The most amazing venue and team
We had the best wedding day at Cameron house. The team were so helpful from start to finish and made the day seamless. The outdoor setting is gorgeous as is the hotel itself and the bedrooms for our guests were lovely.We had the best wedding day at Cameron house. Highly recommend
We had our wedding reception at Cameron House and celebrated a wonderful three days there. We got married in a local church and had the reception at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were not blessed with the weather as it poured from the high heavens. However, despite the miserable weather, it did not detract from the beautiful views of the 'Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond'. Guests and staff reassured us throughout the day that it is good luck to get married when it rains! So we can only hope this is true, as we had no luck before the wedding as my father passed away a few days beforehand. I cannot express my gratitude to our wedding planners, Cerelle and Jamie, for their compassion. They met with the team from different departments to ascertain when they could facilitate another date to get married. This demonstrates that they go above and beyond for their clients when the unexpected happens. We made the difficult decision to proceed with the wedding, as we believed my father would have wished for the wedding to proceed on the original date.
Planning our wedding day: Overall, many great people made it possible; however, Cerelle and Jamie stood out among them. They were true professionals from start to finish, and it was clear they knew what they were doing. After we were first introduced, they laid out exactly what information they needed from us and what they could support from their end (basically everything). They made sure we covered every detail. Cerelle and Jamie have warm personalities, and it is easy to build a rapport quickly. They provided us with their mobile numbers so we could contact them anytime. We did not need to contact them, as they had everything under control.
Wedding day: We didn't have anything to worry about during the day, as Cerelle and her team were present. It was Jamie's day off, and he should have been enjoying the Christmas festivities, but he took the time to check in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Again, this demonstrates his commitment to his clients. It was lovely seeing Cerelle and her beautiful smile on the wedding morning. She visited us to deliver a beautiful bottle of champagne, ensure everything was okay, and see if there were any last-minute things she could do for us.
All weddings will never have everything 100%. Our "wee" issue was room-related. The wedding planners provided the reception with the names of all wedding guests and dates of check-in. Despite this, there were a few issues with wedding guests trying to check in at the same time as other guests, which resulted in some of the wedding guests missing part of the drinks reception. Cerelle resolved the issue quickly, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We appreciate that the wedding planners have no control over the reception; otherwise, there wouldn't have been an issue. Therefore, the reception should have a separate check-in for wedding guests to enable a smoother process.
We were impressed with the stunning decor in the drinks reception bar and the decor of Loch Kathrine. In addition, the attention to detail in the table settings was elegant and completed the room's decor. A special thanks to the chef and his team for providing such delicious food throughout the day, from the canapés to the dinner and the buffet at night. We initially met with the chef to design our perfect menu, who was very friendly and accommodating, enabling us to create a bespoke menu. Most guests chose the sweet potato and roast pepper soup and lamb for the main course. The lamb was cooked to the chef's preference, and it was cooked to perfection! The wines were complimentary to each dish. We were delighted to see many happy and well-fed guests. People often complain about the food at weddings, the small portions..... or perhaps it's just me. Nevertheless, we were delighted with the food, presentation, portion size, and overall seeing so many happy and well-fed guests.
Thanks to David and his watering staff for ensuring we had everything we needed and delivering smooth service throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the mic failed to work for the speeches; however, we understood that technical issues happen.
Overall, we were delighted with our wedding at Cameron House. Cerelle, Jamie, and their team are true professionals who go above and beyond for their clients. We strongly recommend Cameron House for any event you may be planning! If you have Cerelle and Jamie as your wedding planners, you will be guaranteed an excellent day.

Wanted to write to say an enormous thank you to you and your colleagues for the incredible job that you did to make our wedding day nothing short of fantastic! Cameron House is stunning and gave the perfect backdrop for the day however the input from all those involved both pre and during the day was above and beyond our expectations and made it memorable for everyone! Colin and I have both had some really difficult times in our lives before we met and we wanted our day to demonstrate the incredible happiness we have found and how fortunate we feel to have this chance - Cameron House enabled us through our day to do just that!
All of our guests have commented on how fabulous everything was during their stay and on the day itself which all added to their ability to have the best time possible.
I also have enormous personal thanks for the kindness, understanding and effort given to enable me to enjoy food and drinks on my day without worry -which was the greatest gift for me and is by far the best care I have ever had - thank you!!
The planning was fantastic and meant that we were clear on expectations and enabled us to sit back and relax on the day, the food was stunning - absolutely gorgeous (and has been echoed by all!) and the service and care we were shown by the staff was second to none.

Lindsay, The day was perfect in every way - there was not one thing that I was disappointed about, or that I felt could be better. Every member of staff that looked after us was exceptional from those who served us our meal to those who served us canapes and supplied our drinks from behind the bar. John, our toast master was such a pro - what a lovely man and Matthew was so attentive and catered for our every need.
Thank you for being there to greet us when we arrived - it was so reassuring to see you as we pulled up in front of the hotel. You have looked after us so well Lindsay - we are so grateful. We also got wind that you are Wedding Planner of the Year!! Not surprised at all about that, or the fact that you kept that one quiet. One of your colleagues proudly shared that inside info with us!

We felt the whole day went really well and were very happy with the service we received from all the staff at the hotel.
