Amazing venue and brilliant staff

Our wedding was incredible and it could not have been done without our wedding co-ordinater Louise! We loved the venue straight away with its stunning grounds and beautiful rooms! We were praying for an outdoor wedding but sadly the British weather had it’s way but the team were brilliant supporting us to make a decision and moving us inside to make the ceremony gorgeous! All the staff were really lovely and super helpful on the day! My husband and I sat the day after and said we could not have asked for any more from the team there and we had the best day!

Perfect Wedding, Finally!

You would have thought organising a Wedding with the ever changing conditions of a Pandemic would be stressful, however with the incredible staff on hand at the DeVere, this process was no more stressful than booking a table at a restaurant.

Nattasia and Tasha were both incredibly helpful, with Tasha being on furlough for a year she still kept in contact with us keeping us updated.

When we had to re book, and rebook again the venue were an absolute pleasure to deal with and there was never a hint of a post covid price hike or additional add ons, in fact we even got a second food tasting as the menu had changed.

Me and my wife had some very odd and bespoke requests which were all dealt with with a smile and an open mind.

On the day despite there being a few speedbumps the venue staff handled them without my wife ever knowing about them, which I would recommend to any Man that this be a target! It is her day afterall.

Once the ceremony started my job was done and at no point through the day were we bothered with issues. Everything just happened! And they happened exactly as we asked. The only anxious moment was when we realised we had totally forgotten about a few things not mentioned for 18 months. But perhaps unsurprisingly the venue staff dealt with them exactly as we had requested in 2019.

Our hotel room was exquisite! Holly did an amazing job to make the room the room an absolute joy to come back too after our wedding breakfast! Gifts balloons and Champagne all laid on unexpectedly, as well as some very cute cuddly toys which we were encouraged to take with us as a memento, to which ablighed!

The food was amazing and venue just perfect.
This really was the wedding of our dreams and could not have been better dealt with.

I cannot recommend the DeVere enough for a Wedding venue, especially after the horror stories we heard from other friends who weren't so lucky to be here for their postponed weddings over the last few years.

Finally Married

We booked a ceremony and wedding breakfast with Wokefield that unfortunately we had to cancel due to lockdown. Our experience with Wokefield from day one was positive. We Had Tasha as our wedding planner and she was so friendly and helpful, always happy to help. As soon as the government said weddings could not go ahead, Wokefield contacted us and made that whole process easy to handle. When weddings were allowed again we contacted Wokefield again so we could just do a ceremony and again the customer service was great, friendly staff who are happy to accommodate your needs. On the day they gave us a golf buggy to be able to take our wedding photos and a nice member of staff called Bevin drove us around and helped us on a very hot day. I would highly recommend Wokefield as a wedding venue, it is picturesque and the staff really do make the process easy in what can be a stressful time.

Again with getting Karl a slot to play golf. He never made us feel like anything was too much. We has asked for Karl's dad to have coke on the table for the wedding breakfast as he can't have alcohol due to medical reasons and Damian made sure it was on there ready for him, little things like this are what make the day special.
Liam, same as above and he was really good at going through the paperwork with me and making sure they had everything down. He even took me through the wedding room at 11pm the night before so he could make sure everything was right.
Rachel, she worked the bar and any time we were in the building she would come and have a chat and let us know little tips on how things have worked for previous weddings to give us some ideas, she even showed us the pop up bar on a previous visit so we could see it and we really appreciated everything she did.

Best Day of Our Lives

We had our Civil Wedding and Engagement ceremony at this beautiful De Vere hotel earlier this year and we had the best day of our lives. Everything ran so smoothly, the staff (in particular Andy from Operations and Natasha from wedding & events were great! The lengths they went to ensure our day was perfect was really appreciated and all our family and friends were very impressed with the venue. The hospitality I was provided for my stay by Andy was excellent aswell and he made me feel very at ease before my big day. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this venue enough, not only is it beautiful from the inside and outside but the staff are very accommodating. Thank you to the De Vere team.

Big Thank You

We wanted to say a big thank you for all your help in making our wedding such a fab day! We enjoyed every minute and really appreciated knowing that all the arrangements were in such safe hands and that all the small details were taken care of ?? We have had lots of comments from our guests about how much they liked the venue and how good the food was! I did also want to pass on particular thanks to Helen who coordinated the wedding breakfast - it was so well organised and the tables were set up beautifully (I couldn't have done it better myself!).

Extra Special

The staff at the venue from the managers to the wedding planner, bar staff, waitresses etc all went the extra
mile. All of our guests commented on how amazing the venue, grounds, service food and drinks were. I
would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or likewise event. They really made our big day extra
special for us.

We cant thank you enough for everything you, Natassia and Damian have done for us. The day, the night and our room for the night were amazing!! Great touch with our robes we cant wait to use those when we are home, the kalms, painkillers and energy drinks were such a personal touch
