Seems like these reviews are phony here or paid at 5 stars the place is a construction site with
Work in process, grounds are nice inside is no much more like a bad fire trap with the only lift broken for the week we stayed there

A beautiful day

We booked our wedding only 3 months ahead. The team at Grand Villa Heights and The Apartment Group, especially Lauren, Gemma and Ben, went above and beyond to help make our dream cone true. They were so helpful, supportive and friendly and made the planning process so much easier than I had anticipated.

On the day of the wedding, Ben and his team were incredible! The wholw day was even more amazing than we could have imagined. All our guests commented on how professional, helpful and friendly the staff were and one couple are actually considering getting married at Grand
Villa Heights too!!

We actually chose the venue as we had stayed at the hotel multiple times before and know how stunning the location is. To be able to have our ceremony outside with that view was a dream come true!

We cannot wait to return here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary next year 💕

So pleased to have chosen this incredible venue!

The team at Grand Villa Heights have been absolutely amazing. From the early days of us planning our wedding they have been super responsive, helpful and have gone the extra mile in making our day special, right through to executing everything perfectly on the day. We couldn’t have wished for a smoother operation! Their experience shone in that nothing was too much for them and everything was carried out with ease, which meant we could enjoy our day without any stress. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - it has such a magical feel you don’t find anywhere else and the views across the rolling hills and north sea are...

Outdoor Sea View Weddind Day

From start to finish the staff and the hotel were wonderful. Gemma originally took us around the venue to show us how beautiful the wedding areas were. Ben then took over the wedding planning, and managed to organise the perfect day for us which was then executed perfectly by John and all of the staff on the day. You can tell everyone who works at the hotel loves their jobs, as they will go above and beyond to make your stay just that little bit more memorable.

On the day, we had breakfast brought to the bridal suite (lodge), followed by some of the pre wedding brunch bites. The weather turned sunny the hour before the wedding, we couldn’t believe our luck! What great views to look out onto whilst you say your “I do’s”
Post wedding drinks reception was orchestrated so well with all our guests saying how amazing the food was.

The wedding breakfast was served very quickly, my grandma (97) said everything was “very hot and tasty”. The other guests said how lovely the beef was and the vegetable wellington was delicious and very different from the usual risotto vegetarian option. I loved the fact we had HUGE Yorkshire puddings and silverskins in the gravy, yum!

The transition into day and evening shift was seamless as we held our evening reception in the “chapel”. This was decked out ready for the guests after the meal. Guests couldn’t the dance floor, chat at tables or relax in the private bar. Some guests with children even started to play big jenga in another room of the hotel away from the noise.

We had a perfect day and have absolutely no regrets thanks to the venue and all its wonderful staff!

We will hopefully revisit on our anniversary next year!

Superb and very professional.

A wonderful venue that all our guests thoroughly enjoyed. Some have even been back since.
One guest had a two month old, their room wasn't due to be ready until after our wedding ceremony but the venue got their room ready before so that they could enjoy the day with a base for their little one.
We were made to feel like royalty throughout the entire day. They are magnificent.

The most magical day

Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Raven Hall was the most amazing venue for our day and the photos truly capture how beautiful the setting is, our guests wondered why we were getting married so far from home...until they saw the view. Everyone commented on how wonderful the place is, both in the stunning views and the very attentative staff. Absolutely cannot fault the staff at Raven Hall they went above and beyond for our guests and could not do enough.

Our day was so dreamy and perfect at Raven Hall Hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, whilst being discreet throughout the day’s events. Guests commented on the high quality of food, for both the three course meal and the evening buffet. Not to mention the views that money just can’t buy!

Book this venue for your wedding!

We can't recommend Raven Hall enough - what a venue! The views speak for themselves but the venue itself but the food and the service were exceptional! We got married in June 2023 Gemma, Amy and Ben in the run up to the wedding were amazing very professional and even managed to order in some special beer for our wedding which was really important to us. John and the team looked after us on the day. We had a disabled guest and John inpartcular went above and beyond to ensure they were looked after when it came the ceremony, meal and photos. The team are well versed in weddings and it showed but we still felt like the experience...

He was always happy to answer my questions via phone call or email and ensured we had everything we needed on the morning of the wedding before handing us across to John who was our Master of Ceremonies for the day. John was lovely, kind and organised. I never felt like we were rushed but we were guided through the day by his leadership and I never got to thank him on the day but I really appreciated his calm and cheerful demeanour. Amy helped to finalise all the financial details including our final bill and paying for the extra night of our room. We only spoke via email but her emails were always clear and timely. Alin was the only other staff member we got the name of and he set up our beautiful banquet style tables the night before our big day. He was very friendly, listened to all our instructions and even decorated our tables with the home made decorations we had brought with us which took a huge weight off my mind so a big thank you to Alin. All staff members who took care of us on our wedding day were dedicated, professional and polite. The staff member who served us breakfast even rearranged the dining room the morning after our wedding so that our guests could sit together which was lovely and much appreciated! Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. The whole process felt positive and calm which is exactly what we had wanted. I was also very impressed with how dedicated the catering staff were as we had many dietary requirements and all requirements were catered for including specific vegan and lactose free plates for guests at the evening buffet. They loved that little personal touch. There is so much I could say about this venue to extol its virtues but what stood out to me most was the staff and how dedicated they were to making our experience memorable.
