Perfect venue in every way
It’s a perfect venue. Be it a small wedding or large. They also allowed our cat to attend the ceremony and wedding breakfast and were kind to provide bowls for her food and water. As for us, the heritage rooms and vibe of the hotel adds a lovely touch to the wedding needing minimalistic decoration. The hotel staff and reservations coordinator for us (Vicki) were super attentive and helpful. Lastly, the food was phenomenal - not just the wedding breakfast meal, but every breakfast as well. Everyone was quiet , polite and helpful throughout our stay. The bridal suite is just gorgeous and overlooks lush green and the river. The daily spa sauna pool and jacuzzi access was an added benefit if you love a good spa. Recommend highly to anyone looking for a wedding venue.It’s a perfect venue. Be it a small wedding or large. Relaxed Refinement
Due to Coronavirus our date was changed 3 times - the hotel staff were extremely flexible and supportive throughout a stressful time. The Perfect Day!
We had the most amazing Wedding at Danesfield House!
We came to them in a bit of a situation, with our previous wedding venue having cancelled with 6 months to go until our day. Danesfield were SO kind, immediately set up a meeting following our initial phone call and showed us the venue. As soon as we had seen it we knew it was perfect, and the team (especially Lucy) gave us a brilliant package considering our circumstance, and offered us everything that we were looking for. I felt so calm and knew that everything was in hand and our minds were completely put to rest.
On the actual day, it flowed so well and the staff were brilliant...We had the most amazing Wedding at Danesfield House!

On the actual day, it flowed so well and the staff were brilliant and attentive throughout the whole day. The venue space was perfect, with different rooms to move throughout the day, and it was seamless. Despite the bad weather, we managed to organised getting outside for some pictures which was great.
The following day we all had breakfast together and then used the spa....which was a fantastic end to the best weekend!
Thanks so much to the team, and I would highly recommend this as a wedding venue. -

Absolutely Fantastic Day!
We had an absolutely fantastic day! It really couldn't have gone better. [We are so grateful] to all the staff who were involved. We deeply appreciate all the effort that went into making everything run smoothly.
Georgina [our Wedding Manager] was so wonderful! Really helpful with all her advice as well as doing everything possible to accommodate all our requests. We can't thank her enough!We had an absolutely fantastic day! It really couldn't have gone better. [We are so grateful] to all the staff who were involved. We deeply appreciate all the effort that went into making everything run smoothly.

High Expectations met without worry
Just a quick note to compliment the team at Danesfield House for the organisation and service provided throughout the afternoon and evening during the wedding reception for my daughter Kyla and her husband Ollie. As you will be aware, the organization which goes into these events is huge and there is always the concern that something will not live up to some very high expectations. However, the decision to have Danesfield House as our venue was absolutely the right one. Hanna was great and provided all the support and help we needed in the run-up to the event and, on the day, Adam and the entire Danesfield House staff that looked after us were fantastic. We received so many...Just a quick note to compliment the team at Danesfield House for the organisation and service provided throughout the afternoon and evening during the wedding reception for my daughter Kyla and her husband Ollie. As you will be aware, the organization which goes into these events is huge and there is always the concern that something will not live up to some very high expectations. However, the decision to have Danesfield House as our venue was absolutely the right one. A Truly Magical Day!
Thank you to the staff at Danesfield House for looking after us and assisting in organising our special day. It was a day that we will never forget and neither will our guests! The event staff was wonderfully accommodating throughout the planning process as well on the day of. We truly felt pampered! A special thanks to Jo our coordinator for her recommendations, her efficiency and ability to make us feel well looked after. Every request of ours was attended to –including accommodating all of the customised items we brought in for our breakfast and going to the extra length of placing our guest’s cases in their rooms! The Versailles room looked magical for the breakfast as well as...Thank you to the staff at Danesfield House for looking after us and assisting in organising our special day. It was a day that we will never forget and neither will our guests! The event staff was wonderfully accommodating throughout the planning process as well on the day of. We truly felt pampered! A special thanks to Jo our coordinator for her recommendations, her efficiency and ability to make us feel well looked after. Every request of ours was attended to –including accommodating all of the customised items we brought in for our breakfast and going to the extra length of placing our guest’s cases in their rooms! The Versailles room looked magical for the breakfast as well as in the evening. The food was delicious and every plate was beautifully presented. Our guest commented on the fact that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Michael the bar manager made wonderful wine pairing suggestions and was wonderfully accommodating during a last minute change. The staff was so gracious on the day of our wedding and the day we spent there after. Danesfield House has a special place in our hearts and highly recommend the venue to everyone . Truly Spectacular and Highly Memorable
The whole day truly was spectacular and highly memorable. We really did have the best day of our lives and will never forget it.
The food was phenomenal (especially the evening food and the dessert during the breakfast, which went down a storm) [...]. The staff were all exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Every staff member that walked past wished us their congratulations, even if they weren't part of the events team at our wedding, which was truly lovely. We wished we'd managed to see Adam at the end of the evening to thank him personally as he in particular, did a fantastic job attending to our every request. Again, nothing was too much trouble and...The whole day truly was spectacular and highly memorable. We really did have the best day of our lives and will never forget it.

The Versailles room looked absolutely stunning and completely perfect, with all of our weird and wonderful chemistry and maths decorations, with which we were so pleased. All our guests complimented the decor hugely and we have some amazing photos to treasure for the rest of our lives.
Finally [to] Jo, we just wanted to say many thanks for your organisation and advice over the last year. You have been efficient and patient and we really appreciate it.
This will definitely not be our last visit to Danesfield House.

Daughters Day was Magical!
Firstly, when we arrived on the Friday, concierge were very welcoming and extremely helpful despite the amount of luggage that we had. We could not have thanked him enough and although we did not catch his name, he is a great asset to your front of house. Concierge were also fantastic on the Saturday, showing people up to our rooms and helping outside services that were involved in the wedding.
Secondly, reception were very accommodating. Allowing us to check into [the bride's] room early. They were also helpful when booking taxi's on the Friday evening.
Thirdly, the staff in the spa were friendly and pleasant to speak to and ensured that we enjoyed the treatments.

As for Adam and his staff - what can we say except that they were all marvellous. Adam himself was amazing, his care and attention to the whole day completely removed all of any potential stress and he ensured a seamless service throughout. Please convey our thanks to him.
Finally, [Jo]. We cannot thank you enough for all of your care and attention throughout the whole time to ensure that [our daughter's] day was magical. We are sure that the day would not have been so successful without your professional advice.
Both [of us] have stayed in many top class hotels throughout the world but I can sincerely say that I have never found a hotel where all of the staff are welcoming and where nothing is too much trouble.
So again, many thanks to all for helping us have such a memorable day. -
