happy valley is now our happy place!

happy valley is beyond beautiful and the team go above and beyond for their couples ❤️
we instantly knew it was the place for us as soon as we first laid eyes on it. the grounds are sensational and it just gets even more beautiful the more you look around. the spaces available allow you to really tailor your day to what you want, making everyone’s day totally unique, and that is super hard to come across.
katy, hope, and the team are fantastic too - by the end of it, they feel like friends and you know that they’ll do anything they can to make your day special. they were constantly beaming on the day and i wouldn’t...

A magical place run by lovely people

I can't put into words how glad we are that we had our wedding at Happy Valley. The venue itself is a beautiful woodland with a lake and pockets of spaces to explore. We also chose HV because of this and the accommodation on-site (some with hot tubs!), and space for campers in their adjoining field which looks onto a gorgeous meadow. Not all are included in the base price and venue is semi-DIY so bear in mind for budget.

We got super lucky with the weather in late September and it was sunny and glorious but even for wet weather there were options and Katy and Hope were very helpful in coming up with the alternative...

I can't put into words how glad we are that we had our wedding at Happy Valley. The venue itself is a beautiful woodland with a lake and pockets of spaces to explore. From the first enquiry to the actual day (and further), Katy, Hope, and the Happy Valley team were friendly, informative, supportive, and professional answering all our questions and providing advice where needed. We always felt it was okay to get into contact and it helped make the planning a pleasant experience. Hope, our coordinator, went above and beyond on the day, guiding people, helping collect evening food and meeting deliveries - thank you ever so much. The team also provided the clear down at the end of the night.

Overall, an immensely positive experience - if you are looking for a woodland wedding, a backdrop for the most gorgeous photographs, lots of spaces to work with, a friendly and professional service... Look no further. Thank you HV for the best day of our lives!

Perfect for our day!

Katy, Hope and the team were so kind and welcoming. We were guided through the entire process. Very professional, quick to respond and always reassuring! The venue is so versatile, having the flexibility to get married anywhere on site was reassuring, no matter what the weather brings! The entire venue is beautiful, whether you get married inside or out!

The best day ever

From start to finish Katy, Hope and the team at Happy Valley helped us have the most incredible wedding day.
They answered all the questions that we had prior to the day and communication was excellent!
Very relaxed about wedding plans and recommended great suppliers.
We had the best day of our lives and even though the morning was rainy, there was so much beautiful space at the venue to make our day so special.

Absolutely amazing

The most amazing venue and staff, we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place to get married and the help and support from start to finish was the absolute best. From the moment we arrived for a viewing we knew this was our place.
I would recommend anyone to visit to stay and without a doubt to get married there.
It was the best and we are so grateful to have had our special day at happy valley.

Wonderful Team, Beautiful Venue

This was certainly our dream venue, with the gorgeous scenery, twinkly lights, and quirky cabins.

All our guests came away saying it was stunning and unique.

As we married in April, some guests got a tad cold on a night, but the HV staff were accommodating and flexible.

Although we opted out of paying extra for the wedding co-ordination (which we felt should be included in the price), we still felt like the team supported the smooth running of our day and stepped in during some stressful moments to help us rectify supplier issues.

We certainly recommend to any couple who loves the outdoors/nature and wants a venue where they can put their own stamp on the day.

Magical forest wedding venue in Norfolk

We had our wedding celebration at Happy Valley in July 2023 and it was the best weekend of our lives. The happy memories will last us a lifetime. We truly believe that this is a magical place, you can feel the love that has been channelled into the site. From our first visit in November 2021, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The venue has everything you need and more for the perfect wedding!

Our priorities were - a venue where our wedding party could stay on site, so we could spend as much time as possible with them, and a venue where we were surrounded by nature. Happy Valley gave us both...

Our priorities were - a venue where our wedding party could stay on site, so we could spend as much time as possible with them, and a venue where we were surrounded by nature. Happy Valley gave us both of these in abundance. When you quietly walk around the site you can hear the trees gently creak as they sway in the wind, and it feels like they are offering blessings, it's pure wedding magic.

Led by Katy, the staff are super kind and helpful, and communication is always clear and friendly. They have worked with many local suppliers and we really felt the sense of community that has been built here as a business. Marie at The Cattle Yard bar put together the perfect drinks package for us, complete with local wines & bespoke cocktails. All the bar staff were so lovely to all our guests and instantly understood the vibe of our day. Our coordinator Alex was super calm and friendly and was always on hand with encouragement and support. We noticed every single kind word and gesture from the Happy Valley staff and we will always be grateful. If we haven't made it clear enough already - this is the dream team you want on your wedding day.

The venue has so many gorgeous spaces to chose from, both indoor and outdoor so you are covered whatever the weather. It looked like it might rain on our wedding day (it didn't in the end) but we can honestly say that wherever you have your ceremony on the Happy Valley site, there will be a beautiful backdrop.

The accommodation is beautifully put together and it really felt like the best possible (luxury!) festival with our nearest and dearest. The time you are allowed on site is really generous, so we never felt rushed and we felt like we had plenty of time to settle in and then to clear up. Checking all our friends into their accommodation was so much fun! Whether we were having breakfast together in Keeper's Cabin or a post-disco hot tub at Toad Hall, the accommodation was a huge part of the magic of our wedding weekend spent at Happy Valley.

If you are looking for a versatile wedding venue, full of magic and beauty, and run by the coolest, kindest people - look no further, this is it. Have your wedding at Happy Valley and the special memories will last a lifetime. A&R x

Amazing wedding venue

We had a beautiful wedding at Happy Valley- the venue, being a blank canvas, lends itself perfectly to those who want their own style, ideas and finesse put into their wedding day. You can’t beat the outdoor setting, having the beautiful barns, woodlands and lake gives a variety of settings for you and your guests to enjoy and it’s so so picturesque, especially on a summers day. To top it all off the accomodation on site means you can enjoy your wedding day and night then wander over to luxe accomodation for a late night spa, bliss! Katy and the team are also super helpful, flexible and lovely and helped make the experience so enjoyable.

Happy Valley Wedding

The most beautiful venue for our intimate wedding of 10 that we were determined to have despite being amidst a global pandemic. Katy and Kirsty were the perfect hosts and throughout the pandemic and with one already rescheduled date, they worked with us and we could not have asked for more. They were accommodating, understanding and so patient and helped us to still have the most perfect wedding day. Happy Valley itself is also so perfect, beautiful and is full to the brim with wonderful natural and idyllic views and accommodation and we cannot wait to return and be back in our Happy Valley bubble once again.
