Dodmoor House recently hosted our wedding and we could not have wished for a better experience from the first visit right the way through to the end of our big day!
When we first saw the venue, we instantly fell in love with it. The beautiful barns, glorious grounds, a courtyard for mingling and a wonderful bridal/ honeymoon suite had us sold!
The booking process was very easy and Mark and his team immediately set about helping us with our planning. The suppliers who Dodmoor work with are all first class and open evenings provided a great opportunity to discuss the finer details.
As our wedding got closer, we were introduced to our coordinator - the amazing Eleanor. She talked through every aspect of our wedding and put together a detailed plan which took away all of the stress. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very well looked after!
On to the day itself - the venue was dressed beautifully and looked amazing. Glorious by day, enchanting by night!
Eleanor was on hand all day - keeping things flowing but in a completely non-intrusive manner.
Our ceremony in the beautiful Courtyard Barn was perfect. Big enough to accommodate all of our guests, but small enough to feel intimate and unique.
For our drinks reception in the courtyard, we were lucky enough to enjoy brilliant weather while we chilled out to some live music and enjoyed the drinks package which Dodmoor House provided (the Ruby package - fantastic choice of drinks and value!)
We were whisked off by our photographer and were again amazed at all the great locations for those all important photos, before rejoining our guests.
Our wedding breakfast in the Catesby Barn followed and flowed so well, with Eleanor on hand to oversee everything. We were introduced from the mezzanine which gave a real sense of occasion!
After the meal and speeches, the Dodmoor Elves did their work and set the room up ready for the evening reception, while guests enjoyed a coffee/ tea (or something a bit stronger!) in the courtyard barn.
For the evening reception, the room looked amazing and flowed from a chilled first dance venue to a full on party venue!
At the end of the evening, the Dodmoor team were once again on hand to help ensure that everyone got to their transport, which was provided to a nearby hotel.
The following day, we woke to a great breakfast which was delivered by the team to the honeymoon suite. Warm pastries and a delicious selection of cold products with fresh coffee!
We were sad to leave Dodmoor House as the entire experience - from booking to our perfect wedding day, had been so special.
We cannot praise the staff enough and would wholeheartedly recommend Dodmoor House to anyone. Our guests, aged 12 to 80, all commented on what a perfect venue it is.

Don’t hesitate to book!
Do not hesitate to book this venue!
They could not have done more for us and really supported us to ensure we had the day of our dreams that represented us! The venue and grounds are stunning and the photos are absolutely dreamy! We got so many compliments. The non corkage package also supports you to ensure the day is tailored to what you want and there was no pressure ever to have it ‘the done way’.
We also could not have been more impressed with the staff at Dodmoor. Our wedding coordinator was friendly, enthusiastic and made us feel like we were the only person to ever get married there. From supporting us in the planning process to running around on the day appearing from nowhere like fairies and even being there to sew up a broken dress!
Book! Book! Book! You will not be disappointed! -

Incredible venue
Dodmoor House is picturesque and the setup makes it so easy to personalise your day. Through the whole journey, nothing was too much trouble. I can’t say enough about the staff at this venue. They are so attentive, so professional and made everything so easy. As two anxious people, knowing everything was in hand was really important and helped us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Kara in particular was so great at communicating right from the beginning and made the whole wedding planning journey a breeze. She was also so enthusiastic about our ideas and remembered all the special details we talked about.
Our guests all commented on how great the staff are: I don’t think there’s a higher compliment than that. Everyone at Dodmoor played a huge part in making an already amazing day just that little bit extra special.
We had the most incredible day. The venue was a huge part of that. All I can say is, if you’re considering Dodmoor as your wedding venue, do it.Dodmoor House's reply:

I truly cannot recommend Dodmoor enough! The venue is stunning but what really makes it are the staff! They are so friendly and attentive it really makes the the stress of wedding planning melt away. Our co-ordinator Beth-Rai was so lovely, we must have emailed her a million times in the run up to our big day and her responses were always fast and incredibly helpful! The staff truly do go above and beyond to take the pressure off of you as a couple, they handle so much behind the scenes and let you focus on having the perfect day!Dodmoor House's reply:

An individual, unique and amazing venue!
We don’t know where to start with telling you how utterly amazing Dodmoor was, our wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams and expectations & that is largely due to our wedding coordinator Eleanor and Dodmoor being such a beautiful, thoughtful and individual venue.
We knew that we weren’t, but throughout the whole process we felt like we were the only couple getting married at Dodmoor! The communication was so efficient (within five minute replies sometimes), nothing was too much trouble, and they said yes to absolutely every idea we had!
Everything was so well organised, every little detail or tiny note we sent or spoke about was noted down and taken care of, and on the day, the whole day was completely seamless.
Absolutely perfect for brides and grooms looking for an intimate, unique and personalised wedding day, that doesn’t feel like a wedding factory at all! -
