Amazing wedding venue!
Really great venue, staff were so helpful. I had multiple meetings with the staff who were always helpful and flexible. Couldn’t have asked for more
The venue couldn’t have done to make our wedding day run like a dream. Amazing Beautiful Venue

Was a learning curve
On my wedding day which was last year, I encountered a lot of problems, which made the day less enjoyable and caused disappointment for the event.
To begin with on entrance to the venue, the first thing I saw on the board was my name as bride getting married to my mum. Not my husbands name.
That had to be amended.
Once in the room, no phone connection.
No window would open.
it was hot.
I had to go downstairs to reception to order my lunch , whilst getting ready.
In the hall when my mother got there, we had no named person to help on hand.
We couldn't find anyone to help with air conditioning system.
The sound system or to help with kitchen needs.
My mother was all over looking for someone and the front desk was not fully staffed to get anyone to help, as a result the decor on tables, the candles were not lit.
It was quite an experience really, for all the reasons we didn't want it to be. I did make recommendations for further events, so that this would not happen to another couples wedding again.

Extremely disappointing
Due to covid we had to rebook but finally when it went ahead, emails were not repled to, calls were not returned. On the day no welcome sign, on the hottest day aircon not on, duty manager was hardly there, she took cake to cut & disappeared for so long we had to go & find her. Loved the Dunkenhalgh
Loved the hotel. Looked great on our pics as lovely exterior and sweeping staircase. We hired the Pendle Suite which is a very spacious large room. We had our ceremony and then our wedding breakfast / party in this room. We needed to self cater as we wanted Kosher food and we were able to use our own caterer.
Joanne the wedding co-ordinator was great, very friendly and helpful. Alex the banqueting manager was available on the day to oversee everything which was a great help.Loved the hotel. Heart Felt Thanks
I would never book or buy anything from a first look however I was so impressed with the staff and how they first looked after us right down to the detailed explanation of how everything would work we just booked and I can’t tell you how happy we are that I did. I was kept up to date with everything from day one and all we asked for was not only executed but to excess, all your staff from the wonderful people serving breakfast to the ladies at reception could not have been more kind. I use that word “kind” as it’s a long way from just nice that really made us feel that they cared and we mattered and that’s a big difference.
I also need to mention two ladies above all as without them not only would the day have been much less enjoyable for all our guests my now wife would have had a melt down but they kept every worry away from her and myself.
I would like to shower the highest praise on Joanne Pilling who organised everything with me up to a Week before the wedding and the wonderful lady who looked after me the whole week before and was on the ground during the two days we spent at the hotel Edwena, I truly can’t tell you how much of an asset these two ladies are to you they are more than lovely and I would like to pass on our most heartfelt thanks and we will make sure our paths cross again soon.
