Elegant, Exceptional and The Best Day Ever

The Team at Askham Hall are second to none. They were attentive, supportive and did an exceptional job. The food was fantastic, the on the day coordinator was fantastic (thank you Becca). Everything went smoothly and the grounds were breath taking. Askham Hall has so many areas both under cover and outdoors which made the possibility of rain of no consequence. It is a fantastic place with a fantastic team.

Gorgeous venue and the food is amazing.
The barn the day before being set up for us to add finishing touches too was good. Although the day had a few delays to (not due to the venue) everything else was perfect.
The night before was lovely as well. All family and friends in the same place enjoying a bbq in the medieval hall.

You wont regret it.

We got married at Askham Hall earlier this year, every single part of our wedding process ran so smoothly. Someone was always on hand to answer any questions we had. The venue itself is beautiful, we were lucky enough to have a warm day and could fully appreciate the gardens which are wonderful. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing at all was too much trouble. The food was amazing, we got so many comments from guests on just how good it was. Askham Hall is honestly the most perfect wedding venue!

Amazing team who made our perfect day seamless

We had an autumn wedding at Askham Hall in October 2022.
We cannot rate this venue highly enough. Jenny and her team listened to every request and detail and really allowed us to make our day exactly the way we wanted it to be. The accomodation meant instead of one special day we had an amazing weekend full of all our favourite people!
Many of our guests have commented on how amazing our day was - great venue food and so personal. Many have said it's one of the best weddings they have ever been to and we would agree!
We would happily repeat this day for the rest of our lives.

Perfection

Can not fault anything about the venue or staff, the whole weekend was perfect from start to finish. Food was amazing with a great choice for gluten free husband, and drinks were constantly flowing. The option of the bbq the night before was a perfect start to the rest of the weekend, and we were admittedly so lucky that the sun shone for us the whole time! Jenny was a star and was always available to help my queries on the lead up, and on the weekend was constantly popping up with reassurance and updates. I had no reason to stress as the whole flow of the day was flawless. Can’t wait to come back on our anniversary, and would recommend the venue to anybody. Loads of nearby accommodation for our guests and perfect venue for having our nearest and dearest with us.

Everything we dreamed of!

As soon as we saw Askham Hall, we fell in love with it. The house, barn and gardens are stunning and they provide a unique wedding experience. The staff are so helpful and supportive. The food is one of the showstoppers - it’s fantastic. From the bbq the night before the wedding with our guests who were staying, to breakfast, canapés, wedding breakfast and late night pizzas - you couldn’t fault any of it. Guests commented it’s the best food they've ever had at a wedding. We loved every second of being at Askham Hall and wish we could do it all again just to re-live it!

Beautiful Venue

I highly recommend Askham Hall for a wedding as the grounds and rooms are beautiful and the customer service from all staff was outstanding. Our day was made perfect and the team ensured no stress was added leading up to the day. The food and drink was amazing and even better catering for us as vegans. The quality overall was worth every penny, definitely worth a viewing if your still considering venues.

Home from home

I really couldn’t recommend this venue any more. From the staff, to the surroundings to being made to feel like home. Full of character & picturesque views. Whatever you want from a wedding this place can offer it all. I wish I could go back and do the weekend all over again!
