  5stars from start to finish

  From start to finish we received 5 Star service from the Escot team for our Wedding Reception. The admin was efficient, communication excellent and the planning was stress free and flexible. On the day, we were blessed with perfect weather and the Escot team were faultless in their execution. Thanks to Jo for the admin, Lucy for the planning and hands-on delivery of a perfect day and all other staff involved. Would highly recommend.

  Escot is stunning!

  Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. Escot is stunning! The service was fantastic, such quick service to get the food out. Thank you also for squeezing our cousin in last minute. We would thoroughly recommend your venue to anyone! With so much love and blessings.

  Sam & Bethany wedding

  First of all I would like to say a huge thank you for making Saturday such a memorable occasion not only for Sam and Bethany but also for ourselves and all our families and friends. We had the best day ever and know you played a big part in that.
  Thank you for the extra guest you kindly fitted in at the last minute. Many thanks once again for a truly memorable day it was far more than we had hoped for.

  Everything we asked for was possible

  I want to say a massive thank you to Lucy, Jo and all of the team at Escot for making our wedding on the 26th May so special! Right from the first visit we were sure that Escot was where we wanted to get married, the house, the gardens and view from the terrace are just beautiful. Lucy and Jo are so calm, professional and helpful, everything we asked for was possible and it always felt as though we had the freedom to make our day exactly what we wanted. The day ran so smoothly, had all the personal touches we wanted, the food was amazing and our friends and family commented how personal, relaxed and enjoyable it all was. Thank you so much for everything!

  The most perfect day

  The 6th April was just the most perfect day. It was exactly the day we both wanted - informal and relaxed with lots of laughter, great food and drink, music and dancing for those who wanted it and lots of comfortable places to sit and chat for those who didn’t! We have had numerous cards and messages since we got back to say how much everyone enjoyed the fantastic food and beautiful venue. Will you please also pass on our thanks to the other staff who were working on the day, they were all lovely and really did make everyone feel at home.

  Wonderful wedding day despite the snow

  We just wanted to say a huge thank you for ensuring our daughter’s wedding day was such a wonderful occasion. Despite the appalling weather conditions (a heavy snowfall) the whole day went so smoothly. Your air of calmness was very reassuring and much appreciated. The staff were efficient and friendly. Everyone was very well looked after and the gluten & dairy free lad’s mum wrote to thank us for looking after him so well, so thank you for that as well. The change of menu went really well and suited the cold conditions much better than the original choices. Several people said they had never had such a lovely Bakewell. The fires were a big hit too. So please pass on our thanks to all who helped make the day so special for Pippa and Ed.

  The house is a fabulous place!

  We would like to thank you for allowing us to use Escot House as the venue for our wedding on Saturday 18th February. The house is a fabulous place, and we knew as soon as we saw it that it would be a really special place to be married. As we went through the planning of the wedding, you and Jos were totally efficient in your communications with us, and it was always straightforward to get in contact with you and deal with any queries we had.
  On the day of the wedding, we were so pleased with every aspect of how you managed things from your side. All the things that we had discussed in our planning happened without us needing to do anything. In particular, the reconfiguration of the rooms was done without affecting the flow of the day at all, and really allowed us to make the best use of the wonderful rooms. Also, our vegan guest commented that the vegan canapes were a lovely touch, and the service of her meal fitted in with the other guests and didn’t make her feel conspicuous or an inconvenience. The rest of the food was really fantastic, and we god so many positive comments from our guests. Thank you also for making sure we each got some canapes during the post-ceremony melee – we would not have wanted to miss those honey and mustard sausages!
  All in all, we had a wonderful day, and our guests did too. We have had so many comments on what a beautiful place Escot House is, and what a relaxed day it was, so we thank you and all your staff for welcoming us and for all your hard work.

  Beautiful setting, excellent food
