Having already seen Colshaw hall advertised across Facebook and Instagram, I knew I wanted to get married there before I’d ever seen it in person. After spending hours trawling through many photographers images and reading through reviews, the more spectacular the venue looked in every weather. I knew I needed to see it person. Driving down the truly beautiful drive way, reaching the house, my first thought was, this is well out of budget :(. I was greeted by the team at the opening day who matched my excitement and were so enthusiastic. They were so attentive and so helpful with every question I had. After experiencing such a wonderful tour, I came away with a booklet and available dates… as I initially thought, the prices seemed out of budget until I began pricing up a wedding myself…. Not only would I have not had a wedding coordinator, toastmaster, incredible caterers, a breathtaking venue, accommodation for family and friends and multiple rooms to keep the party going in all weathers, the cost to do it myself plus the stress, the reality of planning and hosting a wedding made the price seem incredibly reasonable. The words “just turn up in your dress and we will do the rest” stuck with me.
The team at Colshaw made every element of planning so simple and stress free. They were always available on the phone and email and made every part enjoyable.
Shelley and Kirsty came to meet me on the morning of my wedding and walked me through every stage. The whole bridal party and guests were in awe of how well the wedding ran. There was never a moment of lost guests or awkward delays, everything just ran so smoothly. They truly made my dream wedding come true. I couldn’t recommend Colshaw enough.

We honestly can’t thank Colshaw Hall enough, from the moment of booking to after our special day they have been nothing short of amazing. They really get to know their couples on a personal level and nothing was ever too much trouble no matter who you spoke to. The day ran like an absolute dream and was so organised which made myself and Joe feel at such ease, even the guests commented on how organised the day was and said it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Every single member of staff is a credit to this wedding venue, no matter who we dealt with we were just greeted with such warmth and kindness. If we were to do the day again we honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing and would have booked yourselves in a heartbeat. The morning after the wedding whilst eating breakfast, David came and spoke to us and asked us about the day and we thought this was such a lovely touch (despite how hungover we both was haha). Colshaw Hall is an amazing, beautiful venue and provided us with the dream wedding day. Thank you to all the team and a special shout-out to Shelley our coordinator and Ian the Toastmaster, who bent over backwards to ensure our day ran smoothly. Honestly, thank you, thank you, thank you!! We cant thank you enough, we want to re-live it again! Nothing was too much trouble, and they did everything they could to facilitate what we had in mind. Being a fusion wedding the day was jam-packed with two ceremonies, two drinks receptions, lunch and dinner, but the team ensured it was stress-free and magical. The open-days were well organised and helpful, the team always answered any queries swiftly, the final planning meeting was really helpful to put our minds at ease that everything was in hand, and on the day it absoloutely was! Considering they do this day-in and day-out we never felt like a number. They are continously improving the venue to add extra features and guests have commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Best day ever!
Colshaw were amazing from
First booking to the actually day itself! Everything couldn’t have gone any better and the staff were a massive part of that! Everyone commented on the venue and staff and the whole day ran like clockwork!
Can’t thank Colshaw enough for helping make this the best day of our lives.

Dean Venue for a Wedding
We had our wedding at Colshaw Hall on the 27th of October and we couldn’t recommend the venue or the staff that work there more. The venue is beautiful with everything you need for a wedding in one place, the staff are equally incredible and will do anything to make sure your day goes the way you want, from the ladies who help you on the day, to the toast master, to everyone else in the back ground. It was such a lovely environment and such caring people. From a very disorganised bride I was never judge for not having things ready and they were always helpful to make sure the day ran perfectly. Beautiful experience
We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Colshaw Hall staff for their hard work and dedication to making our wedding day truly special. Your kindness and understanding made all the difference, and we are beyond grateful for everything.
The venue was absolutely breathtaking, exceeding our every expectation. Our guests were in awe of Colshaw Hall's beauty, which made our day even more magical.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to Tracy Holdcroft for her consistent care and warmth from when we first visited Colshaw Hall until the end. Although the stunning Colshaw Hall was a compelling reason for us to choose it as our wedding venue, Tracy's kindness and compassion ultimately solidified our decision. Tracy, we are truly grateful for everything you did for us. Thank you. Marise, your hard work and dedication on our special day did not go unnoticed. Your kindness and support helped me stay calm during moments of anxiety. And David, we are thankful for your beautiful venue and the incredible staff.

From the moment we drove into the grounds we knew this was where we wanted to get married. As we walked around we could picture our wedding day.
The buildings and landscapes are immaculate, and every time we’ve been we have seen gardeners and staff looking after the estate with the same care they’d look after their own.
The staff are approachable and professional - we never felt silly asking questions or making requests.
If you’ve never been married before it’s quite overwhelming and I felt in safe hands throughout.
Every single element of a wedding day has been thought about by the Colshaw team.
Each of the suppliers recommended by the team were also exceptional.
We had the BEST day of our lives, honestly would not change a thing.
Whats more, our photos within the grounds are stunning. We couldn’t be happier.
If you are thinking of getting married and Coshaw is one of the options, just forget the others and do Colshaw. You won’t regret it.

The BEST venue! from all the planning to the big day, everyone at Colshaw halls goes above and beyond, the venue is perfect the grounds are beautiful and make for the perfect pictures. Every member of staff we can’t thank enough from our first viewing to the dream day they are with you for everything.
A big thank you to Sarah who was a dream on the day with helping button my dress a tie my shoes, and Ian our toastmaster helping calm my now husbands nerves. We can’t thank everyone enough for going above and beyond for not only us by all of our family and friends.
Colshaw hall there are no words to describe an give thanks for everything, you took away all the stress, answered our many silly questions but mainly you allowed us to have our perfect day that we had dreamed about.

We loved every second of our day!
Colshaw Hall made us feel at ease from the moment we walked through the door during an open day. Throughout the process, the team were incredibly supportive, flexible and had the ability to put any worries to rest! Contacting them was straightforward and the team communicate well with one another, meaning that everyone was up to date when we next called with a question. On the day, there were no hiccups and that’s all down to the team at Colshaw! From Ian the Toastmaster, to Shelley in Events and to every member of staff on the day, we owe a huge thank you for helping to coordinate our most important and happiest day of our lives. Thank you!
