Our wedding day the most perfect day!

Absolutely amazing place and staff are great! We had the most perfect day and didn't have a single hiccup! Absolutely incredible place and staff.

Perfect from start to finish

Lazaat was brilliant from day one in making our wedding exactly what we imagined. They answered any questions we had and were super responsive to any emails we sent - even after the day was over! Max worked our wedding and was amazing from even the night before. He chatted with us and got to know us and helped us with everything we needed and made everything run so smoothly. Lazaat were amazing with our friends and family that had allergies or special food requirements and made sure that things were just right for those people too, and also the kids meals, which was great. We would not hesitate to recommend Lazaat to have your wedding or any other function or celebration.

A perfect day!

We had our wedding at Lazaat's on 8th March 2025 and it was the most perfect day. Everything ran so smoothly, and our wedding coordinator Paul was absolutely lovely.

Our wedding breakfast was so tasty and we couldn't fault anything about the Lazaat's team on our day.

Our wedding day

Saturday 8th march 2025, our wedding day and the best day off our lifes. We chose lazaat hotel cottingham for our venue in the monsoon & safron suite and it was honestly the best decision we made from start to finish they all made us feel so at ease answering any questions we had and always having someone to talk to about our day. When it came to the day it went so smoothly thank to our wedding day coordinator make sure everything went to plan which it did we felt so comfortable with all the staff. The food was also a massive hit with all the guest saying how nice it was and the star of the show...

Saturday 8th march 2025, our wedding day and the best day off our lifes. We chose lazaat hotel cottingham for our venue in the monsoon & safron suite and it was honestly the best decision we made from start to finish they all made us feel so at ease answering any questions we had and always having someone to talk to about our day. When it came to the day it went so smoothly thank to our wedding day coordinator make sure everything went to plan which it did we felt so comfortable with all the staff. The food was also a massive hit with all the guest saying how nice it was and the star of the show was the profiteroles in chantilly sauce which was everyones favourite.
Everything thing about our day was so perfect and was everything we had dreamed of so thank you for making our dreams come true

Value for money venue that’s missing the the final touches

Value for money venue that’s missing the the final touches. The some staff on the lead up to the day such as Eleanor (on Reception) and the staff on the day were great such the Night Events Manager (Nathan from memory), a small few (mainly senior management) lacked appreciation that it was our special day and not just another wedding. Glad we used Julie (weddings by Julie) as our wedding planner as we live far away to support us on the lead up to and on the day.

The space in the pavilion suite is great and large, which allowed for us to make it our own by using a separate DJ (videoandvinyldj), happycakies for the table decor...

Value for money venue that’s missing the the final touches. Glad we used Julie (weddings by Julie) as our wedding planner as we live far away to support us on the lead up to and on the day.

The space in the pavilion suite is great and large, which allowed for us to make it our own by using a separate DJ (videoandvinyldj), happycakies for the table decor (including chairs and round table cloths) and a booth and beyond for a Photo Booth and guest audio box. We had our wedding ceremony offsite and opened up the room using stanchions to divide it. Food was the shining star for the venue and I am glad that Lazaat allowed for an option of two meal choices rather than just the one (for no extra cost) so that we could cater for our guests needs and our own tastes.

What would make this venue even better is:
- A bit of investment a freshen up as aspects are dated, high chairs were all broken with no available replacements when asked or swapping out the square table cloths for round tables.
- Empowerment and trust of their talented staff, it is interesting to see how the atmosphere soon changes in the room when the director enters and equally rude at times to guests and staff.
- The breakfast was a bit lacklustre compared to the imagery online and had limited choices.
-It would also be great if we could add a special drink(s) behind the bar for a fee as the choice is limited too.
-Other little touches such as hooks in the room for the bridal suite to allow the hanging of the dress.

Would choose here again in a heartbeat!

From our original booking up throughout till us leaving I can not fault communication, how helpful, welcoming and accommodating the staff are. Max was our wedding coordinator throughout the morning/day and he was amazing and ensured everything ran smoothly! Nathan was on hand for the reception and was amazingly helpful the night before the wedding with making sure we were looked after, multiple guests commented on how amazing and helpful he was! Our day was beautiful, couldn’t have gone any better. Everyone loved the food and was pleasantly surprised how tasteful it was, the little details or adding Mr & Mrs to our meals we as beautiful. We had roughly 10 rooms booked the night before and about 16...

Didn't think our day could get any better

Me and my mother stayed the night before and we was made to feel so special andwelcomed any questions we had was answered. The venue was perfect location, the room The venue room all very clean and modern 👌. Food was great top knock from there guest menu we ate from night before to breakfast all you can eat the meals on our wedding day was spectacular all our guests complimented on how good the food was and the detial to presentation outstanding. I honestly didn't think my day could have gotten any better by marring my bestfriend my person I do life with surrounded by my favourite people but it did tbe staff at Lazzart made it so much more special Linda at perfect wedding also made the rooms look amazing beautiful I was over the moon with my whole experience and this I what makes the day even more memorable my perfect day was worth every penny and it wasn't expensive and definitely with in a budget. I would highly recommend Lazzart Hotel for your wedding package ours was all under one roof food,wedding,night time venue and DJ it was so stress free too.

Mr and Mrs graves wedding

So pleased we booked this venue for our wedding. From start to finish the staff was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and all our guests loved it. The rooms are immaculately clean. We are so happy we booked this venue and would definitely recommend it
