an unforgettable wedding day

From the first time we walked in, the staff were all amazing. They helped us with EVERYTHING, We never felt like we were just another couple on their schedule, they really made us feel like our wedding was super special and always made us feel like nothing was ever too much.
they made the lead up to and the wedding day so incredibly easy!

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests had a an incredible time and the food was to die for, we didn't have to stress about a single thing, and the memories we made will last a lifetime.

Audleys Wood, Neal Barrett and the whole team are honestly amazing and i could not recommend this venue enough!

Unforgettable wedding day

We had the most perfect day, the staff at audleys couldn’t have done anymore for us. The food, the rooms and just everything was perfect xox

Dream Wedding

Audley's gave us the wedding day of our dreams. Neal made the planning so easy and Christina was amazing in the lead up and on the day. The best food any of us have ever had and outstanding service.

Memorable Day

Audleys Wood were fantastic from start to finish. Nothing was too much to ask for the venue team and they were always flexible in terms of what we needed to get out of our special day.

Other venues to consider were not so flexible when it came to menu choices. Audleys Wood were different. They were keen to ensure dietary requirements were safe but also willing to make exceptions for a few fussy eaters!

The Garden Pavilion was excellent and upon our arrival the day prior to setup, all tables were already laid out with the stock decorations making our lives much easier despite the warm weather. Thee venue team worked very well with the suppliers to ensure they were clear on timings in advance.

Special mention to Charlotte Edwards and Michael Judd (Toastmaster) who were both key in making us feel assured beforehand, then on the day itself Michael was on top of everything meaning we had no stress.

Wedding Day at Audley Wood

We had our special day at Audley and it was worth every penny. Charlotte helped us from start to finish organising everything. I was so greatful to her for making the day flow so effortlessly. Every person we encountered genuinely cared about our day. The venue is so beautiful. I had so many comments from guests. I would without a doubt recommend any brides to be to book here.

Would highly recommend

We used Audleys Wood Hotel as our wedding venue after going to a wedding fair at the venue. Audleys Wood really went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. The whole package is really such a special experience and includes a lot for a great price. The team are so friendly with everyone going above and beyond. Neal in the lead up to and on the day was such an amazing help and Audleys were more than accommodating with any questions and meetings. Communication was very good, they always responded to emails, phone calls etc. in a timely manner. I really would encourage anyone to use Audleys Wood as their venue, the venue itself is beautiful and was great when it rained on our wedding day as the inside is just as beautiful as the outside. We had a lovely wedding here with so much effort put in by the venue and its employees, thank you so much Audleys Wood!

Couldn’t have asked for more from this amazing venue

We had our wedding at Audleys Wood last week and we could not be more grateful we chose this venue. Audleys Wood was the first venues we looked at and loved it right away but felt we should see some others but everything we looked at, we compared to Audleys Wood.

From day one, Charlotte was amazing: she was so helpful and informative - none of my little questions were too much. I never felt any weddings before ours took priority over ours and they were so flexible with some of our requests such as having our dog there and having beer pong in the evening.

On the day, the staff had planned for all weather contingencies and the day went seamlessly - at least from our point of view as the bride and groom, if it wasn’t, we certainly didn’t know!

The food is honestly amazing - the trial was lush and we got so many compliments on the day, especially from vegan guests who loved having separate canapés. There were so many great options for all categories of the wedding breakfast and the evening food.

The accommodation itself was ideal as well. The Jane Austen suite for me the night before was great and surprisingly slept well even with all the nerves and adrenaline. It was a lovely space to get ready in the morning - one thing I would say is a railing for the dresses would have been helpful but the doorframes worked, I was just worried I would damage the beautiful room! The honeymoon suite was also stunning and we had room service the following morning which was a nice option.

I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Our wedding at Audleys Wood

We booked our wedding for March 2024 back in October 2022 at Audleys Wood. We just had that feeling as soon as we had driven up the driveway! Considering it’s in Basingstoke you wouldn’t think it at all in the grounds/ hotel. All the people at Audleys were great considering how many questions I asked in the process! Charlotte was great as was our toastmaster on the day David. We had lots of changes which were accommodated well and the day went about as smoothly as it could have considering the horrendous weather! The bridal suit and honeymoon suit included in our package made everything easier and considering I ran out of time on the day to pack things up everything was moved between rooms. The reception room looked great and the food was lovely. Thank you to everyone at Audleys for making our special day! Jess and Ollie

Absolutely perfect, in every way

Audleys Wood Hotel was the first and only wedding venue we looked at, from the moment we entered for a wedding showcase we were both sold, we fell in love with the beautiful venue and friendly and welcoming staff, we knew this was the perfect place for us to get married.
The whole planning process was made so much easier having Charlotte and her team guide us through each step and answering any question no matter how big or small! All of our requests were catered for and there is literally nothing more we could have wished for on the day, all of our dreams came true!
We were able to add our own decor to the ceremony room and pavilion such as using our own flower arch, providing packets of tissues for the guests, making our own centrepieces and having a welcome table with a guest book, photos etc etc. Being able to include decor in keeping with our theming made the day even more special.
All of the guests have commented on how welcoming, friendly and accommodating all the staff were, nothing felt like too much bother and everyone was always on hand to make sure everything went to plan. There were so many little things on the day that Charlotte and the team did to make us feel special on our wedding day.
The food was outstanding and we've had multiple comments from guests to say how much they enjoyed their meal. We were made to feel so welcome when we came for our menu tasting and Head Chef Leon gave us so much time to talk through our preferences with regards to food and made me so happy that I could have chocolate brownie as a pudding option despite it being on the summer menu!!
The day ran perfectly to time and that was all thanks to the Toast Master. I really don't envy him trying to keep everyone to time and he did it with such kindness and patience! He took away all of the worries I had on the day and I really was just able to truly switch off from the planning and stress and enjoy the day.

A lovely venue and one we would definitely recommend

Well what can I say…. Apart from a very big thank you to Charlotte for all her help and support before the big day. She was always on hand to answer any questions however big or small and for accommodating all our decision changes! The day proceeded without a hitch and Michael was amazing, nothing was to small for him and he made sure everything ran smoothly, not only was he professional in his role but he has a lovely presence about him which made the bridal party feel relaxed. He is a credit to Audleys and our deepest thanks on making our day run smoothly with his lovely kind approach to us all. He made our day very special. I would also like to thank all the other members of staff whom once again were extremely welcoming and only too happy to help and serve. Thanks also go out to the housecleaning staff as the rooms were lovely. A huge well done to the chef, the food was incredibly good, I honestly didn’t expect it to be as good as it was and every single one of our guests remarked on how good the food was from our meat eaters, vegetarians and our celiac. We will definitely be dinning again. Audleys Wood is a lovely venue and one we would definitely recommend. We hope to be spending our anniversary’s with you all.
