The perfect day

Our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for and more. My partner and I chose our venue because we’ve had many happy memories at Carbis Bay and it holds a special place in our hearts, but we didn’t expect to have such a positive experience working with the Events team. A number of our friends have gotten married elsewhere in the last few years and many of them didn’t have great experiences with their chosen venues, but Ria, Sofia, Jess, Abi, and the rest of the team at Carbis Bay completely blew us away. They were friendly, approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. Whenever I called or sent an email, they immediately had our file up...

Our wedding day was everything we could have hoped for and more. My partner and I chose our venue because we’ve had many happy memories at Carbis Bay and it holds a special place in our hearts, but we didn’t expect to have such a positive experience working with the Events team. A number of our friends have gotten married elsewhere in the last few years and many of them didn’t have great experiences with their chosen venues, but Ria, Sofia, Jess, Abi, and the rest of the team at Carbis Bay completely blew us away. They were friendly, approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. Whenever I called or sent an email, they immediately had our file up and had all our details and requests, which really put my mind at ease. They were completely transparent, which was refreshing when planning a wedding where I often felt that I needed to be looking out for hidden fees. Most importantly for me, by the time our wedding day came around, we’d established such a good relationship with the team that I felt totally relaxed about everything running smoothly because I knew we were in good hands, and I was able to fully enjoy the day. The atmosphere, food, service, and special touches were outstanding – our guests are still telling us what a perfect day it was! If you are considering booking this venue, do not think twice!!

A dream come true

We had the most fantastic day, the setting was unbelievable.
The day ran seamlessly thanks to our wedding co-ordinators. Truly stress free.
The food was amazing- with our guests being very happy.

What truly stands out about the Carbis Bay events team is their willingness to go above and beyond. For example, during our wedding menu tasting six months prior, we were torn between two desserts, so they allowed us to try three instead. This small example sums up our entire experience with Carbis Bay; they strive to help and ensure our needs are met in whatever way they can. Our numerous emails with various questions and requests were always met with prompt and helpful responses, and we felt fully supported.

Our wedding day was a dream come true, and Sofia was incredibly helpful to my now husband during the setup in the morning. The entire day ran smoothly thanks to the organised events team, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our celebration. This was evident in both the major transitions—like from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast—as well as the small details, such as Sofia saving a plate of canapés for us while we took pictures, Phoebe coordinating with our band to ensure the music matched our vibe, and the seamless relocation of our cake cutting outside while the band was setting up. These extra efforts, while not necessary, truly showcased the events team’s commitment to going the extra mile.

The Beach Club itself is a fantastic venue; we loved how it was a white canvas, allowing us to decorate it to our taste. The outdoor decking was perfect for canapés and cocktails, and it’s just a thirty-second walk down to the beach for photos. We were even lucky enough to see seals swimming by during our celebration, which was incredible! My bridesmaids and I got ready in a Junior Beach Suite, conveniently located next to the Beach Club, with stunning views. Carbis Bay truly has its own microclimate; despite a storm in the morning, we enjoyed beautiful sunshine by the time we took our photos, so don't stress too much about the forecast! We also highly recommend upgrading the menu—the food was absolutely exquisite. We had forty-five guests which felt like a perfect number.

Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend Carbis Bay for a wedding. The views are spectacular, but the venue doesn’t rely solely on them for a perfect celebration. The food is outstanding, the staff are wonderful, and everything feels luxurious. We had the most perfect day, and we owe a tremendous thanks to Carbis Bay and the events team for making it possible.

Our perfect day !

I visited Carbis Bay many years ago and said if we get married we must do it here on the beach.
Many years later with our two children and two grandchildren we got married. It was just the most perfect day. X .......and worth the wait!

Look no further, If you are looking for a special location, a superb team who’s eye for detail and their passion for their work shines through. Look no further.
Carbis bay has always held a special place in our hearts, due to being the first place we had a couple of dates and also we found out I was pregnant here.
So the love for the location was 100%.
And now we have the memory of our wedding.
The team were so attentive and prompt. Listened to my vision and made it come alive and sparkle.

We just got married at Carbis Bay Hotel and the whole experience couldn't have been better! From the very first meeting with Ria to the end of our special day the team delivered phenomenally. Ria, Sofia, Abi, and Phoebe were all exceptional. Their professionalism, friendliness, support, and complete control of every part of the day was excellent. Incredible

My partner and I recently had our wedding here and honestly it was the best thing we ever did! The wedding venues are breathtaking, especially the Beach Hut where we had ours. The staff are just simply incredible, all on hand to assist with anything and everything. They are soo courteous and friendly it's just so easy and lovely! Each and everyone especially Ria from the events team went above and beyond to create the most beautiful wedding for us. Couldn't recommend enough!

The most perfect venue

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at the Wedding Hut in June 2023. It was the most beautiful day and everything was simply perfect. The events team go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. From the very start of the day, to the evening party…just amazing. Our guests loved the food and were blown away by the views of the beach. It really is a little piece of heaven.

Ria from the events team was very responsive and informative throughout our planning process and Maxine who coordinated our wedding was amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for Maxine and her team at the Beach Club Restaurant, they work so hard to make sure everything is perfect. We knew from the first time we met Maxine that we were in safe hands and had total trust in her from start to finish. This was particularly important to us, especially living hundreds of miles away from our wedding venue. We both stayed at the hotel the night before our wedding and the staff were great, so accommodating and we took advantage of the spa facilities the night before which was perfect. The venue is more expensive than some of the others we viewed in Cornwall but so worth paying the money for the whole experience, amazing wedding, food was perfect (most guests commented how good the food was after our wedding) and amazing staff. The weather on our day was not as good as we'd hoped so our wedding was held inside instead of outside as planned but Maxine and her team dealt with everything so well, as we knew they would and made it perfect for us, leaving us to just relax and enjoy our special day. We could not of asked for anything better.

We also had Mark Clapp to play his Piano music after our ceremony and throughout the wedding breakfast. We were initially unsure about this as we are very modern in our thoughts but wanted something a bit different and we would highly recommend anyone to have Mark playing his piano. He is such a lovely man and very professional and was very helpful leading up to our wedding. He played all our requests aswell as many of his own choice with music from so many different era's. Most of our guests commented how good he was after the wedding. It created such a great atmosphere, very relaxed but also lively at the same time in parts with us all singing along.
