The most magical wedding
Amazing, most magical venue with the most wonderful, helpful staff and the food was out of this world. Stunning 3-Day Wedding!
My wife and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Doxford Barns in October, and it was perfect! The venue is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for with our theme. All our guests were equally complimentary and said it felt warm and inviting. The staff were fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for better service, particularly from our wonderful coordinators Jess and Charlotte and the entire bar and catering team. We felt very well looked after all weekend. The food was delicious, the cottages (and the glamping pods) were quaint and homely, and the décor was stunning.
We opted for a 3-day Friday-Sunday wedding and are so glad we did. The venue could not have been more accommodating and didn’t hesitate to let a small group of us hang around on Sunday afternoon while we waited for our train. Jess and Charlotte were so helpful and put up with all of our irritating last-minute tweaks and changes, without complaint and with a smile. All the recommended suppliers were great, bar a slight hiccup with the DJ, which was resolved quickly and efficiently, and without panic!

Wedding at Doxford Barns
Just spent a lovely weekend at Doxford Barns where my niece, Rachel Wilson, married Phil .Brookbanks. A fantastic time was had by all in lovely surroundings. The Threshing Hall was magical. It was very relaxing, beautiful surroundings, lovely food & staff, Laura & team did an excellent. Lady cleaner was also friendly and particularly helpful. Hope you all enjoyed the wedding cake! Amazing Wedding Day
We had an absolutely amazing wedding day at Doxford Barns. Everyone was super helpful (especially Jess and Sharon), great food, flexibility with specific beers/wines we wanted, fab on-site accommodation, amazing barn for the ceremony. Absolute perfection

Doxford Barns organisation unbeatable!
Luxury Rustic is how the Best Man summed it up. We had a perfect winter wedding, joyous from start to finish. Superbly orchestrated by Abi at Doxford Barns who kept us on track from the Friday night supper, through the main event to the Sunday brunch seamlessly. Great cottages on site warmed with real fires and an aga and the fire pit and twinkling lights outside the barn were magical. We had the most amazing day!
We had our December wedding reception at Doxford Barns; we had the most amazing day and a large part of that was down to the venue and the incredible staff who work there - I honestly can't praise it and them enough! The service was flawless but still personal, and we heard so many positive comments about the operations staff from our guests on the day. Add to that the incredible food they served us (delicious and very generous portions) and of course, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We were very lucky to have Abi as our wedding coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. The best day EVER!!!
The best day EVER!!! The venue is amazing !!!! It snowed and it was touch and go whether everyone would make it!! 7am the farmer was out clearing all the road so every guest made it!!!!
The staff couldn’t do enough for us!!! They made sure no one wanted for anything, nothing was too much trouble!!
Claire was my wedding coordinator and honestly I couldn’t have done it without her she made sure everything was thought of and sorted she’s a brilliant addition to the team !!! I can’t recommend this venue enough thank you so much for everything!! You made our wedding one of the best days ever!!The best day EVER!!! The venue is amazing !!!! The venue itself is GORGEOUS!
Absolutely phenomenal.
The staff are incredible and took such good care of us. The food was top notch and guests are still talking about it!
The cottages were beautiful and well catered for - even had milk, tea, coffee and treats for all guests.
The venue itself is GORGEOUS! People said ‘Game of Thrones’ ‘Harry Potter’ ‘magical’ ‘fairy tale’ ‘perfect’ ‘rustic’ and so much more. Our entire wedding from Tuesday through to Thursday was seamless and we owe it entirely to the staff at Doxford Barns.
Claire, Gemma and the team were all incredible and I cannot recommend them enough. They made our wedding the ‘wedding of the century’ (or so says a very happy guest)! Thank you so much from a very happy newly wed couple.Absolutely phenomenal.
