough, she helped us make our wedding everything we dream’t of and more – it was brilliant! Thank you, Chris and Nicole xx
