The best day of our lives!

We would love to give more stars as this really is the most special place to get married. Every last detail was perfection. The team were wonderful and so supportive. They ensured the day ran seamlessly and our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. They couldn't do enough to make us feel at ease.
The venue was stunning as were the rooms.
Charlotte was an incredible support to us, not only is she a funny, kind hearted person, nothing seemed too much trouble and Tegan was a great help on the day too. The team must have worked so hard but to us they seemed relaxed and somehow still had time to get us a drink and relax us just before the ceremony. They made sure we were always in the right place at the right time and stayed on track (which was difficult as we were all over the place - even at the bottom of the garden when dinner was about to start). I didn't look at my watch/ phone the whole day, the time flew by. They linked so well with the other suppliers. The whole day was perfect. Thank you Lanwades (Alex, Elvis, Charlotte, Tegan) for the best most special day of our lives ❤️

The Perfect Wedding Venue

Lanwades Hall was just perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived on Friday afternoon with our family and friends, to when we left on Sunday, we had the most special and unforgettable time. Everyone working there made us feel so welcome and our wedding coordinator, Tegan, was there every step of the way in the lead up and during the day itself. The extensive grounds were stunning and all our guests were blown away by the beauty and character of the walled garden and beyond. All of the recommended suppliers from Lanwades we chose: Cambridge Wedding Services (DJ), Portfolio (Caterers), Heidi Appleyard (Florist), Juan Muino (Photographer) & Derek (Wedding Car) were absolutely fantastic and helped make our day perfect. Our videographer -Kelly Southby - was also brilliant and helped capture our day. A special mention to Elvis who, from the very first moment we met him on our first visit to Lanwades, made us feel so welcome with his warmth and enthusiasm. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lanwades Hall to a couple looking for the perfect wedding.

The best day ever!

I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Lanwades team, yet again. I celebrated my wedding here on July 12 and found both the venue and staff fantastic. My husband and I highly recommend the venue to anyone pondering whether to choose it for their big day.

Our wedding at Lanwades was just perfect

We viewed several venues for our wedding and picked Lanwades Hall for their gorgeous gardens and the charming old mansion. But we had no idea that along with that, we are getting the most professional staff we could ever imagine. Charlotte, our wedding manager, seamlessly coordinated all suppliers and made sure everything is on schedule on the day. She anticipated our every move and our every need, even brining food for us when we hid in the garden to have a quiet moment together. We had our ceremony outdoors, which went perfectly, but all backups were ready in the case of rain. Our wedding night was unforgettable in the beautiful bridal suite, and our family staying the night at Lanwades was equally impressed with their beautiful suites. Overall, we couldn't be happier we picked Lanwades Hall and our guests still keep mentioning that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they ever attended!

Fabulous Venue!

Lanwades Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first visited the venue we fell in love with it. It looks very grand but has a very intimate feel to it and the grounds are beautiful. We went for the weekend package which was brilliant for giving us time to set up and to spend the evening before celebrating with our friends and family. The day itself was everything we could have wished for and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. Thank you to Charlotte, Tegan, Alex and Elvis for making our day so special.

What about amazing wedding venue

We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Lanwades in June 2024. The team there are so incredible, managing to be laid back but totally on top of everything at the same time. They managed all the details seamlessly in the background and we were able to enjoy the day without worrying about anything. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with beautiful grounds and lovely accomodations. Thank you so much to Alex, Elvis, Charlotte and Tegan for helping to make this such a special day for us. We really appreciated all the extra little details. I highly recommend this beautiful wedding venue.

Just wonderful

Lanwades Hall was a beautiful setting for our wedding, providing exclusive use and a lovely atmosphere. The hosts were flawless with a very professional and friendly team, helping with every detail throughout the process from initial booking to the eventual big day.
The grounds are stunning and perfect for an outdoor wedding. We chose to have a summer wedding to enjoy the gorgeous walled garden and its flowers - it exceeded our expectations.
Inside, the venue is equally superb for dining and partying, with additional rooms to take a break from proceedings and relax. So many of our guests were extremely complimentary about the venue.
The accommodation for the night of the wedding is equally impressive and was so welcomed by many of our travelling family.

A stunning, hidden gem

Lanwades Hall was the perfect venue for our day. The hall is completely stunning but still has a comfortable, homely feeling to it which helped to make our day feel relaxed. The grounds, including the sunken garden, are beautiful and well looked after, giving you endless opportunities for gorgeous photos. Plus the accommodation upstairs allowed our travelling family and friends to enjoy the night to the fullest. The rooms were super comfy and the supplied breakfast meant there was no admin for us to worry about!

Charlotte, Alex, Elvis and the team were so friendly and helpful throughout the planning process. Communication was always strong and, on the day, there was literally nothing for us to do!! They made it all so easy!

The only tiny hiccup we had was a misunderstanding about music for the service - we were unaware that we had to find someone from our wedding party to manage this - but it was soon sorted. It just would have been nice to have a staff member support us with this.

Amazing from start to finish

We can not fault Lanwades or the team they are amazing from start to finish. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. Charlotte was amazing she even helped on the run up to the big day with advice(even tho she was on holiday herself). we didn't have the best weather on the day (rain all day) but they thought of everything and the whole day run so smoothly and this is down to the team. We could not recommend Landwades and the team any higher. I'm going to miss not talking to carlotte and visiting on the open days. Its a beautiful venue with a beautiful team who make you feel so welcome from day one.
