A day beyond our expectations

We chose the Pump House Gallery for our wedding. We loved the small building being hidden away in the centre of the park.

Tess helped us out from day one and met with us several times to ensure planning was all going well and we had what she needed. She also worked with our florist and photographer (who she recommended) and other suppliers to make the days itself run smoothly. Tess - we can't thank you enough.

The space looked incredible. We put pictures and things all over the walls and included flowers and signs to turn the space into our own. I can't recommend it enough!

We chose the Pump House Gallery for our wedding. We loved the small building being hidden away in the centre of the park.

Wonderful venue

Beautiful grounds. Staff was lovely to work with and ensured details sorted as we did most of the planning ourselves. The only mild inconvenience is the location of loos. There is a set on the top floor only accessible by stairs, and one handicapped accessible on the ground floor. Guests did not mind and the only drawback — everything else was wonderful as a dry hire venue.

Charming, intimate location in cental London

A wonderful wedding venue in a beautiful setting. Battersea Park is a calm, picturesque gem within the bustle of Zone 1. The Pumphouse is an elegant canvas that allows you to create something personal and unique. The Battersea Park events team at Enable were a joy to work with and helped plan our ceremony and coordinate with our suppliers on the day. A special place- highly recommended.

This is basically run by crooks

We were due to get married here but could not go ahead due to Covid-19. We had parted with thousands of pounds but the only solution they offered us was moving our August date to March (for an outdoor wedding in the UK). They were utterly unsympathetic to our situation and were unwilling to budge and offer us a refund... despite incurring zero costs!

They definitely showed their true colours and it does shine some light on the kind of crooks that work in some our public entities. On the other hand, almost all of the private vendors that we were contracted with were incredible... they, by and large, completely refunded us, despite the financial hardships they must...

It's appalling that it was council-backed EnableLC who gave us the least support despite not being in the same precarious situation as a lot of those small businesses.

I've given it some time before leaving this review. It's good to let the dust settle. But upon reflection, I still feel just as exploited by EnableLC, Battersea Park, and Wandsworth Council as I did back then.

Avoid like the plague. A morally bankrupt organisation.

Wedding at the Pump House Gallery

Having our wedding at Battersea park was very special, and the park made it an amazing venue. However, it was like pulling teeth to get the team to reply to emails and answer my questions. On the day the pump house was FILTHY. The toilets were disgustingly dirty, the back where the caterers work was rat infested - totally unhygienic. Really disappointed with the standard of the Pumphouse.

The setting is incomparably unique and wondrous (not to mention having some of the sweetest and freshest air in Central London), and it was a genuine pleasure planning our day with you: Tess is a genius when it comes to solving logistical wrinkles and making sure we never once felt we were compromising. All our guests have mentioned what an incredible hidden gem The Pump House Gallery is, and your hard work, patience and good humour in accommodating every detail and transforming the venue for us meant we not only had the most spectacular send-off...

Its such a unique venue

‘We loved being able to get married at the Bandstand. It's such a unique venue, especially as our party consisted of many kids! Tess and the team made everything easy from the start to the end’.

Helpful and calming throughout the entire process

'My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Pump House in Battersea Park in November 19 and were delighted with our choice. Tess was helpful and calming throughout the entire process and took a huge amount of the logistical stress off our shoulders. The venue looked amazing and Tess continued to work tirelessly in the background throughout the course of the evening. We would like to thank her for efforts and would highly recommend Battersea to anyone considering a London wedding.'

Our wedding felt like a wonderful dream to us and I know thats because your impeccable management meant that things flowed easily and seamlessly :) Thank you! Not just for the day itself but for being so attentive in the months leading up to the wedding. Although it was a very small family celebration, it meant the world to us and I'm so glad we had you to make it all come to life. We're eternally grateful and feel very lucky.
