  Small wedding - Berystede Hotel

  We planned a small intimate wedding reception at the Berystede, Library Room with all guests staying at the hotel. Fiona was completely understanding of the wedding we wanted and provided the best experience for us. We will forever be grateful for the afternoon/evening provided by her and her team for the wedding and also for the morning we had all eating breakfast together on the terrace the following morning. Would highly recommend the Berystede for a wedding and especially Fiona for her expert planning skills and kind listening to what we wanted (a skill not so common in the wedding industry we had found!!)

  Macdonald Berystede

  Had my wedding here in June, the staff were amazing and went the extra mile to make sure our day was special.
  Everyone is still talking about how good the food was and what a lovely wedding.
  
  Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is thinking of getting married.
  
  We stayed from the Friday-Sunday with our wedding on the Saturday and the staff looked after us the whole time, we make use of the spa and swimming facilities and everyone who stayed enjoyed the weekend.

  Beautiful venue

  This was the first venue we looked at and loved it straight away. We did look at others but came back to here and wasn't disappointed.
  Fiona and the team were brilliant and created a bespoke wedding package to cater to our needs. Details and planning were to the point. She even drew room plans for the day! They also have great connections with BWH Events who supplied our decorations and photo pod.
  
  Beautiful venue with amazing photo opportunities inside and outside.

  Wonderful experience! Superb!

  Above and beyond

  I would definitely recommend the venue they were faultless from checkin to check out.
  However they did recommend a third party supplier ‘bwh events’ who’s DJ I would not recommend who only followed a pre set list of music and refused to play requests from guests. Unfortunately this only reached the bride and groom’s attention at the end of the reception.

  Wedding for 15 people with accommodation

  Clare and Lee wedding

  Abbi is amazing, I wouldn't of dealt with anyone else. She went above and beyond for us.

  WOW, Amazing, Fantastic, Fabulous, Excellent!

  We recently got married at the Berystede and I cannot thank the team enough.
  
  Started off with the wonderful Sarah being the best wedding planner there is, no request was too big or small - she reeled us in with her bubbly personality and above and beyond approach.
  
  Sarah then handed over to Lauren and this girl is UNREAL!!! she knows her stuff and the whole weekend was planned out to within the very last second. Lauren is an operational, logistical goddess and has everything on lock down it is a well oiled ship. Lauren worked alongside Chris and what a diamond he is, Ensuring everything was slick and wonderful.
  
  Every single member of staff that worked on our wedding was unbelievable. Friendly, Helpful, Happy, Amazing, Fabulous. Everyone worked with so much passion and enthusiasm and they really do care which made our wedding the best day of our lives.
  
  All of our guests were super impressed with the hotel, the staff, the food, the atmosphere, the rooms, the rates, the spa, the pool.

  Wedding, Absolutely Perfect Day!

  We decided to marry at the Berystede after getting engaged there and visiting for a few spa weekends. Every time we visited, the staff were very professional and attentive to our needs. Those that helped run our wedding day, Lauren and Chris, were fantastic! Lauren helped me stay calm when we had a meeting with her the day before the wedding and told me time and time again everything will be okay. . . and it was! Lauren’s attention to detail and dedication to our wedding was truly remarkable. She laboured behind the scenes from dusk till dawn to ensure our day ran perfectly. If there were any problems, she found a way to solve them quickly without needing to interrupt our celebrations. Chris also deserves a special mention. Acting as a toastmaster Chris worked tirelessly to make sure that both us and our guests were in the right places at the right times. Chris’ kind yet assertive nature was perfect to ‘herd’ our guests to where we needed them to be. Most importantly, Chris’ charisma and charm really made our day. He guided us through all of the formalities with care and professionalism, leaving us with the feeling that the Berystede truly cared about our special day. For any future brides thinking of having a wedding here, you will not regret it! The Berystede customer service is exceptional and we will certainly be back for another stay, perhaps on our first anniversary ?.
