THE best wedding venue
We had the best experience ever, from location to staff to atmosphere. Everyone from Foxhill's went above and beyond to make sure we have the best day ever. If we could repeat our special day, we would choose Foxhill's every day again.
Angie, the wedding coordinator, was just outstanding. Nigel, the toastmaster, was just the best moderator to bring live to the special day. Luis and his team for catering made every wish come true.
If it's up to us, everyone should have their wedding at Foxhill's.We had the best experience ever, from location to staff to atmosphere. Everyone from Foxhill's went above and beyond to make sure we have the best day ever. If we could repeat our special day, we would choose Foxhill's every day again.

110% Amazing Venue and Staff for our Wedding
Had an absolutely amazing wedding at Foxhills Hotel and Country Club, Ottershaw in September - the staff, venue and food were brilliant. The sit down wedding breakfast for 80+ people was fabulous, unbelievable and couldn't have been any nicer given such a large sitting. From wedding organisation to the execution on the day couldnt have been any smoother - or more fun!

We had such an amazing wedding day at Foxhills from start to finish truly was a special day. such a beautiful venue.
We can't thank Angie enough for all her support and hard work with all the preparation of our wedding day down to every little detail.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and was always on the end of the phone or emails so we knew we was in capable hands.
The whole team at Foxhills was fantastic on the day and everything went as we planned even the weather.
Our guests said how amazing the food was, venue and all the staff and they all enjoy themselves and so did we.
We didn't want our day to to end and sad that it is over and can't wait to be back again next year for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Wedding May 2024
We couldn't have been happier with Angie and Foxhills!
The day went exactly as it was planned, from beginning to end, and that is all thanks to Angie and her detailed oriented personality.
She was always available for me during the wedding planning process. All my emails were quickly responded to, and all my requests were acknowledged.
Angie managed to get us a specific beer that was not part of the usual menu, and this was important to us. This was one of the many examples of her professional and kind approach. It is honestly such a pleasure to work with someone you can truly rely on.
We had discussions about where the cake should be presented until the very last evening before the wedding... and once again Angie to the rescue! Even though the operations team had not been able to provide a specific type of table to present the wedding cake, Angie took it upon herself to find this for us.
She was also very patient with my now husband and his requests and questions. He had not been involved in the thousand emails that Angie and I exchanged. So when the three of us met up to go through all details, she gracefully responded to his questions (on topics that had already been agreed on by the two of us already...).
All in all, Foxhills is a great venue. Incredible for pictures, wonderful food, stunning setting... guests were truly delighted. But the actual service is what did it to me. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Only 3 rooms have air-con so if you value a good night’s sleep make sure you have a cool room
The most important thing if you go away is a good night’s sleep and Foxhills failed miserably here and with the way they dealt with our issues as bride and groom and our guests. They only have THREE rooms that have air-con out of many rooms! The night before our wedding was 26 degrees so was before the unprecedented heatwave.
Our wedding to put it in context was around £10k - we chose the BBQ as wanted it to be more informal and to be able to invite more people to the WHOLE day and not choose who came in the evening. This worked very well especially as we had glorious weather and I cannot knock the food/chef/waiting staff.
Under staffed bar in manor hotel the night before - there was a wake and they just didn’t seem geared up for this. Groom witnessed rude staff serving one of the guests. Clubhouse bar was fine on our wedding night though.
The groom and his best men + wives and various family members stayed there the night before as from played golf with 15 others and some stayed 3 nights. So a total of approximately 8 rooms the night before and many more on the night of the wedding. So many £££’s we are talking about spent at this hotel.
Groom and best man were put in rooms the night before with no air-con. Temperature was around 27-28c/82-83f so fairly average temperature for British summer. The groom had ZERO sleep the night before in our £220 executive room! Nor did his best man and wife.
Then they had to contend with 40 degree heat the day of the wedding trying to get ready so both asked to move rooms. In addition the groom’s mum who is 83 and has Parkinson’s is unable to use the shower in her “accessible” room as it has shower over bath 🤷🏻♀️. She didn’t tell anyone the night before as didn’t want to be a nuisance and do groom had to spend his morning sorting out room and his mum’s out in addition to sweating buckets 🥵
Reception’s response to the complaint by the best man’s wife when they were told the room was too hot and to come and see for themselves was “we know but we’re at capacity and can’t move you”! Poor things had to suck it up for 2 nights and have had a small discount off the cost of their room! I obviously called to demand a new room as no way was I swapping with his mum when I’d paid for an executive room. If we’d not been moved I’d have happily stayed in a standard room! The honeymoon suite is not included if you go for anything other than the wedding breakfast package but we assumed we’d be OK in a £220 executive room as I just needed a bed to sleep in.
We’ve been offered a free stay but would only consider it in winter. But with Premier Inn a good nights sleep is guaranteed and it’s a fraction of the price!
My 18 year old son and girlfriend stayed in a standard room and tried to get into the spa before the 11am cut off (I wanted to see him as he’d been away in Spain so I only saw him morning of wedding for first time and needed a catch up so we were waiting for them in the spa). They were refused entry even though she’d just spent £45 on a swimming costume. Been offered a complimentary upgrade and access to facilities until 4pm after check out if they stay there again. When and why would they ever pay for another room to be treated like that again??

As you mentioned the heat we all experienced was unprecedented for the UK, and of course we empathise with our guests and provided extra fans to as many rooms as was possible. A return stay was offered to you as a gesture of goodwill as this was really out of our control.
I am glad the Reservations Manager was able to assist your mother in law on the day and move her to a room suitable for her needs.
With regards to your son and his partner, our facility use of HealthSpa and Pavilion is accessible after check in at 2pm and before 11am check out as clearly mentioned on the confirmation.
Thank you for sharing your wedding photos with us, they are really beautiful. We always strive to provide the best customer service at the resort and I am truly sorry that you feel Foxhills got it wrong on this occasion, especially after the positive feedback that we received about the other aspects of your wedding.

Amazing service making the perfect wedding!
We held our micro wedding at Foxhills earlier this month and I would highly recommend them as a wedding venue!
With news of Surrey going into tier 3, we asked Foxhills if it would be possible for them to bring our wedding 2 days forward so we could still enjoy a lunch after our ceremony, as planned. Within a couple of hours, they had come back to us and made sure everything was arranged for our wedding to go ahead the next working day. You would have never have known that the wedding was pulled forward. The whole team did a fantastic job to make sure we had the most special day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous for photos, the staff are fantastic and can't do enough and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you Foxhills for helping to provide lovely memories of our wedding day. Everything went perfectly!

From the start to the big day they couldnt have done more for us. The venue is so beautiful and amazing. Jasmine who is Foxhills wedding Co-ordinator was so helpful, she helped us so much on the lead up to the wedding and made sure everything was in place and well organised on the big day for us, cant thank her enough! Foxhills was a superb location to get married and they far exceeded our expectations.
The wedding packages at Foxhills mean that most of the details are taken care of for you. I found this to be such a relief as there are enough other details to be thinking about! Jasmine and her team went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of but also to ensure that all of our specific requests were met and that our wedding was personal to us and reflected us well.
The team at Foxhills are the ultimate professionals and our day couldn't have run better. Despite a few challenges (such as rain most of the day!) they calmly and capably ensured the day was a success. Alex and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and best of all our guests had a wonderful day.
Our guests commented on how brilliant the team at Foxhills were, how smoothly the day ran and how much they enjoyed the beautiful facilities and lovely setting. But most of all people commented on the delicious food! So many people said it was the best meal they had had in a long time and by far the best at a wedding.
Foxhills really is the perfect place to get married. They can cater for large groups (we had 160 sit down) with ease and excellence, the food is exceptional, the service professional yet personal and the facilities and grounds create the backdrop for a beautiful and special day. And I can say with confidence it is perfect in all weather! Fairy Tale Come True
We had our reception at Foxhills early July and it was one of the best days of our lives. We could not have wished for a better setting. The staff were fantastic and made the day so much more special. We just want to do it all over again.
