Unforgettable experience

We were trying to find a place to hold our wedding reception. We stumbled upon Storyboard at Shepperton as it was local to us, and after talking to the wedding coordinator and seeing the venue and some hearing ideas, we were mesmerized. And effectively decided to hold our entire wedding there and our local and international guests could spend the night in the hotel for convenience. They have a beautiful venue, very classic, classy and simple for the ceremony and reception, beautiful gardens, very meadow like too, good for photography, very tasty menu as well and staff are so attentive and helpful with every detail to make your day a dream.

Omg wow!- unforgettable

Heather and Sandra are a fantastic team, every wish was granted and we had a spectacular day. The hotel facilities are modern, clean and stylish and the wedding day was perfect. Thank you.

A Very Special Wedding Venue

The Holiday Inn Shepperton's Storyboard is a fantastic Wedding venue. It's elegant, spacious and tasteful with a team who exceed all expectations. No matter your questions, your ideas or your theme, every need is understood and met to the highest standard. The team made sure our Wedding day ran like clockwork. They accommodated all dietary requirements with fantastic food throughout, from the yummy canapes to the Wedding breakfast and the very generous evening buffet. The Bridal Suite is very inviting with some lovely celebratory touches too. the whole package is brilliant. Thank you so much for making our Wedding day perfect!

The perfect day

I can't thank the venue enough for being genuinely amazing. Myself and all my guests were raving about the beauty of the venue, the quality of the food and how professional the team at the venue are. If you are considering a venue in the Surrey area I would 100% recommend you give this place a viewing.

Hope you are both well. I know this email is a bit overdue but I just wanted to write to thank you both so much for all your help in the planning, preparation and professionalism in the run up to and on our wedding day. I can't thank you enough. From start to finish it just ran so smoothly. The room was beautiful and everything I imagined it would be. The staff throughout the day were amazing and were happy to help with anything. Tom done such a great job ensuring everything ran so well. He was often seen running here and there but it never seemed to much for me. Thank you...

We were totally clueless when we first met you over a year ago, but you patiently guided us through everything - even when we kept changing our minds about things. You were brilliant at keeping us informed with what was needed and when and fit around my tight travel schedule. Your patience was incredible.

The food was also cooked to perfection and everyone enjoyed it. Breakfast was also well accommodated for, and the vegans thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts.

The wedding was fantastic. You, Tom, Barbara & Susan worked really hard to get everything set up and keep the day flowing seamlessly.

You all worked extremely hard to keep everything to time and make sure nothing overran, which we know is no small task with our lot!!! Again we had a lot of compliments about how hard you all worked.

Overall, we were extremely impressed with everything leading up to the day & the actual day itself.

Our wedding day

Our wedding day was Saturday 18th August at the Holiday Inn shepperton and it was perfect! Sarah was amazing in the run up to the wedding,in constant contact via email, answering the hundreds of questions I had!! The staff at the holiday Inn are wonderful! Extremely caring,patient and nothing is to much. Tom did a spectacular job of looking after us and our wedding guests on the day! It was absolutely perfect!! The wedding breakfast was beautiful, I had nothing but compliments from our guests on how delicious it was! Everything about the day was perfect!
I would highly recommend Sarah and the events team for your wedding/event.

We had our wedding day here on 25th August, I must say Sarah, Tom, Susan & the other members of staff (not sure of their names-sorry) are the most kind, patient & wonderful people to have help organising our wedding day!! They went above & beyond their call of duty to make our day so special!! We cannot thank you enough and we appreciate everything you guys done for us!!

Our wedding day

We decided after 6 years of being engaged it was about time we set a date!
I had made various appointments to look at venues, the Holiday Inn in Shepperton was the first one we went to see – we never made it to the rest!

Once we had spoken with Sarah and gone through the various packages and options, we knew we wanted to get married there.
We set a date for August 10th 2018, and with over 18 months until the big day felt we had loads of time. Once Christmas 2017 had come and gone, the communication between us & Sarah started. A lot of the decisions were left to me – colour schemes...

We decided after 6 years of being engaged it was about time we set a date!
I had made various appointments to look at venues, the Holiday Inn in Shepperton was the first one we went to see – we never made it to the rest!

Once we had spoken with Sarah and gone through the various packages and options, we knew we wanted to get married there.
We set a date for August 10th 2018, and with over 18 months until the big day felt we had loads of time. Once Christmas 2017 had come and gone, the communication between us & Sarah started. A lot of the decisions were left to me – colour schemes etc... I was very indecisive at first and changed my mind 3 times on what colour I wanted! Once we had agreed on the colour, which was Ivory & Mink, Sarah got the ball rolling by ordering in samples of sashes for the chairs. We worked together to get the right colour which wasn’t easy as no one stocked the colour I originally wanted, so we went with Ivory. I didn’t think this would look good on white chair covers but I was actually very pleased with how they looked – very classy.

All the way through Sarah was amazing – constant communication and she answered all of our questions. If I am being honest I would say I leant on her quite a lot for support and advice.
On the eve of our wedding, myself & my bridesmaids stayed over at the hotel, where we met Tom, Barbara, Susan & Ayeesha.

We are gutted it’s all over – it was perfect.
